Really enjoyed the duck fried rice, mushrooms, chicken wings. Everything was surprisingly delicious. I say surprising because there wasn’t that big of a crowd that evening.
Brandon is amazing, always great service and very friendly! We always return to Sugar Cane because of his exceptional customer service!
Food was great, lost our server for a while but the manager stepped in and made it right!
Our group of four so enjoyed the first experience here that we returned the next day, each time for breakfast. The creative takes on classic items were big hits: duck waffles, mushroom or smoked salmon Benedict, crispy smashed potato with chilies. Maybe because no one expects breakfast in a raw bar, the place was calmer than the general mayhem on the casino floor eating options. Food was very nicely prepared and presented. My potato was a delightful mix of fluffy and crisp, with bursts of chili and citron. Service was energetic. We were seated promptly, and were out within 45 minutes. Great find!
We went for brunch. Order the toad in the hole.
We did breakfast - a nice twist from the packed places on casino floors. Creative menu and really good food.
The food was honestly great. And our server wasn’t outright bad, he just seemed busy and didn’t have a lot of personality. The young host on the other hand was absolutely terrible. We show up at our designated time for our reservation and it was not very busy. She pointed to a dirty table and said we’re still cleaning it it’ll be about 5 minutes. Ok, I have no problem waiting. But then she stood there and tapped her fingernails and didn’t go to clean it. I know there are bussers, but there was no one behind us in line and it wasn’t busy and they were late on our reservation…. Go help the bussers out! She waited there for about 4 minutes, got uncomfortable with us just standing there and proceeded to start bussing a DIFFERENT TABLE. Once sat everything was fine, but that experience was rough.
Not what I was expecting. Extremely small portions for the price. We left here and ate somewhere else for a more satisfying meal.
Great food service and cleanliness
Service was good, quick service. Eggs cooked perfectly. A little pricey for avocado toast, but prices have gone up everywhere. Nice quiet place tucked in the corner.
The best service we have ever had. The flavors were ok. My waffle was bland and Binet was plain. Not too much flavor.
The Szechuan dumplings were scorched and covered in burnt garlic chips. The beef empanadas were monstrous and for a bar that considers its self tapas style should have been 4 smaller ones. The seafood tower, the king crab was tiny, snow crab size. The lobster was under cooked, the oysters were itty bitty little cherry oysters. The mussels were still firmly attached to the shell. The shrimp were perfect though. Service was abysmal and when the manager stopped by to ask how our meal was he simply didn’t care. My wife and I generally love raw bars and when we saw this place we were excited to try it. What a mistake that was.
Our waiter delivered our food to the wrong table and then asked if he could take it from them and give it to us because, “They haven’t even touch it yet…” ummm … no.
My server was extremely proficient and knowledgeable. I think the receipt said his name was Brandon.
-Wife loved her oysters
-Spicy tuna sticky rice appetizer was like a 3.5/5 on the heat scale, a little more intense than I expected (still delicious!)
-Bacon wrapped dates were very savory, first time I had an appetizer like that
We shared the Fat Boy Hash for entree and it actually was great but felt like this portion size was a little small all things considered.
This place doesn’t know what it wants to be in terms of a restaurant. It says it’s a tapas but it only had a small number of items that would really be considered tapas. The food overall was mediocre.
Service was a little brusque. I was wondering why the servers weren’t as pleasant. Managers worked hard filling in for missing servers but our server was not as attentive overall.
The thing that was annoying? The chairs screeching against the floors. Felt them up!! It was so annoying to hear as we sat or others sat and moved around.
Overall - we won’t be back.
Duck and waffles entree was amazing as were the beignets and tuna tartare!
We learned of this place on Opentable and Yelp and checked in
Horrible from start to finish. DO NOT EAT HERE. Despite having reservations, waited over 20min. just to get waters. We had to hunt down a server, to take our orders after 30min. The menu is very limited can not even make an omelet???? No flavor, small portions, left hungry and upset. You have been warned.
Went for a bachelorette party and it was phenomenal food
I got the short ribs and they were to
Die for. $25 all you can drink mimosas WORTH IT STRONG!
