Owner came by to make sure we were taken care of.
Careful, caring service! Wonderful food and extensive wine list. They also have a vegetarian menu and will gladly accommodate requests. Very clean! Owners stop by your table several times to check in but not intrusive. This is a lovely restaurant with a cozy, date night atmosphere.
SuGo's is a excellent upscale restaurant in the Johns Creek area. The menu is well conceived and presented very professionally. The Hanger Steak, and signature Maine
scallops were wonderful. It was a experience we will want repeat often.
The food service the atmosphere are excellent. It is hard to have conversation because of the noise level
Great food that starts with fresh, high quality ingredients made into tasty recipes. The owners work the floor greeting customers and overseeing the warm, friendly dining experience.
Love this place !
My husband and I celebrated his birthday at Sugo, our absolute favorite restaurant and had our usual fabulous time! I can’t say enough about the food - my personal favorites are the flatbread (the thinnest crust, most tasty you’ll ever have!) and the salmon (w/tomatoes, artichokes, kalamata olives, spinach, YUM!!!). But as wonderful as the food is, it’s the staff who knock our experiences there out of the park. Kim was our server - she was so attentive and sweet. Alec, the bartender, made the best cocktails (try the Aviation). Mr. and Mrs. C stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect. It was more than perfect. We are Sugo groupies!!
Fabulous dinner! We selected the restaurant randomly because we were in Atlanta for the night. What a great treat!
If the doctors told me I only had two hours to live, I would spend the at Sugo! What a great place to be!
We sat at the Bar for drinks and dinner. Alec is a great Bartender!.
Went there for the anniversary. Very nice service. Great food and wine.
Delicious! Amazing service! LOVE
I loved my meal. My date did the Pork tenderloins and I did the special they had. The special was a fish fillet crusted in parmesan breadcrumbs with a few nuts in a sauce, the sauce was amazing! The presentation was great! Only thing I will say is I did not care for the Pinot Noir, the taste seemed a bit off to me, reminded me of basic red table wine. Besides that, I would go back.
Consistently FANTASTIC!!! My husband and I could do commercials for Sugo:) We love dining at Sugo and have had several Xmas parties there. This visit was awesome. We both tried dishes that were new to us and they were some of our favorites. My husband had the hanger steak and it was to die for. The meat was so tender and the vegetables had the flavors infused into them and were awesome. I had the shrimp pasta dish and it was amazing as well. It really is no mystery why this restaurant is always so great. It is all about the owners. They are always there, greeting people, keeping an eye on everything. They are friendly and passionate about great food. This is the one of the best places ever!
We love Sugo and enjoy every opportunity to make it our place for special occasions.
If you haven't experienced Sugo, it's time. You won't ever be disappointed.
Great food and great service
Hands down the best Italian restaurant I have ever been too insanely humble and inviting staff and just an amazing experience overall . Loved it
My wife and I had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner at Sugo on Saturday night. Food was great as always and our server Sara was so awesome. She made the overall experience even that much better.
Great for date night! Every dish we ordered was perfection! The Old Fashions were dangerously delicious! The service couldn’t have been better. Stephen was great. Will definitely be back.
The food was excellent! Loved the bacon wrapped dates and cannelloni! Our server Jaqui was wonderful! Definitely will be back soon!!
Sugo is always a great experience!. The service, flavor and quality of food always speak for themselves. Our only disappointment in our most recent visit was they were completely out of the lobster that was part of their 3 day, Valentines Prix Fixe menu. Once again, this is only due to the fact that we came on the 3rd day and others who also know the value of Sugo, depleted their supply.
loved the experience the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very elegant.
Valentine’s Day I had 8:15 reservation but did not get seated until 9:30. Not sure if this is normal. Food was fairly good, value was fair, not great
Valentines and a birthday
Everyday or special occasions are all wonderful at Sugo!
So arriving on time and after waiting 30 minutes to be seated for our 7PM reservation I had to inquire of the busy front staff how much longer to expect to wait. We were finally then seated ...... more than usual wait to place our order ...... the food was excellent and our waiter was knowledgeable.
