Sugar Factory Bravern (Bellevue)
Food was good. Restaurant was very loud (music). Milk shakes are excellent.
Took my son here for his 21st birthday. The waiter was awesome. He was very attentive, remembered my son's name. Made his night great. The drinks were super fun and quite the experience. Food is priced moderately. Drinks are a little spendy but totally worth it for this special occasion.
This location can't even compare to the other locations! It's not lively at all. It took over an hour for the drinks we ordered to arrive to our table. It's clear that they're understaffed and everyone is stressed out. The food was still delicious. :/
This place is a freaking joke - I made reservations online for 10 people, and their reservation booking service made it for 6 people. We came up here for my boyfriend's birthday with 845p reservation. Got here at 840p. The hostess wasn't at the desk for a good 7 minutes, didn't get greeted by our server until about 30 minutes after being seated, another 10 to get water. Ordered our food and drinks all at the same time....1 hour after being here we finally got our food. Except for 1 individual who got his meal 20 minutes after everyone already ate. He told them not to bother with it. We never got our drinks. Everyone else that was seated after us got their food and drinks well before us.
Very bad service. It took a whole hour to get a small drink from the bar. Did not even receive an apology.
Food was good. Parking easy. Service was lackluster. Bill brought without being asked if we wanted dessert. Had to go ask how and where to pay bill.
Great staff. Food was good too. We celebrated my niece's birthday here!
We had fun!
The best way to describe our experience is that it was fine. Simply just fine. Nothing was terrible, but for the price, we felt that the food didn't really meet our expectations. The kids thought the desserts looked good, but so big that neither wanted to order their own item however they didn't want the same thing. I think if they could offer some smaller portions and thus lower the prices we'd come back for a kid birthday or special event. We are a family of self-described foodies though, so farm to table, and high quality, local menus are more our speed. I'm guessing we aren't the target audience for Sugar Factory.
They ran out of a lot of stuff due to the holidays which was understandable. No reduced price was offered as a result. The drink was ok but it definitely was NOT a $40 drink. There was too much ice and the dry ice is unnecessary which probably why the drink was expensive for what it is. I only ordered fries for food which were $8 but, I can get way better friend than what I got at the Sugar Factory for less at McDonald's and Burger King. It was also my first time there and they did not tell me about the ticket validation and that they do it there. So I then had to go all the way back to the restaurant and when I got there, there were two employees that were standing right by the bar next to the host stand and they did not even acknowledge me. They just looked at me and turned around.
Service was extremely slow and the restaurant wasn't even busy. Alcohol drinks are extremely expensive compared to other restaurants in the area. Great for birthdays or get togethers. It's not a place you can have a dinner conversation at because of the loud music that's playing.
Ok. I can do math. I knew I was spending $200+ before I got there. I was expecting that. I say this because I’ve seen reviews complaining about the price and I knew it was going to be a bit spendy.
What I wasn’t expecting was the eye roll from the hostess for adding 1 child to our reservation of 6. We were seated at a circular table and they weren’t at fire capacity. Order entered incorrectly leading to one item being entered as the only entre at a 7 top, everything else came out together. 1 hr later this one entre burger still hadn’t appeared even though we asked 2 people for it.
The biggest irritant was our waters never got refilled. 7 $20 milkshakes and food but no water?
Or the positive my tween birthday kid thought real famous people hung out there and loved the red carpet set up for pics.
We ate at Sugar Factory on a Saturday evening, and it all went well. Our server, Faith, was great. She was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We had one who came late and she was quick about getting his order in so we could eat together. She recommended the cheesecake and it was phenomenal! We had cheesecake, chocolate cake and a huge shake. The food was good, desserts were the true winner.
The food was so-so. I've had worse but I've also had better. Restaurant is known for desserts so they probably don't focus as much on the actual dinner options. I had the brownie icecream sandwich for dessert. The icecream was good but the brownie was dry. They also said it had hot fudge with it but the fudge was used more for a design on the plate.
