There was an altercation that took place that was no fault of Sugar Factory or any of the other patrons who were dining outside. All the other diners were pleasant and respectful. It was unfortunate that this occurred.
Our server was great! The manager joe was great with helping accommodating our situation! I suggest everyone to visit the Sugar Factory
Great, slow service but fun place.
my server was gray her name I believe was Tonya
waited for almost an hour even tho we had a reservation (2 people)
We made reservations for 7 and didn’t get seated until 8 so what purpose the reservation had…not much. The staff was rude, unkind, not helpful. The food was decent nothing to write home about. Would I recommend it, yes as a last option.
The food was cold, service was horrible. I would not go back to this location. Wasn’t worth the money.
Our experience was disappointing to say the least. Our server acted very disinterested in what she was doing. We had asked for a few more minutes to decided and she disappeared. When she finally returned and took our order I informed her that we were celebrating a birthday today. That was fine. She brought everyone else’s treat out first which was good. She halfheartedly sang happy birthday. Wasn’t to bothered by that but it was kind of sad.when our food came out we asked as she rushed by where we’re the ducks that come with the burgers. She simply said we don’t have any and walked away. We asked for napkins. She said ok and never returned. We had to flag someone else down. She never checked on us to see how our meal was or if we needed anything. We finally flagged her down and asked for water. 10 minutes later we got it. We saw other tables come and go by this point. We all finished our water she waited on 2 tables around us and still no acknowledgement. Flagged her down again and asked for boxes. She said ok and never returned! It was finally on the 3rd request that we got our boxes. We had to flag her down again for our check. That took several minutes. I handed her the card and the bill and went to the bathroom. My friend was waiting at the table he said she tossed it on the table as she walked by. No thank you or anything. Needless to say we were very disappointed in the whole experience. We came in to celebrate and left with a really bad taste in our mouths. We as a group we’re extremely disappointed that we seemed to be a bother to her. We were acknowledged as we left but other than that. This is a place that I would not recommend and that makes me so sad to say. We all wished we had gone to The Grove for pasta.
That is a very long nutshell is why we were so unhappy with your establishment
We waited over an hour for our reservation. When we got seated the waitress took awhile to come over. The food came relatively quick compared to our wait. The waitress or ability to wait on us was very slow. 20 min to bring the bill after 3 requests.
The place is “fun” but that doesn’t outweigh the drawbacks on the wait.
Had reservations and waited over an hour. Had to deal with unprofessional staff. When I was finally seated the restaurant is completely filthy not sure how the health department allows this but I walked out. Worst experience ever.
We went to this restaurant for a child’s 10th birthday. My experience at the Sugar Shack in Vegas was a much different experience. There were kids but it didn’t feel like the establishment was totally geared towards children’s celebrations! This location felt like a high end Chucks Cheese! The children are amped up on ice cream and candy and are running all over the place! It was loud and crowded. I didn’t expect such an energetic atmosphere. I left feeling exhausted!
It was chaotic and a long wait with reservations. Food order completely wrong, and in the end manager had to comp us two dishes. The feeling was overwhelmed from the wait staff to the front desk. Candy store had two people one helping customers and one behind the counter and if someone ordered a drink it caused the line to have a wait time of at least 20 plus minutes.
Marlin (manager) was great! My family and I had a great time!
Waited 50 min just to be seated, even though we had rsvp
My family was visiting LA and we decided to take our daughter to Sugar Factory. I will first say I am happy that they were able to fit us in in-spite of being late due to the LA traffic and just not knowing where the restaurant was located. This is not our first time at a Sugar Factory so I expected it to be a bit lively. What I did not expect was that the ongoing dancing would impact service delivery. We waited a long time to be waited on the food took a really long time to come out. My husband ordered chicken and waffles and it did not come out as expected. Changes were made without his consultation or our waitress. He ended up having to send it back to get a different meal. Additionally the restaurant does was run down. The bathroom stalls were unsafe. The railings were hanging down showing exposed nails. The changing table was falling apart and I had to literally hold it up with my leg to change my infant daughter. Lastly the seats were very stained. Overall the food was great but due to everything else we not return to his location.