We will be back! Everything is excellent!
We ate at Sugarcane for breakfast right before we departed Vegas. We had a reservation and were seated quickly and brought waters. The waiter took our order in a timely manner. It did seem to take quite a while for the food to arrive. I had actually thought that perhaps the waiter may have forgotten to input the order. After about almost a 25 minute wait, the food arrived to the table. I ordered the breakfast platter (tasty!) and we also ordered the huevos rancheros (smaller in size but tasty too!). We will return!
My wife ordered a Mojito one of their special and didn’t have the ingredients to make it. We sent the shrimp back it was terrible. The spicy tuna hand roll had almost no tuna. We had had breakfast earlier in the day which was very good.
Great service, made us feel very welcome and special for a friend's birthday. Would love to return and will definitely recommend to friends!
Our server Adrian and the manager on duty that night 8/26/2021 was amazing! My friend and I really wanted to try their HH but we weren’t able to because the bar was going to be closed for a private event, but Adrian and his manager allowed us to get some happy hour drinks and food before it ended!!! We were really happy about it! Amazing food too!
Great value and great food perfect size plates , feels like a tapas style
My avocado toast was very good but skimpy. $18 for 1 slice bread with 2 eggs
The food was cold and the service was terrible., not at all what we expected.
The food was great, our server, not so much. She was super slow and seemed to not be all there.
Not impressed , bone marrow was what I ordered and was a cut bone with pretty much no marrow or really just a little . I ordered a glass of Italian wine they didn’t have it . Server brought wrong check and then when I told him about it , brought my check already signed from another customer to me and the incorrect check given to me to them with my info on it ( charging to the room ) . There many other option around won’t recommended
The food was outstanding. We had the wedge salad, the poke bowl, mushrooms, and the short ribs. The server was not as attentive as he should have been, but the meal was delicious.
the food was bland and cold. the service sucked, took way too long to get drinks. the table next to us, however, was getting service every few minutes. i ordered the bottomless mimosa and was given one a few minutes after ordering and then the other was well after we finished our meal, right before she gave us the check. i basically paid $25 for one mimosa. the seating was cramped and we had to lean on one side of our table to make sure it didn't wobble so much that our items didn't tip over.
Our favorite place for breakfast at the Venetian. The food is always delicious and innovative. The bistro is in a busy spot in Restaurant Row between the Venetian and Palazzo, so it’s loud. And popular. Make reservations, especially on the weekend. It’s worth it.
Many breakfast entrees come with their sourdough bread, which is delicious. I love the breakfast platter, because I am a purist. My companion loves the hash, and really enjoyed a pulled pork Benedict, a daily special.
On our last visit, we met manager Will, who learned we were locals, and treated us to a Torrejas, a delicious melding of French toast and bread pudding, with a side of cinnamon ice cream. It was dessert for breakfast.
Don’t miss this little gem. It’s right across from Yardbird, where there’s always a line and a wait. I like Yardbird, but I like Sugarcane better.
this is a must go for us. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is really nice, and we always enjoy it. We will definitely go back.
Tapas plates don’t disappoint. If you want something light— or heavy— this is a little gem. You can watch the crowds trying to get into Yardbird, which delivers delicious food in its own right, but don’t overlook Sugarcane.
Share everything. The goat cheese croquettes are filling, but not greasy or overwhelming. The popcorn shrimp was perfectly battered and fried. That portion was hefty. The lamb chops were perfectly seasoned and my guy’s favorite. The corn was good, fresh and well seasoned.
The restaurant is loud, as it is open air and located at the crossroads of the Venetian and Palazzo. Some of the sofas have lost their stuffing and patrons sitting there will be too low for the table. We rejected such a seat and watched others do the same. Venetian, you’ve got a winner here, but please replace that sofa!
MOST AMAZING food possible, the drinks and complex flavor. Our waitress offered great suggestions and everything was phenomenal
Went for brunch - steak and eggs, crab cake benedict, mushroom benedict and duck and waffle - all VERY GOOD!! We've been there for dinner several years ago and that was just as good
