    It was my birthday and I am so happy that we chose this wonderful place to celebrate! The ambience was perfect; low- lighting with candles on the table. There was even a birthday card on our table signed by the entire staff. The owners stopped by our table to check on us. You could tell that they care about their customers. Our server, Zack, went above and beyond; giving us exceptional service. I highly recommend getting the bacon-wrapped dates, hangar steak, and Aunt Lena’s chicken. I can’t wait to come back!

    Celebrated a birthday with 6 women. Service was fantastic. Food was flavorful. Menu selection was great and they accommodated allergies and special requests. We come a few times a year and always enjoy. Been a customer for decades.

    Sugo is one of our favorite restaurants. This meal was a celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary. Mr and Mrs C made the experience simply perfect. My wife and I and our friends had four different delicious dishes: bolognese, eggplant parm, shrimp scampi, and Aunt Lena’s Chicken. They were all superb!!! And the Chianti was the perfect complement. I’d recommend Sugos for any occasion and don’t forget to take one of their cooking classes for a truly delightful experience.

    Wonderful evening with great food and service. We are patrons who remember when Sugo was in Roswell. We went over to the John’s Creek location to celebrate my partner’s birthday and had an amazing experience. A true neighborhood gem, even on a busy night with a rehearsal dinner party in the mix, the staff was attentive and welcoming. The food was perfect. Ciao Bella!

    The bacon wrapped dated were delicious, the Halibut was excellent, burrata salad very good. Staff are friendly , helpful, attentive.

    I’ve been visiting Sugo for well over a decade, drawn by its reputation as a Mediterranean cafe with Italian flair, first at the now-closed Roswell location and now at Johns Creek. Sadly, like a culinary “Groundhog Day”, I always come and then leave disappointed. Their $17.76 Fourth of July weekend special lured me back, and I was impressed by the contemporary yet cozy ambiance of the Johns Creek spot. The service by Kimmy was exceptional - hands-down the best I’ve had at Sugo and among the best in the area. Unfortunately, the food fell short again. We started with the bacon-wrapped dates appetizer, which I found uniquely flavorful, but my wife didn’t care for it. My lamb burger from the special menu was poorly executed with a slimy texture and off-putting taste. My wife’s black truffle pasta was underwhelming in both portion size and flavor. The fries were decent, but it’s telling when fries are a highlight at an upscale place. Even the Peroni beers disappointed, served in water glasses filled only three-quarters full. With so many dining options in Johns Creek, I think this might be my last visit.

    It’s been awhile since I’ve been back to Sugo’s. I can tell you I won’t wait so long go back again!! You cannot go wrong here: the food is fabulous, the staff friendly and so accommodating. And did I mention the food is fabulous? I’m already plotting what I’ll order next.
