I came here for my daughters birthday & we had a great time
It took over an hour and speaking to a manager to get our appetizers. Waited another hour for dessert and had to leave without it. In all of that time no one came to check on us or to clear the table. Also, the music was incredibly loud.
Service was very slow. Quality of food does not match price.
I had a reservation for 9:30pm we sat at 9:40pm we ordered around 9:50 and did not get did not get our food until 11:00pm and it was wrong. Just not a great experience.
I can only guess that there are major staffing shortages. Our reservation was for 8:15. We got sat decently quickly, but then we waited for a server for about 30 minutes. Our entire section of about 5 tables was basically neglected the entire 2.5 hours we spent there. The table next to us had been there about an hour and had finally just received their drinks when we were seated 😲 One of our entrees arrived 1/2 hour after ordering, and we hadn't even received our drinks or even a glass of water yet. Drinks finally arrived and our waiter did say we should have received our second entree with the first. We got it eventually. The management was attempting to help all the servers who were in the weeds, but it was a failure at best. This restaurant has great potential, but needs better front of house management, as well as more wait staff. The food and drinks, when we did finally get them, were delicious.
It was such a cute dinner. I really enjoyed it. Everyone was really nice and the food was amazing.
I usually don’t do these reviews however I felt the need to share before you waste your time and money. We went to celebrate my nephews 18th birthday 1st issue my $40 drink had no alcohol and when I told them the sent me a shot of water to add to my drink. 2nd we had ordered a breast cancer shake that was suppose to have a breast cancer ribbon on it the manager brought it out to us and it was just a line. As someone who has lost someone to breast cancer felt it was a slap in the face. Then not to mention we got the wrong order a couple of times and we had to send back our uncooked burgers, and we had to wait at least 20 mins for a glass of water. We had the waiter send over the manager and he was so dismissive. Second time going will definitely be my last I will go all the way to the city next time
It is a very pretty place and overall not bad however it took my party of 6 way too long to even get a server.
When the food came my order was totally wrong (could be that the music was WAY TOO LOUD) and possibly server could not hear the order correctly. My order was corrected but took half an hour and the rest of my party was finished eating. Don't understand that because all I had ordered was club sandwich (basically cold cuts)
Like I said overall the food is good just serving was a little off. The server himself was very nice and did the best he could however the music would go to average volume then out of nowhere to blasting from time to time, very weird.
We celebrated my cousins 21st birthday and it was such a great time! Our server Aaron was amazing. The energy was super great. There is something for everyone in terms of food and drinks!
Very cute and fun restaurant. The decor is very chic. Our server was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the wings, popcorn shrimp, and onion rings appetizers. The kids went wild for the milkshakes, the milkshakes overshadowed their monster burgers. I enjoyed my goblet of raspberry watermelon mojito. The smoking presentation was exciting. Could not finish the tremendous portions but it’s all about the experience.
Absolutely love this location and the staff. It was a great time!
Waiter was overly focused on larger party. We we left unattended for 20 minutes. Waiter was unapologetic. Manager was very helpful and accommodating. Food was mediocre, drinks were pretty good.
Food and drinks are amazing!!
It is a little to loud in there tho
It was great
Food was not good at all. Price of food expensive for the quality and many food items on the menu was not available. Service wasn’t great waited long for cocktails and one person in the group food came out almost as we was leaving.
This restaurant is very understaffed. Took the waiter 45 minutes to bring water to our table and take our order.