The service was really slow, the restaurant was dirty and the place was just ok for how expensive it is. I thought the place was going to wow you but totally was a disappointment. The mirrors, Menus and floors were dirty. It grossed me out.
Hostess gave our table of 9 three menus. Took nearly 45 minutes until the server came to take our order. Needed more menus still. Took another 45 minutes for our drinks to come out. Switched servers 3 times... too much dry ice in my drinks. Not a great experience For my birthday
This was a fun and novel experience for my 14 year old son’s birthday. However, the food and drink are exorbitantly priced ($34 for a virgin drink, $19 for a millshake, $28 for chicken and waffles.) There was nothing special about the food, just passable. The drink and milkshake were a little tastier. Our server was friendly and pleasant. Pop music is played at a very high volume. The black and white decor and fancy chandeliers were attractive and add to the ambiance. All in all fun, but I would only ever go again for a kid’s special occasion.
Enjoyed the service and location.
I took my daughter to the sugar factory for her 10 birthday and we had a party of 6. The service was less than standard. The food was salty, lettuce was wilted, the sliders were dry. The waitress forgot to bring out my food with everyone else, I was extremely disappointed and I will never go back. It was not welcoming and when I asked questions about the menu and happy hour I was told wrong information. They were not familiar with the policies and procedures.
Not really the experience we imagined. We didn’t have good service which I hope was not normal. We normally eat at John Howie which is right next door. Normally that area of town prides itself on good service. The waitress kept dropping off the wrong food at the wrong table and reminding us this was her 7th day in a row. The staff never once checked in with us to see if we needed anything else. We had to flag them down to get there attention to tell them they never brought my husbands drink or my ranch. My husband finally got his drink after we were done eating. She brought him root beer instead of the Dr Pepper that he ordered because they didn’t have it and assumed that would be a sufficient alternative. My husband hates it when people assume root beer is a substitute for Dr. Pepper and wished she came back to ask him what he would have preferred. By that time he just went with it because we were so frustrated. We were going to order dessert but she never asked and brought the check so we didn’t get dessert. We missed out on the cookie Sunday for two. The food itself was good, we all got the Mac burger. Not worth the $115 we spend for poor service. I’m hoping the bad service was a one time experience. We may try it again in the future.
Extremely expensive meal for the quality of food. I’d compare the food to The Cheesecake Factory. My virgin martini was $16! You definitely pay for the name/brand. I would go back for a special occasion or just dessert, but likely not for a full dinner. Service was great though, & it’s very cute.
Took the family here for New Years Eve, my wife wanted to try one of the $40 goblet drinks, which wasn’t bad. No kids menu, but we were encouraged to order off the appetizer menu. Wife and child split the sliders, and ordered a side of fries, fries never came. I ordered the farm burger, wasn’t as described on the menu. Burger has an over easy egg on top and it was over cooked with no yolk. One entree, one app and one drink and a side that never came (and we had to ask to have it removed from the bill) $100. Overall not worth it, should of gone to Maggianos or Din Tai Fung instead.
The service was terrible. This was my second visit there and both time the service was slow and terrible. Waited an hour for the drink I ordered right when I got there. The food was fine and they were large portions. Sadly every time I have been the service was far below acceptable.
We brought my daughter here for her 7th Birthday (literally on her Birthday) We had great food and service and attended at Lunch time. We were a little disappointed that we told our server 2x that it was our daughters birthday and we’d like to celebrate it and nothing ever happened. Then, when leaving, heard Happy Birthday sung 3 different times within about 5 minutes of each other.
The food was great and over all service was good - but the lack of attention was definitely noticed.
Our waitress was amazing and attentive which was really nice! The food was really good as well! I have to be completely honest and say I wasn't impressed with the cost. I can understand it being a little bit more costly but nothing on the menu was anything that warranted the kind of pricing that was on the menu. I get it's for the experience however I think the prices are a bit ridiculous.
