Sugar Factory - Foxwoods
It was great!
Waitress was very slow and ignored us a lot of the time. And when I was explaining I’m splitting the bill she cut me off and said we don’t split bills here but the bill down and walked away. Very rude.
We were barely looked at while we were there. The prices were insane for a meal and a drink I spent over $50!
Obnoxiously loud music, good luck trying to talk to your fellow diners.
The first time the restaurant lights flashed for a birthday was kind of fun. The fourth time, not so much.
The Buffalo chicken sandwich was served on a stale bun. The chicken breast was tiny and about a 1/4in thick, likely thawed and refried from a freezer bag.
The cocktails were sickly sweet, one was enough. Never eating here again.
Food is expensive but good. Service was terrible, 5 different people came to our table yet no napkins, no water, and "you're bothering me" attitude. Some people get huge round booths, some a tiny table, squuezed next together. We had a reservation, were willing to wait for a both yet still got a tiny table. It was impossible to order more than 1 item, or to share things.
Food was undercooked, didn’t have enough flavor. Never again
We enjoyed our breakfast there this weekend. Service was really slow despite the fact that the restaurant was empty.
Waitstaff not attentive. Had to make several follow up requests of order.
I would recommend this restaurant to a raucous crowd. What I did NOT like about this experience was the flashing lights. This was very hard for my family as we have two individuals that have epilepsy so strobe-type lights are NOT good as they can trigger seizures. Also, my grandson had to be removed from the restaurant as the dark was very scary for him during the strobe light experiences.
Little loud for my taste but overall Great Experience
Had a yummy meal and delicious drink. Always a good time.
Food was good. Restaurant is definitely loud but fun! Prices on drinks are high but you get a huge drink and they are also a lot of fun! We will definitely go back!
Just want to say thank you for having my daughters 13th birthday party there and for making her feel special. The whole experience went just as we thought it would. She did not want a part, but all she wanted was to have us take her there with 5 of her closest friends. Thank you again for the great service.
Love it! Great food, great service, great value! I will absolutely more often.
Seated so quickly. Nice atmosphere. Food and drinks came out in less than 25 minutes. Barely any wait. The service was great. Nice and kind servers. You won’t be disappointed with anything
Desserts and specialty drinks were awesome(though very overpriced). Food was awful- would not go back to eat a full meal, just dessert.
11 year olds birthday! So fun!
Awful experience. Waiter was sick that’s disgusting. Waited forever for food then it was wrong. TWICE
maybe get a pen and write the orders down!
Costs $20 extra for flashing lights and server to come out with a birthday dessert of whip cream topped with a candle
So glad we made reservations because it was so busy. The staff, food and drinks where amazing. It was my daughter‘s birthday and they made her feel so special. She loved it.
Definitely I recommend this place worth every dollar.
Our waiter was horrible. Manager had to come take order.
I asked for medium burger and got a burnt burger. Waiter took so long to come back just didnt eat more than 2 bites. But after being there for 1.5 hour didnt want to wait.
Lights flickering on and off for Bday celerbrations 7 times in that 1.5 hour gave me a headache.
Excellent service, delicious food great drinks and will definitely return!!!
Out waitress was less than impressive. We had to ask several other people for things such as napkins, drink refills as she seldom came back. She was very prompt when she saw the credit cards ready to pay the bill. The prices are high but was expected. The food was good but when a server brought our burgers he didn’t know which was medium and which was well done. He went to kitchen to ask and in the meantime we cut into the burgers and found them both to be maybe medium.
Tables are pretty close together, food is not great for the prices! Drinks were good. Ordered an app and two meals (French toast and a burger ) and 2 of the cheaper drinks and we paid over $100. Probably a 1 time thing for us.
Great vibe.. service took some time but overall worth it ..
We had a goodnight. The kids like the drinks.
Overpriced subpar food and experience. Will not be back.
The manager was so kind I believe her name was Liz. I was late to my reservations due to traffic and she still managed to get my party a table. Our waiter was also amazing!
