Had a great time. Drinks were fabulous but a little pricey. Definitely recommend sharing a speciality drink to start. if you finish it and want to order another one you can, but we ordered five and four of them couldn't be finished. Great variety of food.
We enjoyed the food. For daughters bday
Enjoyed every min of it fast and friendly service amazing and hott waiter good food and kid friendly enjoyed the music and deco drinks especially will go again soon
Very pricey. Prices are very high for not great quality. Paying for the sake of novelty.
I enjoyed the experience with the thrill of the drink and the scenery in the inside the restaurant. I would recommend the restaurant for a nice outing.
The fondue was good. Drinks were delicious. Milkshake was fantastic. The ice cream cookie was hard as a rock and nothing special at all. We ordered the bananas foster one. Plain vanilla ice cream, a banana sliced up on the side- nothing special, and a hard as a rock, gross cookie that was supposed to be macadamia nut but barely had any nuts or chocolate chips in it. Everything else was good. Ice cream cookie was a completely waste of money.
Serviced was super nice the host were snotty and uptight. The price of food was to much for not tasting as good as the price and the drinks were outstanding. Would go for the drinks not food. This is a place to go if you like music
Drinks were overpriced. Pepperoni Flatbread appetizer was lukewarm, dinner was served within 2 minutes of receiving appetizer, poorly timed. Dinner was ok, nothing that would tempt me to go a second time. Music is so loud that you can't hear other people at your table. This is a one and done restaurant.
We had so much fun our server was awesome and made sure we were informed on all drinks and food!
My son and I took my two year old granddaughter for dinner prior to attending Paw Patrol, the musical. We made a reservation prior to arrival, so, there was a very little wait. The décor kept Riley occupied for quite some time. She also enjoyed the energetic and friendly vibe and loved the random celebratory music. She was able to drink her entire candy coated milk shake and one slider which was really good for a toddler. Overall we al had a wonderful time and will definitely return.
Awesome place for birthday parties; wait staff is amazing though hostesses at the front are kind of unpleasant
Hostess at door was like no other hostess I’ve ever encountered in a restaurant. I’m a life long Chicago native & I hate to think that this is what out of town visitors encounter. Rude, disinterested, defensive...because I asked her how long before our table (reserved a week previous on Open Table) would be ready. We were on time, restaurant was not busy & I asked about how much longer it would be after waiting 15 minutes (w/3 little boys)
Only reason I didn’t leave was to not disappoint my grandsons.
Our waitress, however, was friendly, warm, attentive...just type of person you’d think a business would want at their front door meeting & taking care of customers. Even the kitchen staff that brought our food was friendly.
Don’t think I’d ever return to the Rush Street location.
My server Brock was hands down the best! He was very personable, upbeat, and made many recommendations. My friends and I enjoyed having him as our server, we would definitely go back. The manager on duty was as sweet as she could be, and she even brought us more gummies for our drink.
I took my daughter here for her birthday. We didn’t get dessert and our meal with the drinks was still over a hundred. The hostesss were not friendly. They sang happy birthday to three other groups and I really couldn’t figure out what I could have purchased to get them to sing to her. I would have gotten some dessert as my daughter wanted the chocolate cake desperately but we just got the bill instead of being asked for dessert. Good and drinks were amazing but I was disappointed by the lack of birthday wishes. We are not from the area and made this trip with this in mind. Hopefully you have a better celebration.
We had Edwin as our server, we now ask for him every time. He’s phenomenal. He really takes care of all of his customers. I would hire him at my company, what a nice and talented man.
My daughters 5th birthday
great environment, makes me wish i was 21 to enjoy the scene with their drinks! great for any occasion, food, drinks and great service! thanks! we will be back soon
If you're looking for a place to have a fun meal, this is it! The Goblets are quite the drink attraction if you're willing to pay the price...and share. They are HUGE! My daughter had a milkshake, and it was phenomenal: to look at and drink! The food is good enough, but the atmosphere is why I would go back. Great for a girls night out, or a celebration.
Our visit was to celebrate our daughters 16th birthday and she had a wonderful experience! Thanks you so much!
A must stop in to see. All glammed up with something for everyone.
Mac & cheese balls were fabulous. Steak was average. No kids meals, so plan on ordering from the regular menu. Milk shakes were around $18, Grown up drinks were $40. Cheeseburger and Fries were around $20. Gorgeous decor, great service, a bit loud. For 2 kids and 3 adults, we spent $250-$300.
Was on a date. Hard to hear during a Saturday with the loud music and then the even more amplified music when people were having the birthday ice cream. It seemed like everybody was having a birthday that day. Overall, the food was good and the drinks were great. Just really loud especially for a first date.
I went to this location for my birthday and had a great time! Our server was very funny and friendly and made the experience very enjoyable. It was also just an energetic and good atmosphere. The food was yummy and had good presentation and so did the drinks. Some things were a little pricy but only because they were so big! I'm excited to come back again.
