Waiters where extremely busy with parties but one amazing waitress came and took care of my table. Very knowledgeable and fun!!! First time visiting and will be back 😃
I went to celebrate my daughter’s 17th birthday. When we arrived they didn’t have our reservation and never found it but seated us anyway. Once our orders were put in we were told my daughter had to order something else because they were out of seafood platters. We waited over an hour for our food. When my guest arrived we request additional silverware because there wasn’t enough, which we had to request to more times before received it (15 minutes after our food came). One persons fries were cold. We had to ask several times for salt, pepper and ketchup. Then my daughter order d a brownie ice cream sandwich which once the order was placed someone came back and said they didn’t have that either. The final straw was the random song that was played even though she had requested a different song. She was disappointed to say the least.
Sugar Factory - Pentagon City was dirty and the food wasn't even prepared as ordered or as described on the menu. Case in point, my South Beach Flair burger ordered medium came well done and dry. Extra dry because the Chipotle mayo, chinichurri, and caramelized onions were non existent. Oh, it had a few crispy onion scraps though lol. When the waiter informed the manager, he chose not to speak with us and instead told the waiter to just take it off the bill.
I understand that the location is new however this is a chain restaurant therefore service training should be the same. I will not return until service has improved
Service was slow and my husband asked for a root beer float and instead was served a cocktail root beer float. They also ran out of vanilla ice cream so I wasn’t able to get the sundae that I wanted. The music was really loud not the place to go if you want to have a conversation. However, some of the staff members did come over to say happy birthday to me which was fun, and I liked the martini that I got and my food wasn’t bad. I’d probably give this place another try.
My siblings & I drove from Middle River, MD to this location to celebrate my sister's birthday & we had a HORRIBLE experience. Everything was unorganized & in disarray because no one appeared to know whose tables were whose. We had to go to the hostess stand in order to get a waitress/waiter to come to our table. We couldn't order sodas because their carbonation machine was broken nor could we order lemonade, all they had was sweet tea which was nothing but water. After waiting over an hour for what was suppose to be burgers, turkey clubs & chicken sandwiches, the wrong food was brought out to us, not to mention the french fries & my brothers steak & potatoes were cold as ice. The manager finally came over to speak to us & let us know everything was being freshly made, well needless to say when my second plate came out, my chicken was not all the way cooked. The manager told us he would take a percentage off the bill & what could he do to help, so my brother said to just give us an ice cream sundae because there's no way you can go wrong with ice cream right?? Wrong, the only flavors they had was chocolate & strawberry & the sundae we ordered is not what we actually received. We were so disappointed because the overall experience was the worst ever.
Made a reservation for 4 pm didn’t get seen until 4:30 , they didn’t know who I waiter was , food was cold . Overall bad service
Horrible they charge a $35 cake fee and on top of that $5 to play your choice of songs they lie on the menu brunch is over at 3pm not 4pm smh never again ruined my bday experience
I was running a little late on our reservation. I called ahead to let the restaurant know and I was told that there would be a 15 minute grace period. The grace period is strict so please keep that in mind. Once we arrived, the hostess was on the phone with a customer, however, she never acknowledged us and we stood there for about 10 ,minutes until another staff member came to acknowledge us. Once we were seated, we ordered apps and drinks. The apps came out before our drinks. In total we waited for 40 minutes for drinks while we already had our food. Had my fiance not ask for a manager, we would have probably waited even longer for our drinks. I would have understood if the restaurant was packed , however, that was not the case. The food was good so no complaints there. The atmosphere was good as well but the service was awful. It shouldn't have taken 40 minutes for drinks. Also, we were there for my daughter's birthday. I made sure to let our waitress know once we were seated that it was my daughter's birthday so they can do a special birthday song for her. It seemed that our waitress forgot because we had to remind her on more than once occasion. All in all, aside from the terrible service, everything else was actually pretty decent.
The place was nice. Service was not the best. It was my first time going and took for ever for my drinks to come out. Plus they ran out of appetizers and didn’t inform us to 30 min after we order them. They never inform us that one drink was meant for two people. The hamburger were overly tough. It a great concept restaurant but I do not think they have the right execution system at pentagon city. Plus it was my cousin birthday and my waitress didn’t play music and dance she forgot. Great concept of the restaurant idea but poorly executed.
