We had the BEST time at sugar factory celebrating my birthday! Ian was the absolute best!! He was attentive and had an awesome attitude! He truly
Made the experience at SF Tampa unforgettable!!
I’m so disappointed with this visit for my adult daughter’s birthday. Our service was disgraceful. We had to ask for everything & they forgot 3 drinks. My son’s milkshake he ordered when we ordered our food came right before we were about to walk out the door. I mean, we asked for ketchup 3 times & none ever came. Literally every adult at the table has some form of issue with their food, drinks, etc. one waitress didn’t ask & filled a glass of sprite with water. I could list all the issues but you would be here 10 minutes reading it. I came here a year ago & it was fun & dancing. Nobody danced, music was fair. Drinks are overpriced for what they are worth but that is also part of the experience. Would have recommended in 2020, Definitely not in 2021.
Food was mediocre. And not great for the price. Chicken and waffles were very basic.
Reservation for 10:30 was not served until 11:40. Server was great and so was the food when it finally arrived.
Horrible food they ran out of food and gave me something else without even asking not worth it at all way to over priced and over hyped
Overall solid experience. Drinks were as advertised( wife had the Watermelon patch which was very good).Food was ok. Service was average at best, could be improved. Also noticed the kitchen was way behind on orders this particular evening. We will more then likely go back to give it another try.
Great food and great service. No beer available but we made it through.
Get your wallet ready. For those prices they should have at least thrown in the glass. 37 dollars for a drink. Crappy food that was so so so expensive. The only thing sort of worth it. The desert. 100 fir twelve scoops of ice cream. A couple of donuts and and some toys from the dollar tree. Do yourself a favor. Pick somewhere else to go. 500 dollars later my kid said she had an ok birthday there. We could have gone to Disney
The atmosphere was nice and the food was decent. My only complaint is the timeframe it took us to receive what we ordered. They did make up for the service by offering us a free drink, dessert and candy for the kids. If you are looking for a fun live place to dine then this is it.
I’ve been to Sugar Factory’s before and definitely locations busier than this one. However, the hosts were pleasant and fun; the server was nice but not attentive at all. The service was awful. Our food came out before our drinks. The shakes were ordered at the same time and they never came. One of the meals (fettuccine) never arrived. We finished the other meals and the server still had not figured out our food and shakes were missing. HORRIBLE!!!!
The server was great, the food is very overpriced. I went 2 years ago and for 5 dollars you could add on whatever song you wanted and big candles. Now they only do it with a giant 100 dollar sundae and as a family of 4 we weren’t gonna do that. I wouldn’t recommend going there.
Arrived for reservation. No host was present for over 20min. Host actually was the manager who actually saw us and others waiting and did not even acknowledge. Finally we were acknowledged and seated a bigger that arrived after us . Although our table that we eventually was seated at was ready. To make matters worse our waitress lost our Amex card which I found on the floor . Horrible experience
The staff was friendly and helpful, and they were able to seat us even before our reservation time!
Had a group of 13 for my daughters 6th birthday. It was a great experience for all. None in our group had ever been.
Great meal. Everything my group had from the salmon salad to the extra cheesy burgers were prepared properly and tasted great.
You have to spend $100 to have them sing and dance for the birthday person, that’s seems a bit excessive. Extremely overpriced for what you get. Small place and it was freezing cold. Not the best experience. Probably would never go back
The food was just OK. Overpriced for what you get. The Sundae and shakes we’re good but also quite overpriced. There were a lot of kids there. Honestly, I felt like I was at Chuck E. Cheese.
Even after having a reservation had to wait for 20-25 mins with a 2yr old and another kid. No apologies or explanation given.
First visit and with small kids not very welcoming. It was our 2yrs old's birthday that we came to celebrate. No songs were to us even after mentioning the bday. But another table had it.
Just not worth coming back not bery welcoming place.
