At SUGARCANE raw bar grill, globally inspired small plates come from three kitchens – an open fire grill, raw bar and traditional kitchen – overseen by award-winning Chef Partner Timon Balloo. Inviting guests to “kick back, eat well and stay awhile,” we are on a quest to celebrate the simple pleasures in life – eating well and celebrating with friends – with a focus on the “shared experience.”

In 2016, SUGARCANE raw bar grill opened on Restaurant Row at the Venetian® Las Vegas, an AAA Five Diamond luxury resort on the Las Vegas Strip. The restaurant was quickly recognized by top culinary outlets: Eater called it “the most anticipated arrival of the year” and named it one of the “15 hottest restaurants in Las Vegas,” Thrillist and The Daily Meal dubbed it “Best New Restaurant,” and Lara Spencer of Good Morning America called it “Las Vegas’s newest hotspot.”

Tapas selections for shared plates. Interesting menu Rock Shrimp rocks. As well as sliders. Would repeat with larger group to enjoy multiple selections.

The brussel sprouts and the beef Benedict was amazing. Everything was flavored well and tasty. The unlimited mimosas on the weekend was a must add on.

It's sort of like tapas with plates to share, about 2.5 places per person worked for us (5 people 12 dishes) A very nice selection and we were surprised how many vegetable dishes we wanted, and loved!

The BEST avocado toast I’ve ever had!!! The only thing was that our food took a very long time to arrive at our table .. Almost 30 minutes. Other than that everything was perfect! We very much enjoyed the blended juices as well.

After eating at the Miami location several times I had high Hope's. That was short lived once we sat down. The service nor the food is anywhere close to on par with the Miami location. Let's start with the food. We ordered the sushi scallops, rock shrimp, sliders, duck and waffles, empanadas, wagu beef and short ribs. The " wagu beef was so tuff it was unbeatable. The short ribs were burnt and came out 15 minutes after we had finished evthing else. The sliders were ok but over cooked. Which was the theme of the night I guess. The scallops were good and the rock shrimp were very good. The duck and waffles just taste better in Miami. A person in our group had maybe the worst margarita I have ever tasted. He sent it back and they replaced it with no issue. The place was very empty but our server was no where to be seen most of the dinner. Considering the quality and service we have always received in Miami I was shocked and very disappointed. We come to vegas way more then Miami but wont be back to this location. We chose not to complain while their because our server took so long we were going to be late if we stayed any longer.

The welcome & service we received both at the dining room & bar were friendly & excellent! Thanks a lot for my free slices of your “melt-in-your-mouth” Chocolate Mousse Cake!!! The 2 small pieces of Lobster Rolls & 2 Empanadas we ordered at the restaurant were too expensive for the size of servings given and their tastes were just ordinary! However, the Mojito, Sliders, Pig Ears Pad Thai, Fresh Oysters, & Bacon-Wrapped Dates at the Bar were delicious & priced reasonably! We’ll definitely come back for Happy Hour!!!

This is one of only two places in the Venetian-Palazzo complex that I recommend to my friends. Its a great meal, every time.

Delicious selection of Tapas. We are big fans of Sushi Samba and, although more comfort food is on the menu, Sugarcane will be a favorite go to as well. So glad we found it!

Great food and service but pretty pricey. We spent $400 and the food was great but honestly I’d rather swing down to Delmonicos for the same price. But the ambience and service were very good and we got to see some old friends.

A must when in Vegas. Phenomenal service, a different pop of flavor with every bite. Great ambiance and fabulous decor! Large space broken down into intimate niches. Great music.

Attended for New Years Eve. No (zero) complaints. 9pm reservation and we were seated in a quaintly located booth. Brandon was friendly, knowledgable and attentive. Had the New Years Eve special and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the deserts.(and the rum, of course)

Service, food and drinks were all terrific. Only downside were the high prices which exist at most restaurants in Vegas. Would definitely go back!

