Sugar Factory American Brasserie brings its first Sugar Factory Express to Mall of America!
Our fast casual dining experience carries all of the whimsy and fun Sugar Factory is known for, in a more casual environment for the whole family.
Known for its famous candy accessory, the Couture Pop, Sugar Factory has many celebrity fans including Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Flo Rida, Hailee Steinfeld, Katy Perry, Scott Disick, Jason Derulo, Britney Spears, Jerry Seinfeld, Selma Hayek and Mel B. Guests can expect a whimsical candy land experience with floor to ceiling candy bins, fun retail items, homemade gelato and artisan coffee. Instagram-worthy menu items range from their famous 24-scoop King Kong Sundae, piled high with various toppings, to their signature alcohol-infused candy smoking goblets such as the Lollipop Passion, garnished with lollipops and candy necklaces.

Food was not great and the buns on my burger tasted stale- I got the rainbow sliders. Service felt rushed even though it wasn’t busy when we were there. The waiters were just talking behind the bar together and rarely came over to ask if we needed anything. Very disappointing, especially for the price we paid.

Waited 20 minutes for someone to aknowledge us after we had been seated by the hostess then felt like we were an inconvenience the whole time

We went on a Tuesday, made reservations ahead. We were ready to order immediately and ordered two appetizers (one modified to no cheese), two salads, three meals and one fishbowl drink. The fishbowl drink was festive and with an appealing flavor and taste. It came in the first 20 minutes. We intended to order a milkshake when food came but never got the chance. There were several staff, but we had gotten no food items at the 45 minute mark. I went to an area staff were congregating to ask about timing and if we needed to make adjustments for time. They said everything was ready and they’d bring it out. They didn't bring it out immediately but most was out quickly after inquiring. It was about half correct on what we ordered; they never asked how things looked and we had only planned dinner to take an hour so we paid and left without correcting. Maybe the order wasn’t entered correctly, we weren’t charged for meals that didn’t come and it also doesn’t appear we were not charged for items that came we didn’t order.

We love to go to Sugar Factory. I am so happy they brought the full menu back to the MOA location. The service and the energy is always amazing. We celebrated my niece's birthday, and we all had a blast.

The shakes were very good but are pricey. The food was average at best and not a great value for the money. The concept is fun but it was extremely loud and very difficult to hear people at our own table.

Our server was phenomenal. My daughter and I took my wife there for Mother’s Day, and it was the best restaurant experience we’ve ever had.

We were able to book a reservation and even received a text a few days before from the restaurant confirming. When we arrived, they were closed.

We have gone in the past 4 years for my daughter's birthday. This year was the very best. I bought the King Kong dessert, and the energy was amazing.