We were finally seated around 4:30 after being told our reservation was canceled despite the fact that we checked in at the front desk and stood inside for over an hour with a handicapped individual in our party. They finally sat us(after complaining numerous times) directly in the sun outdoors even though I requested indoor dining. There were no apologies offered.
It was an amazing time as always. Drinks and food were delicious!
Awesome came all the way from the bay!! SF to see what this place was about
Overall experience was great . Did have to wait a little long after check in but most definitely will be returning !
This place is a great example of a trendy overpriced restaurant. Brought the kids for their graduation night. Service was horrible. Took 20 min just to see someone to get water. Food arrived and we had to wait 10 minutes for silverware and napkins. The only fun part was watching other people pay $100 for a giant Sunday so they could watch the staff perform dances. The food was TERRIBLE. Seriously. Don’t waste your money or time.
Also...they added 18% gratuity for our party of 4. No wonder service is THE WORST. they get tips regardless
The customer service was terrible. The food is pricey but of a cheap quality. Reserved an indoor table and was set outside, the furniture was unstable and a patio umbrella fell on my baby's stroller while she slept inside it. More than likely won't be back.
Horrible wait time even with a reservation. No communication from staff. Staff incompetent and not efficient at seating guests. Table and seat dirty and nasty. Floor nasty. Outdoor shading not helpful. Drinks not worth the extremely high cost. Food was good, waiter was great. Will never return.
We were finally sat down and it took 30 mins just to get a help. I guess our original service never came by and a waiter name Marques was super helpful. He made the experience all better. If it wasn't for him we would probably just waited forever.
Great food, great view, great drinks, but service is a little lagging because they seem to have too many customers and not enough staff. We had to wait for about 20 minutes by the table where we were going to be seated so the bus boy could come and clean up, We also had to wait to get placesettings when we already had our food, but other than that the service was good. I would recommend coming here as it’s great fun!
This place was wonderful to eat at. Our Gabrielle was wonderful and very welcoming. She was wonderful. We didn’t have to wait for our table we were set right at our table at the time of our reservation which was great
First time at the Sugar Factory and went for my birthday. If we asked for something we waited an extremely long time for it. Waited an 2 hours for our check to be split up for a party of 7. Mangers did not show empathy for our unpleasant experience with waiting on check and server. Our server during service was nice, but later on in the night had bipolar personality. The server sexually assaulted me as a guest attending this restaurant. The server pulled down his mask and kissed my forehead. Grabbed me by my waist and groped me as I was taking pictures with my friends. Paid a larger amount of money to be disrespected by servers and managers. I will not be going here again. Terrible first experience!
Terrible service and food. Had the grilled chicken sandwich and it came with the skin on it. Atmosphere is fun and desserts are great. This a check the box once kind of place. Not somewhere I’d rush to go again.
We took our kids for dinner to celebrate the end of a difficult school year. I’m not sure why a reservation is necessary if you will be seated 45 min later.
Food was good. The kids enjoyed their fancy drinks and our waiter Matthew was
Scenery and workers were all fabulous!!! Great vibe and I love how the team correlates for a birthday!
Long wait time even with reservations. Took quite awhile to place my order as well.
We were celebrating my daughter’s 8 the grade culmination and it was a great choice for a celebration! Our sever, Marques, was the best! The only area I didn’t give all 5 starts to is the price. It’s a bit pricey for basic American food. You’re definitely paying for the ambiance.
First, we were disappointed that we had to wait for one hour when we had a reservation. The food was decent but the service was lacking. Our waiter was nice but we had to ask for water and wait about 15 minutes until
It was brought. We went for our sons 19th birthday but we would definitely not be returning any time soon
All for the pictures Food is not great at all ofcourse overpriced. And for a child friendly place and for what sugar factory represents the people working there should be more friendly they don't even greet at entrance not welcoming at all...Not even the waitress sound exited to be there..🙄
First time for my son… he loved it! Food was alright… I asked for salmon salad, and got the salmon w/mashed potatoes. Still delicious!
