Went for my sons birthday. We got two steak sandwiches for the adults and they were really bad- steak was wierdly cooked so some was fine and others were half raw (not been warmed up properly maybe?) bread stale/over cooked and it was dry. Milkshakes however were amazing. So I’d probably go back and just not eat any actual food! Service was a bit slow although the supervisor seemed very nice and checked in on us regularly.
Our reservation made it quick to get seated. Food was good. Desserts were great and over the top! Kids loved it. Not something we would do often but as a special treat it was fun!
The food was overpriced and terrible! The milkshakes were great. The server gave up food and drinks and we didn’t see her much after that. The order was wrong and the chicken tasted toxic. We asked for a birthday song for my daughter and they forgot about it. Then they said for 5 dollars they could do it. We will not be going back, horrible experience!
A little pricey, but I felt it was worth it. Food was good. Milkshakes were outrageous! Kids loved them! Staff were all attentive and curtious. Definitely will go again.
Possible new service and support staff. It took a long time to get a spoon or anything else needed.
It was so fun! The drinks were great, our server was the best, and we had a blast!
Food was very bad, everything else was fine. Just really expensive for bad food.
Very messy- all mirrors dirty. Sprinkles and food all over the floor. Waitress forgot our waters and was very inattentive. Cookies w/ meal were rock hard and chicken tenders were not cooked all the way.
First of all the waitress was great not her fault at all. The place had a horrible smell I believe from the cleaner they use and they were terribly understaffed. The bartender had to help the 1 and only waitress with tables no manager to be found which in my opinion should have helped. We got my son his first drink there with the dry ice and the waitress brought over the glass filled with the ice dry ice and candy the bartender, who was helping wait tables, didn’t get our drink made for about another 20-25 mins when the waitress finally brought it over the ice was all melted into the dry ice and barely a fizzle of smoke came from it, definitely not the wow factor we are use to and wanted my son to get his first time here. The waitress did she offer to remake it, but we were already halfway through our food and had waited long enough and needed to get on the road back home as we were out of town. For the price of the drink and the smells and the so so food quality on top of a very disappointing experience for my son’s promotion celebration I do not feel I will return to this location again
Service was horrible
Greeted with a smile, our server was amazing. Best milkshakes ever had. Would go back for the shakes and possibly the drinks.
The service was quite slow which was likely due to a staff shortage. The food was good but the specialty milkshake was amazing! A fun place!
Delicious drinks 🤩 delicious food!!! Ambiance was wonderful!! Overall amazing way to celebrate someone🥳
Was just okay and way over priced the kids enjoy it but the shakes come with stale items
It was super cool. I ordered one of the goblet drinks and was amazed. It was all soooo good.
Staff was rushing my party to order, wouldn’t serve me until the other two came for the reservation. They told us we had two mins to order and then the food was eh. The steak was blah and the lobster. The mash potatoes had no taste. They were also cleaning around us and making a lot of noise. The service is the worst.
Staff was really friend and helpful. It’s definitely a special occasion place but fun, memorable and worth the little extra for this rare visit.
whole crew was very unprofessional. food was okay. got 20% from the bs i went through. wouldnt recommend.
Cool experience with several outstanding items, especially the specialty desserts. Some food was good but not superlative. Price was a little high overall yet not super crazy. Service was not as attentive as I'm accustomed to, but everyone was helpful.
Kids loved it.
The drinks we ordered well before dinner never arrived so we asked the server to cancel our drink order, she brought the drinks anyway and told us she would remove them from our bill. When we got home we realized she had charged us for them anyway. Our fault for not checking the itemized bill more thoroughly before we left. The food was cold and mediocre at best. The restaurant was very very loud, difficult to carry on conversation. The birthday singing to the kids was great, but they charge you $5 per each kid to do it.
We arrived earlier than expected and they happily worked us in! Very helpful! The food is always great!
We were very disappointed 😞.
We made reservations for our daughters birthday. Front staff or waitress did not pay any attention to that. We were greeted with a very unwelcoming vibe with the hostess pressing us over the question whether all of our party was present or not.
Wait staff appeared to be worn out and but very friendly.
Decor was pretty but the location of the restaurant is much to busy.
Service was but good at all.
They served someone extremely foul smelling fish near us.
Menu way over priced for the quality.
We had a great experience. Our waitress a nice young lady made it even better. Wish I could remember her name. Will come back for sure.
Staff was so nice even though they were (or appeared to be) short staffed. Everyone was friendly and attentive.
Didn't wait terribly long for food or drinks.
We have visited the Sugar Factory in Atlanta previously however this was our first visit to the one at Mall of America. My daughter was upset to learn they didn’t have the rainbow pancakes at this location so I had to run and get her Chick fil a while the rest of us ate from your establishment. I didn’t realize that my daughter had placed her box of food on the table and the manager (unsure of name, was from Mississippi) informed us that she would need to put the food down immediately and she wouldn’t ask us to leave on this visit. A simple whisper to myself and I would’ve corrected the situation, instead she made it know in front of all my children and my daughter has cried since we left. She reports that she no longer wants to visit your establishment because she was embarrassed for being told of the possibility to leave. The manager could’ve had more tact regarding the situation however now due to this one incident we will no longer be frequenting this establishment which is a shame. This manager was completely unprofessional and I didn’t address the issue because I didn’t want my children to think it was a bigger deal. I wish someone would address the situation with the manager and she needs additional training to be in the position she currently holds. For us to spend upwards of $200 each visit, the attitude of the manager is unacceptable. Again if she mentioned to me directly and quietly I would’ve corrected the situation. Our server on the other hand was perfect but we couldn’t leave this place quick enough.
Over priced and not very good food.. but the malts were cute and a fun experience for my daughters birthday.. I wouldn’t go back ..
Our waitress was great, the food was great and my kids loved the Smoking drink, the colored burgers and their dessert. Super fun experience. So nice to be able to make a reservation!!
The food was horrible but the drinks were amazing
it was my daughters bday. I spoke to the host, explaining to him abt the special bday. long story short. my daughter got a candle, no song no firecracker. very disappointing
Daughters 6th birthday
Sugar factory is a must eat in diner and place to have fun and enjoy yourself
Super slow service but friendly. It took 20 min to get our beverages. Food and drinks were great!
Checked out Sugar Factory since we had a Social Living deal. I had the Cajun chicken penne pasta. My husband had the Club sandwich. We both enjoyed our ,ears. Mudslide martini was also tasty. Will definitely go back again. It was not busy and staff was very friendly.
We ordered drinks and an app. While waiting on 1 more in our party before we ordered dinner. Our waitress dropped off our check without asking if we wanted anything else. We felt very unwelcome so we paid our tab and left.
Waited one hour for our food, the music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talking, they never came around to refill our cups. Even thou I made reservations they still had us wait for our party to come before being seated but we had to stand with no waiting area. Overall I’d never eat at that location again. Went for a birthday celebration terrible experience...3/10
We were greeted by Camil who was smiling and friendly. We had a last minute add on to our reservation and she accommodated it with a smile even know I am sure it created a situation for her as we had a large group. Olivia was our server and she was a BLAST! We were celebrating my Mom's 69th birthday with the KING KONG sunday and it felt like she was having as much fun as we were! Thank you for the great experience and great service. xo
I’ve been to other Sugar Factory’s and the MOA could use some pointers from locations like Miami etc. When I go to restaurants like Sugar Factory it’s not just for the food but a complete experience....service being the top of the list then food and ambiance.
