We made reservations for my birthday on 11/25 at 8:15pm. We live about 40 minutes away. We arrived promptly around 8pm, paid to park, and walked to the restaurant, only to discover that it was closed due to some sort of malfunction with the heating system. I was never notified by text or email. Absolutely ruined my evening. I don't think I'll be returning.

Heat was broken, food was under cooked and barely any staff. Service was slow and overall a huge disappointment for the birthday celebration we had planned. Candy at front of store was minimal and no one at register to help cash out.

We were really excited to go here for the first time so we made reservations. When we got there we found out the heat was out (not the server's fault) but we ended up having to keep our coats on the entire time. It was definitely cold!! I think if it had just been that, it would have been fine because again it was out of their control. We ordered a Cookie Monster shake which was adorable but the cupcake on top was stale, the donut was stale, and the milkshake was just okay. My husband's hot chocolate was good and the peach fizz drink we got. We ordered brunch and it was just average food. I think people come for the atmosphere and the crazy drinks, but for the price, we were definitely hoping for better quality.

I ordered the unicorn hot chocolate and it didn’t come in a clear mug and didn’t look anything like the photo for(I wanted to see the pink) $12. The staff was adorable and energetic, I loved their dancing and everyone was all smiles. The apps were cold, the burger fries were cold and not very good. I love the ambiance but you need to up your kitchen game, I will be back to try one of those beautiful shakes and I hope they look like the picture

Daughter’s 18th went with friends 45 minute wait no appetizers Alfredo disgusting other options not appealing shakes were disappointing overall not going back or recommending. Out the mouths of babes.

Worst experience ever! Reservations don’t really help, still waited 40 minutes. It was so cold inside people didn’t take off hats and winter jackets. The restaurant was out of sooo many items on the menu. 4 out of 5 types of tacos, guacamole, Cabernet, Michalob ultras….just to list a few. We ordered 2 milkshakes at the end of our meal and sat there an hour waiting for them. Just an all around terrible experience that cost us a small fortune. Never again!!

This place was absolutely terrible and I will be shocked if it even makes it another year. Put in kid's food order immediately only to have it come out after everything else. Had to go to the bar to retrieve drinks. It was so chilly that the staff was wearing winter coats. There was hair found in 2/3 of our dishes. I have been to other locations and this one is just not the same as the others - it was a HOT mess. The table sitting next to us had the same experience and left. Only plus side was the manager took care of some of the items on our bill. Expensive and fun concept, but sadly the experience was not what it should have been. Focus on taking care of your guests VS turning up the music and twerking for birthdays.

We made a reservation for Thanksgiving because we were staying downtown. We were able to make the reservation on OpenTable, and when we got to the restaurant it was closed. Lights off, chairs up, definitely had not been open at all that day. This was after receiving no fewer than 3 confirmation emails/texts from OpenTable about the reservation. Not sure if it was the fault of OpenTable or Sugar Factory, but trying to find another open restaurant at 6:15 on Thanksgiving was no easy task. I’m all about places not being open on Thanksgiving, but if you’re closed maybe don’t allow people to make a reservation??

We made reservations for Thanksgiving Day. Upon arrival the restaurant was not open. We ended up eating coney dogs for Thanksgiving day brunch. Huge disappointment. Had friends in from out of town. This was supposed to be a whole experience for them.

Our server was really nice, but it took almost an hour to get our drinks, and we received our food before we got our drinks. Felt forgotten about most of the time, AND when we went to check out, the person checking us out (I believe it was the manager) told one of the girls in our party that he didn't have change, which forced her to not get her change back as she only had cash.

Shortstaffed, overpriced, and underwhelming quality. We did not get served for over an hour after our reservation time. The order was incorrect and when it was brought to the attention of the server, he didn't even follow through with his promises to correct the mistakes The shelves were empty, the menus brought to the table had different prices on them, and no one really seemed to care about the job they were doing To sum the visit up in one word - regrettable.

We were looking forward to trying the Sugar Factory. Other then getting some cute pictures I would not recommend going. They were understaffed so I can not say we had bad service they worked hard to provide the best service they could with the few servers they had. The drinks were cute but crazy expensive. Some starting around $40. I get it that’s what they are know for but personally I can’t justify spending $40 on a drink. My kids did do order $20 shakes. They were decorated very fun but the shake it’s self was just a normal shake. My real complaint it the food. First off it all came out cold. We sent $17 on load fries which were almost un-edible. They had some sort of gross cheese wiz on them. We also ordered the mini burgers which again was a bad choice. It was technically an appetizer with 5 mini burgers for $28. We ordered two of and split it. After that no one wanted anything else to eat. All and all with tip we spent $170 for two appetizers, fries and three shakes and left feeling gross and hungry.

Waited for 45 minutes for our drinks after our order was taken. Ended up cancelling our entrees because of the terrible service. Our appetizers finally came out and we still had not received our drinks. Also, they put an automatic gratuity on your bill, so watch out for that! The service was no where near worth the amount they were asking for a tip. Will never go back.

We went for my daughter’s 17th birthday. We had a party of 6. We knew it was going to be busy. So no worries about the wait time to be seated but! Once we got to our table, we had one fork on the table. Not once did any more cutlery make it to our table. We had an awesome waiter! But! He asked us what we like to drink, we have Pepsi products. We asked for Sierra Mist he said alls we have is Pepsi. We ordered 2 insane Milkshakes. He said it be a 45min wait to get a shake. It was an hour and half before we got our 2 shakes. Mind you we were toward the end of the I asked about picking a birthday song. He said you going to hear it so much you’re not going to want it. For the amount of money you are charging, I should have cutlery to eat with. More options of drinks and I should’ve waited an hour and a half to get 2 milkshakes. I would’ve paid extra for the song and dance but I didn’t even get the option

We had a terrible time. With reservations we still had to wait 30 mins to be seated. Then waited about 40 mins for our food which came out before the drinks. When the drinks did come it was straight syrup barely any alcohol. Just all juice. When it came time to pay the waiter didnt want to give me a receipt and got a real bad attitude when i asked for one. Apparently they dont give receipts but he was too mad to explain that. They also charge 20% mandatory gratuity. We spent 3 hrs there. They guy took another 20 mins to being the bill. We missed our movie after dinner because it took so long. I will never be back.