Our reservation was for 2:45. We got there at 2:35 didn’t get our food until 430. Our drinks took 40 mins to come. We are appetizers with no water. We then had to wait 10 more minutes for one more entree after waiting 2 hours!! Horrible service.
the food was not worth the price, plus it came to table cold. but the drinks was amazing
We had a very nice server. We wanted to try a goblet drink without alcohol. The service was very nice. The presentation of the drink was amazing! We would definitely come back
Had a 8pm reservation at Resort World Sugar Factory location, we were seat at 8:10pm. It took 20 minutes for someone to come to our table and ask if we were ready to order. I requested 2 glass of water and place our order of appetizer over the extremely loud music that was playing. About 30 mins our cocktails arrived and almost a hour later our appetizer was served. It was a good thing I ask for water because barely able to have a conversation and the long wait that’s all we could do, sip on our water. We place our entree order that took another 45 minutes. The chairs was so uncomfortable my back hurts from where it rest in my lower back. The ladies restroom was out of paper in 2 of the stalls, the floor wet and could cause an accident and the trash can was over flowing with paper. Kids jumping up and down dancing to the music playing. For the price range for food at this establishment a lot of adjustment need to make. I have been to several Sugar Factory location and by far this is the worst. Very disappointed I was looking forward to an enjoyable meal and time, worst I recommend this place to my friend 😩
Cute but service was terrible, waited over an hour for appetizers, 35 mins for ice cream, a total of 3 hours. Very disappointing when you have been to another location and everything was great. This location needs to get it together, it wasn’t even busy. Could of spend my time and money in many other places, this was a waste!!
My family enjoyed the food and drinks.
It was a birthday dinner on Tuesday.
Beautiful atmosphere but not enough staff food took way to long.
The food was no big deal. The calamari was horrible, I had to send it back and tell the chef he should be ashamed of himself.
There was only one server looks like and we couldn't find him half the time our food took like 1 hour to get to us maybe even longer but the atmosphere was nice the music was cool the vibe was cool just the service needs to be better.
Regardless of our reservations we still had to wait 20 mins to be seated, Location has a great ambience, very loud music. Service was poor, we waited nearly 45 mins for our appetizers and drinks. When our drinks came only two were served. We had to wait 15 mins to get the rest of our drinks. After an hour and half we still haven’t been served our main food order. At that point we got up and left. This is the worst restaurant experience I ever had! Never again will I visit the sugar factory.
Food was good and drinks great but even checking in with reservation had to wait and had to actively search for waiter since no one was checking in on us
Waited about 25 minutes for server to take my order. Server forgot to bring some of the food I ordered. Server was pleasant for the most part.
The food was quite good as we went for brunch but unfortunately the service was quite slow and there was only 2 tables when we arrived. The restaurant was understaffed not sure if by choice or hiring issues but only 3 visible staff members for the whole restaurant which included the manager. If they are able to resolve this issue i would recommend but until then expect to wait a long time for your food
Restaurant looks very nice, probably the best looking Sugar Factory in NYC
I’ve Been to sugar factory several times but it was my first time at this new location in Queens, NY. I ordered my favorite drink which is the White Gummi Goblet but that is not what the waiter served me. I asked him if he got the order wrong but he insisted that it was correct (Lies) instead I received something that was orange flavored & tasted like Emergency C vitamin C. Also, my Shrimp penne Alfredo was overcooked. Overall, the ambiance is beautiful but I may not return.
Worse experience ever, it took 40 mins for our drinks and an hour and a half to get our food. I asked to speak with management but no one came and they charged full price with out modifying the bill due to the wait on food.
when doing birthdays they could take a lesson from the orlando store and do it up more with songs spoon noise and all team members singing
This was my first time at the Sugar Factory in Queens and my experience was great. Good atmosphere and service.
I didn’t get why the service was so bad if it was so slow in the restaurant. Food was also cold.
It's was fantastic. Service was excellent, food was worth the money.
The food is price too high. The dessert was price okay just because of the presentation
gorgeous ambiance but the food was nothing special and the service was very disorganized.
Love the ambience and the food. We ate there for breakfast twice and once for dinner during our visit. The breakfast service is more attentive but there are fewer people for breakfast. The food and drinks are decadent unlike anything I have seen elsewhere. I will definitely be back.
Horrible service. Was very un-at tentative and rushed us out.
