Slow service. Ended up leaving even before we could order drinks
I expected so much more. Definitely did not meet my expectations. The food was extremely expensive and did not taste good at all. I never mind paying for expensive food but it needs to be good. The drink that was $46 tasted like Arizona drink. Very basic for $46. The waiter was allover the place and not to attentive. The bathrooms were gross. For as much money as they charged the tables were peeled off and old. Looked like a run down place. I will never go again and waist my time or money. Place looked dirty and old.
No, would not recommend . Waste of time and money.
Perfect .. had. A great time for my birthday .. will be Back ... awesome
Staff was not entertaining. And food wasn’t good
They changed locations of the restaurant. It’s more in the middle of ocean dr. Waite staff was friendly but the hostess ladies inside had nasty attitudes. After going to the SF in Atl I said it wasn’t the same from the one in Miami. Now after trying them again and at least a my 7 time being in Miami SF. The food has gone down a lot. The Mac and cheese balls are nasty not the same recipe as it was years ago. They are smaller, dry and taste like they were frozen. Alfredo sauce was broken and extremely limited on my plate. I ordered the Drake for my drink didn’t taste alcohol at all. I just want them to go back to the OG SF.
The food has no flavor the drink was over priced for the amount given , overall won’t be back. Nice concept but not worth the travel time.
First, it took 25 minutes for us to ask someone for a server. The roof was leaking on our table and the table was moving so badly, there was no way our food would sit. So they “fixed” our table half way and then walked away. Said nothing about the water leaking and still NO SERVER. at this point, I got up and got someone. Appetizer (spinach dip) was okay. I’ve had much better. Really disappointing because I wanted it to be creamy and work over $15. Then I got my beverage. $45 is WAYYYYYYYY TOO EXPENSIVE. IM TELLING YOU. TRUST ME. I’m a bartender and barely any alcohol and all juices. You pay for the candy, experience, and the “dry ice affect”. It’s so unfortunate that the service was HORRIBLE, terrible atmosphere, dirty bathrooms, no sanitation was happening and terrible burger. $100 for one meal, one drink, and one appetizer. They add 20% automatically even with it being completely horrible. Never. Again.
It’s good, drinks were kind of weak.
Burgers was dry and not seasoned. But overall the drinks was fantastic and so was the service.
Loved it the food was fresh and the vibe was right
My experience was great but
Overall - the Miami Sugar Factory is a decent experience and the food is great! If you are looking for upscale in South Beach, head to Gianni’s. This is more of a laid back casual atmosphere.
We arrived at 8:05 for a 8:15 reservation and were not seated until 8:40. This was due to the rain and people being moved inside. All reservations were “delayed” by 20 minutes we were told.
We’ve been to the Orlando SF as well as the newest one in Tampa. This location is lackluster in our opinion. The dark back corner booth we were put in had ripped cushions and my seat was covered in a sticky residue that got all over my dress and arm. The decor was minimal compared to other locations but we chalked it up due to possibly trying to preserve the integrity of the hotel it now occupied.
The food is always top notch which is why the good out weighs the bad and the high price! We weren’t starving and we came mostly for the desserts to celebrate our daughters birthday. We got burgers and a steak sandwich all which were fantastic. The desserts were hands down AMAZING! The Campfire Milkshake and the Cookie Jar Sundae were a must and I highly recommend.
Lastly, curfew was in place so we felt a little rushed. Not their fault at all. We got our food and immediately had to order dessert. Side note, they do add 20% service fee and we asked the waiter if that was the tip and he didn’t really answer that clearly so we left an additional cash tip. You can tell he was pushed to the limit with tables so we didn’t mind leaving him a little extra. But a clear explanation would have been great for people not from the area.
The manager Jessica was very accommodating & friendly. Server named Oriana did a great job as well. Jessica and the team impressed us. Bravo.
Customer service sucks. Waitress didn’t check on us, gratuity is included so I guess good service is not mandatory.
Food and venue were great. Staff could’ve been a little more available and nicer . Felt rushed at times
I called to let the restaurant know that we were running 8-10 minutes late for lunch. It was my daughters birthday and we had this reservation for several weeks. The girl answering the phone, who claimed that she was one of the managers, was SO rude, saying “yeah, it’s everybody’s birthday. If you’re not here within 5 minutes of your reservation, we’ll give your table away. No exceptions. IF we have seating available outside, you can sit out there. We don’t hold nobody’s table!” Wow.... this is how you speak to customers??!
I had read the reviews on this place and was very concerned, but my daughter and her friends really wanted to go there. The reviews about the unprofessionalism, rudeness, and blatant lack of service are valid. Would not go back.
This was my 2nd time eating at this Sugar Factory. Food and drinks are great here.
Amazing experience our waiter Alex was perfect!
The glass was filthy they served my son water in. Upon telling the waitress she said, “sorry” & nothing was done about. I took pictures
Great place to go! The food taste really good and the prices match the quality. The drinks are also good. It was my friends birthday and they came to sing to her with a sparkle and free ice cream.
Daughter 16th Birthday
I like this place.,the food & ambience is always at good time high ..
Very nice chill spot. Food was excellent. Very good customer service
Customer service was great and the food garnish was impressive, however, they should invest in fans for outside sitting; comfort of the guests should remain in mind, since the price is hefty for the meals consumed. The noise level is loud due to the bar next door, not the establishment’s fault.
I loved the cool smoking drink, but felt like I paid 100x more for the quality of food I get at Cracker Barrel. Problem won’t go again for that reason. But the rainbow pancakes were really pretty!!
it definitely needs more lighting outside because i like to see my food , very low lighting and very hot ... needs fans
Was on honeymoon in Orlando. The Sugar Factory in Orlando was booked so we drove over 3 hrs to Miami. Due to COVID, they had sat up outside in the street. It was extremely hot, milky, food was overpriced to me and I'm still trying to figure out why my bull was over $80 when I had one alcoholic drink $22 & shrimp fettuccine $25 & water (free). Never will go here again
Due to COVID-19 we had to be seated outside(understandable). But the inside was so cute. The food was delicious and the drinks were large you can share one.
It’s extremely too hot to sit outside and enjoy your food without any fans. The experience didn’t feel the same due to renovations and Covid-19.
Love it, will return. The staff was nice and professional. I really enjoyed my meal and the price was right.
I love itttttt! I had to add another shot of alcohol to my drink because it tasted watered down/juicey but the manager was veryyyyy nice and energetic about the whole situation. Definitely a place you need to visit when you go to Miami.
Didnt enjoy it
Some music would’ve helped with the ambiance. It was just too quiet, not enough of the SoFlo beach vibe.
Service was terrible, food took so long to come out. sitting outside with no fans and next to a sewer. Way overpriced
This is definitely a one and done type of restaurant. Definitely overpriced.
Over priced And over rated and they have to many hidden fees I will never go again
everything was reallly good
Because of COVID, everyone had to sit outside and it started to rain so everyone ran in with their food (what they could carry) and were jammed in a small space. We are a family of 5 and they would only seat 3 at a table so our kids had to sit separately. The food was good but extremely pricey and when we received the bill, some of the charges were not as advertised on the menu. The restrooms were not clean at all, rather disgusting! We will not eat here again.
