Mother’s Day brunch for my mom- we were served last night’s pork belly leftovers, very stale. She ordered French toast and I ordered PB&J French toast. Hers had blueberry sauce on it. Mine only had peanut butter and strawberry slices. It seemed the cook confused the dishes and neither were correct.

Ordered the avocado toast meal was luke-warm. Toast was soggy and included a peanut butter like spread of avocado. That was topped with over easy egg and sprinkled with what I think was hard chewy pork belly bits. The avocado had a acidic lemon flavor most likely to prevent blackening of the spread. I did not like the meal. My wife had a breakfast burrito with breakfast potatoes. Her meat was warm and she enjoyed it.

We had 6:30 reservations and were seated promptly. The server took our drink order and we ordered our apps. 20 minutes later, he came back pressing us to order the main. I pointed out I didn’t even have my drink yet but he said the kitchen gets backed up so we went ahead and ordered the main. App came - fried green tomatoes. They were great. My drink came. Then we waited and waited for the main-filet. The waiter stopped by and volunteered that there was some snafu in the kitchen. Our steaks came. He asked that we cut into it to make it was properly prepared. They were both rare not medium rare but we said we’d eat rather than wait. He never came back or was within sight when we looked for him to tell him both of our steaks and all our sides were ice cold when we got them. He said he was sorry. We ordered a dessert which he said he wouldn’t charge us for. Overall, the food was delicious (I just had my leftover filet for lunch). They seem to have communication issues or something. Or maybe they are just understaffed. Probably won’t go back.

Went for brunch and eggs came out cold!! Service was terrible and food was not even warm. Would not recommend. Was so excited to dine here with my daughter and highly disappointed

We tried Sugarbacon for brunch this past weekend and were highly pleased. Everything from the food to service to the flying pig on the wall was outstanding! Chris, our server, was extremely attentive and very good at his job. We plan to try again for a dinner date now, and I look forward to it.

Great Food but with wine, it's overpriced for the ambiance, etc. The Sugar Bacon appetizer was interesting. The wine selection is better-known California wines but overpriced compared to some other restaurants.

My server Raphael was fantastic, he knew the menu very well and recommended me some great drinks. I had a Purple Haze and it was different but very delicious my husband had a old fashion which he enjoyed. Highly recommend going here for a nice date night.

The service was just ok. We waited almost 10 minutes for someone to even come take a drink order. The crab cake was ok. My husband’s steak was WAY undercooked. The charcuterie board included weirdly sliced cooked sausage and ricotta cheese. Very odd. We won’t go back.

Short ribs were delicious. Shrimp and grits were good. The crab cake was amazing. But the sugar bacon was not what I expected. Drinks were good, but pricey.

Medium-well turn out to be over well done. Brussels sprouts are pretty much crispy burn. Although Brussels sprouts were removed from the bill, overall experience in this restaurant was not enjoyable. didn’t much enjoy dinner.

First, this place is very small. We had a reservation but since we had 6 instead of 5 they couldn’t seat us, so we had to get on the wait list. We waited 30 min, then sat at a nice table. We ordered an appetizer that never came, then our salads came out at the same time as our meal. I would have liked to enjoy my salad before my meal. The food was good.

We had breakfast to celebrate my sons 21st birthday. Our waitress was Zoey and she gave us excellent service. She described different items on the food and drink menu. She was very attentive to our table. She was just a very nice person. Sometimes it’s hard to get excellent service when you go out to restaurants. If you go check out this restaurant you must ask for Zoey!

The food service and drinks were awesome. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We had the Filet and NY strip cooked to perfection and very tasty. Great little place stop by and check it out.

My wife and I tried Sugarbacon for date night. The restaurant was busy, good sign! We are holding fast to dry January, what is wrong with us! Our waiter, TJ came by, we ordered our drinks along with apps of deviled eggs and the Sugarbacon. Both were very good and set the tone for dinner. Service was excellent and TJ checked in on us regularly. We ordered the Tacos and the shrimp & grits. Dinner arrived in a timely manner. The only critique is the dinner was bland compared to the apps. Well, my wife had heat from the Serrano peppers but not a lot of flavor. My shrimp and grits needed some additional help. Herbs, acid and salt would make this dish. The apps really made the dinner instead of the entrees. The ambiance of the restaurant would lend itself more to a lunch/dinner of friends where you can be loud and animated in your meal discussions. Not ideal for more intimate occasions. Overall, the service was excellent, the food was inconsistent and the ambiance is well suited for a night outs with friends. I wish I could comment on the drinks but maybe next time.

Most of our food was excellent, but to receive undercooked potatoes was a disappointment. I would say duck was just on the "too done" side, but the bone in pork chop and the short ribs was terrific. We'll be going back.