I don’t think they have enough server because we have to wait for a long time. The food was just ok. The fried chicken nuggets was only flour, you barely can taste the chicken. For $24 on the scallops dish, they only give you 2 scallops.
The rib-eye steak was cold.
Will not return again.

I had read mixed reviews about Sugarcane, but decided to go ahead and book our Anniversary dinner there. The menu was limited so we opted for the sliders, grilled shrimp, lettuce wedge and a salad. We ordered a bottle of wine with the meal.
The portions, although we knew were tapas style were minuscule. The dishes were tasteless and the prices outrageous.
Needless to say, we will not be returning.

We are staying at the Venetian so it was close and the menu looked good. We were greeted right away and drinks came out quickly. This is tapas style which we love. They had a club style DJ and the music was very loud and not our style; nothing seemed to fit the type of restaurant/menu. Food came out quickly, amazing service but the food was mediocre. The skirt steak overly salted, chicken ok, the empanadas bland. We had just come from the Dorsey and the empanadas there were amazing. After paying our check and leaving most of our food uneaten we went across the way to Yardbirds where the saved the night.
Amazing service but the ambiance and food will prevent us from going back.

Not sure which was better the food or the service. The service was not only knowledgeable but also very attentive but bot overbearing. Overall the foods was outstanding, I recommend the duck with waffles right after the bone marrow topped with beef cheek marmalade. The dish that did not work out in the kitchen (happens everywhere from time to time), was promptly removed. I only with I had room to sample more dishes. Oh well, guess I'll have to come back.

We’ve eaten at a lot of Vegas restaurants and in other major cities. The service was great. the food was good but not amazing for the prices. This is known as a raw bar but my tuna tartar was a bit chewy. Not as good of a cut of tuna as I would expect. The goat cheese croquettes were great and the sweet potato was grilled well but a little dry. We added butter and salt and it was much better. Again, not bad but not up to what we expected for the location and price.

Service was fantastic. Waiter made great recommendations and we loved everything we tried. Some of our favorite dishes were the lamb chops, ceviche, waffles + duck, and lobster roll. Was an expensive evening, but worth it. Delicious!

SugarCane Raw Bar & Grill is easily one of our absolute favorite restaurants in Vegas. Their food is consistently intriguing and delicious. We also love their handcrafted cocktails.
On this trip we ordered the yellowtail crudo, the corn and shrimp soup (AMAZING), the bone marrow, and the duck and waffle. Everything we ordered was exceptional.
Our go to cocktails are the Strawberry Balsamic (so good) and the Tobacco Rum Old Fashioned.
Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations.
We will always come back here whenever we are in Vegas! Highly recommend!

A delicious option for tapas - we had the lamb, octopus, stuffed dates and tuna. Everything was excellent - we had to order seconds on the dates because they were out of this world! Service was prompt and friendly without being too distracting. The restaurant decor is really lovely too - I would definitely return to this place.

Great tapas and helpful server. We had a great time at Sugarcane. We got there at 5 so that we could catch a 7 pm show. Fortunately, it was pretty empty and quiet at that time. It looks like it could be hopping later in the evening. Our server, Lonnie, was very helpful. We had the bacon-wrapped dates, scallops, and corn, and they were all terrific. It's a rum bar and I tried the beet rum drink, which I liked.

The place is fun and enjoy. We ordered the octopus, duck fried rice, bacon wrapped dates, scallops, Asian short ribs. We loved everything except for the short ribs which we felt were too sweet. The dates were absolutely fantastic, the octopus was tender and delicious. The rice was unctuous and rich and tremendously delicious.

Our server Lowell was attentive, fun and made our first dining experience at Sugarcane a very memorable one. Loved his recommendations for the duck and waffles and pig ear pad Thai!! My favorites were the bacon wrapped dates and spicy corn.

The hostess and mgr was also very attentive and friendly to us. We just loved everything about this place. The ambiance, food and service was top notch.

Billed as a tapas type restaurant but the portions were much bigger than is typical for tapas. Not necessarily a bad thing just fair warning. Quality was good but overall, there are better choices in the immediate area.