We wanted to experience the sugar factory for our wedding anniversary. Our pizza was undercooked and disgusting but the deserts are amazing and so are the goblet drinks.
Waiter was nice but never check on how we were doing but maybe once. Tarter sauce was absolutely terrible and food wasn’t very good at all. Buzz Inn food is much better and cheaper. Will not ever go back and would never recommend it to any of my friends.
Staff were very attentive and the food arrived hot. Manager promptly took care of a concern we had with our food order & our table was satisfied with the outcome. The 2 first timers on our table were impressed. Thumbs up for great customer service.
Very good service and great drinks!
We had a party of 9 for my daughter's 16th birthday party. The girls sat at one table and myself and my sister sat at another. All of the girls got their drinks including my niece (also at my table) and my sister and my drink didn't come out until all other drinks had been given out and they were almost gone. We ordered coffee and it wasn't even that warm.....seemed like our water was overworked.....not worth $14 plus gratuity for a coffee....probably wouldn't go back. My daughter liked it though....
The server forgot to put in many items that we ordered, the stuff came out when everyone else was done eating and cold. Waited 30 mins for a drink because he forgot, never refilled the sodas. Super disappointing especially for the price we paid.
Stay for the drinks and desserts. Skip the low quality food. My soup came from a campbells can. Salad was soggy. Pasta came out watery and smelled like feet.
We knew that this place would be expensive, but was anticipating more of a lavish and fun environment. We were 7 minutes late for our reservation and we had to wait an additional 20 minutes to be seated, when the restaurant wasn’t even half full. We were greeted by an energetic server who tried to connect with our kids by using the f word in a story he told us We ordered a shake for our kids to share, and we ordered a side of French fries, two beers and then ordered a cosmopolitan and a whiskey neat, and our bill was $74. Each of the cocktails were $20. We were shocked! I’m quite positive we would never go back again. The whole place was sticky and dirty. The floor was super gross and the top of our booth seat was also sticky.
Sugar Factory is fun! I’ve been to the one in Vegas, and this is, of course, the same. However, we went on a Sunday evening and even though we had a reservation, it took 20 minutes to seat us. Then, once we were seated, it took another 30 minutes before we were served (and it wasn’t even by our server). The servers were obviously agitated with each other, though once things got underway, we had zero complaints about our service.
It’s fun, but for the price, you could easily make a similar milkshake or sundae at home.
I would go back, but I would go back for a drink.
Overprice with misleading menu. Went for my son’s bday at his request, would not return or recommend to a friend.
Our family tradition is typically to go to Mariposa at Neiman Marcus. With our 9 year old, we thought it would be a fun experience to try the Sugar Factory. She was excited but I can't say I was thrilled with the experience. Our waitress was very rushed and short with us. Never gave us any recommendations or told us about the experience which I feel would have added so much to the overall visit. Our table kept moving so anytime we touched it it was just keep moving away. The food was tasty but the overall treatment of the staff just really left a bad taste. It wasn't even busy. I would say maybe 5 tables were occupied at the most. We just really had the impression that we weren't welcome. The drinks are amazing but we also weren't even offered anything else. When you pay the prices they have, one would just hope for a better overall experience. Especially during the holiday session when it's a special surprise for your daughter.
No. Just no. It was really terrible, don’t waste your time.
We go every holiday season and service just keeps getting worse so unfortunately won’t be back. This time specifically, had a reservation and it took a good ten minutes for the hostess to even acknowledge us. Not even a, “I’ll be right with you”, just nothing. The goblets are always fun but the service just doesn’t warrant the cost.
Birthday. Food was poor. No real flavor. Did not adhere to food allergy.
Family came in town. Wanted to do something new. Bill shock but was a good time outside of the slow service
It was fun! Our waitress was great in the beginning, but the restaurant started to get busier and they seemed short staffed. Everything took a while like to get our bill, then a while for her to come back to get my card etc etc.