We got the steak tacos, chips and salsa, and steak dinner. The steak was salty and overdone and way over priced. The taco shells were soggy, they ran out of my side of guacamole and the rice was dry. The chips and salsa were fine. Our margarita flight came very late I almost canceled it, but they were good. But overall it was Overpriced and our server acted like she was ready to go so I would not be going back.

WILL NOT EVER EAT HERE AGAIN- I RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE ELSE DOES EITHER! We were the first and ONLY ppl in the restaurant when we arrived. I made reservations for my daughter's 18th birthday brunch. The service was bad, not worth the 20% service gratuity fee that your forced to pay (on top of a tip scale that they put on your receipt). After we put our order in, we waited for another 30-40 minutes before everyone was served. My mother ordered a house burger, my son got the cheesey burger and my husband got the flaming hot Cheetos burger- none of their burgers were seasoned or worth the $20 price tag. My daughter ordered a French onion soup and a steak ribeye dinner (medium rare), and I got a Monte Cristo sandwich (which was supposed to come with fresh berries and never did). We had to return the soup and just have it removed from the bill bcuz I tasted like flavored water. Her steak was not REALLY a ribeye it was sirloin and cooked all over the place... Parts were rare, med, well done, it was cRaZy! The masked potatoes and Mac n cheese were lacking in flavoring as well- can't believe they charge $50 for a less than Coney Island quality dinner. My sandwich was very small and basic, would've had better again at Coney Island (and not be charged $18 for it). Oh and let's not forget the $5 charge for the sparkler on her birthday scoop. To say the least with a bill of $200 in the end, my expectations were high and I was completely and utterly let down!!!!! I paid less eating at Hell's Kitchen in Vegas with my kids and AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS food!

Way too loud and way overpriced. I get you're paying for the experience but there was no food on the menu I could eat being gluten free besides a salad. The drinks are overpriced too. I would not recommend this location or this place in general.

My burger was terrible!!! Dry overcooked meat patties, the cheese flavor was horrible, I never got my milkshakes, only one soda, two waters with dirt floating on top. ON TOP OF THAT … My reservation was at 8:15 pm and I was not seated until 8:45pm With all of that I would’ve still tipped my waitress but she got sassy when reviewing the check. I will still give the benefit of the doubt and try again, maybe they were overwhelmed - however ai was a waitress and bartender for 25 years so wait staff (especially in popular trendy restaurants) should be prepared for overcrowded nights.

Food was horrible. I ordered the steak fajitas for $26 and I received enough steak for a single fajita. It was maybe 2 ozs of meat. Got a ton of rice, beans, peppers and onions though. Meat was over cooked and hard. Ordered a to go onion ring when we sat down and received chicken tenders. My great server apologized and got me the correct item. Server was awesome and did an amazing job. My daughter is a chef and this food was amateur level at best.

My reservation was for 6 ppl for 6:30pm. The hostess told us it was a wait for “large groups” so ppl without reservations that had smaller groups were seated before us. After a whole hour we were finally seated. We waited another 30 minutes & we hadn’t seen our waitress, received waters or anything. Finally we reached out to a manager who said he would send some one out way. After another 10 minutes we just decided to leave. They then apologized for the wait & asked what they could do to get us to stay. We decided to wait bcuz by now we were starving. My chicken tenders were not fully cooked as I assume they rushed them out. The waitress comped my bill, but I left the restaurant still hungry after being there over 2hrs. Not to mention one of the guest on my party ordered a Lemon Drop that we never received. Granted it was the day of the tree lighting (a very busy day) but it’s no way u should wait an hour to be seated after a reservation & others are allowed to be seated before u. The initial assigned waitress said she “forgot” we were assigned to her & that was the hold up supposedly. This was my First & Last time patronizing this restaurant :(

The waiter was either high or totally inconsiderate as to what we were ordering. We had no clue where our drinks were, or which meal would come out. The prices are astronomical, especially for the food you get. This place is all show but NO GO. Also, the concept of having an encyclopedia for a menu should have been the first sign. Before we ordered, the waiter did (to his credit) steered us away from whole categories of food (i.e. stir fry) that “he’s never seen come out good.” I wish he would have steered us out the door before ordering. We’ll never return.

Took Thirty minutes for our waiter to get our order. He kept walking passed us saying he would be right back. Then he put in the orders. My childrens food came out first and we waited for the adults food. He then said he forgot to put the adult order in. So we waited another thirty minutes just for chicken Alfredo.

The servers were pleasant and attentive. This restaurant is overly priced. The food wasn’t good. Both sets of rainbow burgers were over cooked. The Cajun pasta is oily and I didn’t expect chopped up chicken bites as if a child was ordering. I was charged for items I didn’t order or never got. There was an extra long wait to get checked out and then the register didn’t work. We couldn’t pay cash because they didn’t have change.

We came to celebrate my daughters birthday, but they were out of 75% of the menu. The manager offered a 20% discount on our bill, but the bill then had a 20% mandatory service fee added back in. This was a terrible customer service experience.