They have the best milkshake I've ever tasted, however the food was barely mediocre. Get a shake to go and you'll be happy. Otherwise it's incredibly overpriced for what they are trying to be. Not only that but if your going to pay 20.00 for a burger you don't want to be surrounded by ill mannered children. So I guess the place is a win for people that are not foodies.
It’s the last day of February vacation so we thought we’d do something fun for lunch. A 90 minute drive is pretty long just for lunch but we had heard good things, so we were up for the adventure and a chance to put a smile on the face of our 3 teens. We made a reservation for 1:30. We were seated within 10 minutes.
Initially things went well and our 3 girls ordered 2 goblets to share...out of sharks, no problem. It took a little longer than expected for drinks to arrive, maybe 10 minutes, but not awful. Ordered apps and entrees at the same time...more waiting, maybe 15 minutes for rainbow sliders and a Caesar salad. Apps were cleared and food arrived shortly after and my husband ordered a soda with his meal. I had water.
Food was just OK. $17 for a plate of gluten free pasta with garlic butter is ludicrous and was not enjoyed, the big cheese burger was fine, the omelette was tiny served with 2 overcooked sausage. The bacon bleu cheese burger (ordered with no bleu cheese and no mushrooms) had bleu cheese on it at one point as it was still caked into the bacon and evidently scraped off and the some pink was very pink. I had the Chinese chicken salad which was average and served with cold chicken.
We may have mentioned some of this but did not see our server again until we were done eating. He cleared some plates and came back with to go containers for the burgers. Water and soda was never refilled. He came back a few minutes later and we asked for the dessert menu. 10 minutes passed while we waited for the menu. We took a quick look but had lost the desire to wait any longer as it was now 3:10. At 3:20 he returned and we asked for the bill, which was delivered promptly.
It seems like a lot of hype, but in the end we spent over $200 on a less than average meal. Next time I’ll dump a bag of sour watermelon candies in a pitcher of Kool-aid and grab a bunch of straws.
We’ll be back!!!
Ughhhh this restaurant was a nightmare beginning to end. We had stayed over the night before so we made reservations for the next morning to celebrate an anniversary. Upon checking in with a less than friendly hostess we were seated. The table was missing settings, menus etc even though our reservation clearly said 6 and 6 people were seated. When someone came over, and I say someone because I'm not sure who it was as we had 3 different "servers" in the 10 mins we lasted at this restaurant, I inquired what time we could get alcoholic drinks. We were told 11:00 am and I was surprised because no where did it state this. Then the "server" said oh no it's 10:00am. We were there at 9:50 so this was great. When the next "server" came over to get our order I said we will order drinks at 10:00am. She said oh I'm sorry it's 11:00am. I said the last person said it's 10:00am. She apologized for whoever told as that and said I'm sorry it's 11:00am.
At this point we were going to leave. The server apologized and said sorry it's a casino rule about the alcohol. We decided to stay to have breakfast and fun coffee drinks. When the 3rd different "server" came to take our order we were then told no coffee drinks would be available as the espresso machine was broke!! Can you say disaster!?! At this point we could see the writing on the wall and decided to leave.
Here's the best part!! We left and immediately went to Juniors in the casino for breakfast. As soon as you opened the menu it CLEARLY states "alcohol served at 10:00am on Sunday". We looked around and saw everyone enjoying their cocktails!! What!?!! So apparently the Sugar Factory doesn't know what they are doing!! But we were the true winners because instead of buying $17 martinis and $36 cocktails we had some of the best $10 bloody Mary's and had the best server on the planet!!!
Sorry Sugar Factory but you need to get your act together!!
Food and drink were great. Server was a bit slow but all in all a good experience!
Overall great experience
The Sugar Factory in Foxwoods was a fun place for a good celebration but the meal and drinks were average at best for the price.
Such a fun time for my daughters birthday! Food was good , not fine cuisine but good. Desserts and drinks are amazing! Out of this world creations. Extra $20 to sing Halley birthday with music and lights is a little crazy but we did it. Service was very good.
Loved it but very expensive.
The experience and atmosphere of staff, music, food, cleanliness of the place was incredible....We brought our Son and Daughter-in-law for the experience and they enjoyed immensely.....Highly recommend for those looking for a difference in food and atmosphere...KWM