Great place! Waiter Juliano was the best! The Mac and cheese pops and the Mac and cheese burger were to die for!
This was our first time here with my two girls. My mil and I wanted to do something fun before end of Christmas break. The place was beautiful and fun the girls loved it. Then we had a server who was new. Took forever to get drinks then our food order was wrong my one daughter didn’t get any. My mil was supposed to get whipped butter on pancakes. No butter waiting for butter never came. Waiting for plate so other daughter could eat half of my food never came. Asked another server for plate and whipped butter they brought me melted butter. It was ridiculous. Manager came discounted bill and gave the girls free candy. Still was $70! For cold pancakes... very disappointed.
We were on vacation in Chicago and really looking forward to eating here. We sat down and our waiter greeted us and was energetic at first. He took our drink order and immediately took our menus so we could not look at the food options. We were trying to get his attention but didn’t see him for another 45 minutes. We debated walking out or asking for a new waitress, however he finally came to our table. We asked for menu and then he finally gave us one after 15 minutes of waiting again and he just threw it on her table and didn’t even stop so that we can order. After another 20 minutes of waiting we put in our food order when everyone else around us that have came in after us was already leaving. When we finally got the food it was really good, but the service was horrible. Then we asked for the receipt and he was in the back talking with his friends and rolling silverware so we had to wait for another 15 minutes before we even got our check. Dan definitely ruined the experience for us.
I didn’t like the table we were at. It was too small for a group of 7.
Awesome place to celebrate 18th Birthday!!!Great waiter👍🏻 The Birthday girls were so impressed by the large desert with SPARKLERS!!I highly recommend Sugarfactory for a fun filled BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION🎂
I left no tip which I never do. We arrived 30 minutes early with reservations and waited 25 minutes while everyone else that had no reservations got seated. It was very slow in the restaurant.
We were seated and waited 10 minutes for server Edwin to greet us.
We ordered a 30.00 drink and waited another 10 minutes for it to arrive.
We placed an order and were told 10 minutes later my wife’s French toast was not available. So she immediately went with the original French toast.
My son and my burgers were so poorly assembled we ate them with forks. Fries and burger were not hot (not cold either).
They gave us no ketchup for our fries, but no server came to follow up and ask for more. There was no follow up during the meal.
The server said he was ‘fighting’ with the kitchen to get simple French toast made. The hamburgers arrived 10 minutes before the crepes and 15 minutes before the French toast.
Crepes arrived missing Carmel sauce and brownie chunks.
The server said the manager would be by to speak to us about the issues. Manager talked to my 18 year old son while we were (in the restroom)waiting for the bill. Did give us a 20% discount.
I work retail,I truly never complain.. but at the end I just wanted to get out of the restaurant.
I left out some details, but you get the idea.
You have a great concept, but with service like this. It was disappointing.
Not greeted at all, had to ask to check in. The guy walked away with menus to table but didn’t ask us to come with him, odd. Drink order took 6 minutes, waited 15 min for them to arrive. Appetizers delivered without plates, had to ask for them.
4 of 7 entrees delivered, had to wait another 8 min for other 3 meals. Ridiculously poor service, food was mediocre, at best.
Go to Eately or anywhere else for food, stick with the overpriced fishbowl sugar drinks at Sugar Factory & take the pics. The place is cute!
I loved it there. It was my first time and I had great service, great ambience and all!
We just had a few drinks and fondue. Everything is pretty good it’s just a little pricey
Love everything about the sugar factory! Great food and fantastic drinks and cocktails! It’s casual and fancy all at the same time and has really everything you could want
We had a reservation and had no guidance on where to wait and for how long before we could be seated. No one seemed friendly or welcoming. Once seated we had to wait nearly 10 minutes before someone brought over a broom to sweep up the unreasonable amount of macaroni all over the floor and we never got anyone to wipe the old dried up sauces off the table. Our round of drinks came out at the exact same time as our food and never really saw anyone again after that. Super disappointing birthday dinner.
Great experience every time i come here. Waiter was excellent and was able to compromise for my dear friend who didn’t like their food. Great!
The food is really good and very reasonably priced but the non-alcoholic goblets are crazy expensive at $30.00 a pop.. especially if you bring 3 or 4 kids in with you! Really insane..I think TSF should either lower the price or offer a smaller, less expensive sized goblet. When I order that large of a drink at that price, I'm really torn. As a consumer, I want them to drink every drop I'm paying for but as a mom, I feel guilty encouraging my child drink a 5-pound bag of sugar. I think the answer is smaller goblet options.
This was my second time at the sugar Factory and I must say it was just as loved as the first time
Ladies at the check in were really rude and
Great for celebrating a birthday. Our family really enjoyed the drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Food was good and reasonably priced. Service was great.
Presentation of food was excellent, most of the desserts were awesome. Savory food was middle of the road