Our server was quite rude few times, forgot a part of my order, the looked at me like I was crazy, and always asked if we needed anything with her back turned to us or walking away. Our milkshake took forever to receive, although the manager did remove from the bill. And the waffle was burned. We came to celebrate a birthday as we had done several previous times, only to learn they don't have a song list to choose from, no one dances, and the Happy Birthday song was so slow and non-energetic, that we didn't even have them sing to my 13 year old. We have decided we will not go back.
Great experience all around but server was definitely overwhelmed.
Food and presentation was excellent! Took about 30 minutes to get our food but it was fairly busy.
It was so lit!!!
Tables are a bit small, expect a lot of birthday celebrations…. I now know what to expect as far as vibe energy and space…
Looking forward to trying out more of the menu!
The drinks, desserts and service are amazing. The aesthetic is always insta worthy. The food tho is sub par, especially for the prices. This is definitely better as a dessert spot or to split a drink and hangout with friends.
Awful, if you’re at the Hardrock in Tampa, FL, DO NOT EAT here.
The place had 1 other couple there when my wife and I walked in with a reservation.
We were seated and waited 15 minutes before the Manager finally asked if we had been waited on, no was the answer. He had to go back to the kitchen twice to get a server to come out to assist us.
My wife ordered the New York Steak Sandwich, it looked like a chopped up steak em you get out of the freezer.
She ate about 1/4 and pushed it away.
I ordered the Pan Roasted Salmon, for $34, it was way over priced, mediocre at best. My Diet Coke smelled and tasted like someone dumped perfume in it.
As a side note to that, the Manager was behind the bar and as our server walked by him, he asked her what perfume she was wearing and they had a little conversation about that.
Whatever happened to customer service training? And why does food you order at restaurants all of a sudden seem like low quality food? Shame on the world famous Sugar Factory for such a disgusting experience!
Experience was great, burgers were cooked the way we asked for them. Shakes are amazing 👏 😍
They tried to sit us on top of other people! And it smelled like wet musky mop! I didn't even stay the first initial was horrible so I left and this was for my birthday
My daughter had her birthday there and had a blast
Not worth it! Way to expensive! We waited weeks for a reservation and only to arrive and get seated outside the restaurant where you can smell smoke from the passerby’s. Way too loud and the food was only mediocre. Won’t be back.
Over all it was ok.. very noisy which was ok , a few kids where celebrating birthdays… service was slow and not attentive. Food was good !
The server never came back to fill our water cups or check on us or offer us any other drinks. The food took a long time to get when it was not busy. The fries were hard almost cold. Just not a pleasant visit. We got tired of waiting on check all walked to register. Manager was nice and apologetic gave us a discount.
Very good good and service.
Need your own bathrooms. Cookie was stale. You need more servers, server had too many tables , slow service, not his fault. Prices were slightly high, but expected.
Grandaughter's birthdays was so much fun!! Grandparents had wonderful time too!!
We went for a birthday celebration, the experience was great however the food and service could have been better. The food choices were average; not vegetarian friendly and there should be more alternative choices for the birthday dessert; here’s an idea cake which would have been an opportunity to turn things around. Thanks but I probably wouldn’t visit again, I can get average food anywhere.
Service was terrible. We placed order and then 5 minutes later was told they were out of most things. This should have been told before we ordered. Sever was overwhelmed couldn’t handle all her tables. Waited 15 minutes just to pay bill.
We went for brunch on a Sunday to celebrate a family birthday. We did make reservations, highly recommended especially if you have a large group. Some of the tables for large groups are really close together and it was a little tricky getting in and out. However, the ambiance was great and everything one would expect from the most “instagrammable” restaurant. Our server was super attentive and I was shocked at how tasty the food was, not just the iconic desserts. Probably the best onion rings I’ve had. Would definitely recommend if you want to create a memorable experience for someone.
Overall great experience! Great way to spend a teen birthday.
JJ & Brandon were absolutely amazing & handled our group event perfectly! This was a great opportunity for my work team to bond & relax as we work with kids with autism our work environment can be sometimes stressing. We appreciate JJ & Brandon's kindness & upbeat personality!
