We went to Sugar Factory for my daughter's 17th birthday. There were 15 in our group. The server was very nice but appeared overwhelmed by the amount of people. She was VERY slow (but thorough!) The food took a long time to come out but the atmosphere was so fun and lively that we did not mind. My 17 yo daughter ordered a goblet drink. I was disappointed that the drink did not "smoke and bubble" as much as the goblet drinks with alcohol in them. That would have been nice to know but I am sure that would negatively affect sales. We got seated at 5:50 and left at 8:20. We were there much longer than I expected BUT we had a lot of fun. My daughter was happy, thus I was happy!
Requested to sing birthday song to my daughter. No one cared. I are a special note.
Adult drinks came way before my daughters and it was her birthday. Her drink came like 15 min after ours. Poor service
Seemed like we were ignored.
When we arrived we had to wait for the other couple to get there because they wouldn’t seat us without them. Once they did arrive we sat at a table that was barely clean and it had food (tomato’s, and onions under the table) which we had to kick over so we would step on. The seats were cleaned neither. Edgar was our server we didn’t have any silverware at all. The silverware came once we had our food and we had to ask for them. We asked for (4) glasses of water with straws and didn’t receive the straws til our food came. I mean the service was horrible. I had the shrimp pasta and it tasted burned. My husband had chicken pasta and he said it was dry. My friend had calamari and she said it was fried hard. And her husband had a burger. Which he said was ok. The Goblin was great! Edgar added $12 for onions we never had to our bill which he did remove once we caught it. But I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there due to my food And waiter experience. Edgar needs be more attentive and more proactive. The tables and floors should have been cleaned and ready to receive a customer. When Asking for straws it should be given at that second not later on once we reminded him once we got the water... The music was great and the environment was energetic just the food was terrible for me.
Fun atmosphere, good food, great drinks and desserts. Perfect for a Sweet 16 birthday party with friends. Expensive, but since being there, taking photos, sharing drinks...it was the party!
Sugar Factory is a fun, hip place focusing on drinks and sweets. The food menu is fairly extensive, however if I went back with the kids, probably just for dessert. Pricing was out of site! For sure not a place if you are on a budget.
Still overall, the service was outstanding and the food was good.
Soooo overpriced and does not list price for the goblet drink which was $34 for just juice and Red Bull. We did not have alcohol in ours. Ridiculous. The menu should be updated to include the price.
Servers were very rude to us. VERY. RUDE. The servers kept looking over at us and talking and giggling like we were all in high school. When she came over she desided she didn’t want to serve our table. Very unprofessional. It’s very expensive there and I didn’t have the fun I wanted for my friends birthday.
The food could use come work. we tried a variety of items and none of them were anything to write home about.
We had a great time! Enjoy every moment I come to the Sugar Factory and I’m most excited for my birthday in September!!!
Very nice but alittle spendy
Everything in terms of service was great, food was fulfilling, despite what some reviews have said, however I am glad that I went and saw for myself... will be returning at some point
Seating service even with a reservation is a joke. Took 30 minutes waiting at the front seating desk to seat only 4 of us. Reservation was at 830 didn’t get seated until 905. Everything else besides that was fine
I had reservation, but took extra 15 to get seated. Food order took about 1 hour 30 minutes, server kept saying, it is almost done. By the time food was served I was ready to leave. Very, very overpriced food and drinks. I liked the music. Would love to see improvements.
Good quality food, but much too expensive for what you get. I also think the decor is silly. I don't think pictures of famous people makes food taste any better. I've also seen enough Kardashian pictures to not want to return. Great server, however.
We had a blast. It was a great Mother’s Day brunch experience! My kiddos loved the indulgent milkshakes. My Eggs Benedict was great and the grilled cheese and sliders were big hits! We had a blast! I’ll definitely be back for a girls night to enjoy the alcoholic beverage goblets!
Our waitress was excellent and our food came out great (considering my order was very personalized due to dietary restrictions) but the noise was a little too much for us even before they became busier. I recommend sitting in the chocolate lounge if it’s open to avoid being around noisy children.
After Coming Here At The End Of Last Year We Were Pleased That The Service Had Gone From 0 To 100. The management switch was needed...
This place is overall phenomenal. We first visited one of the locations in Vegas. Loved it, so of course we celebrated our anniversary at the local one in WA. The only thing I’d recommend for the restaurant itself is to have a better listing on prices for their menu items. It isn’t the best feeling to order something then we slammed with the bill being unexpectedly higher than thought. But we loved this location!!
Ridiculously overpriced and loud. Would not come here unless it was for a child’s birthday and then too spendy. It’s trendy but I expect that will pass.
Ugh. I liked the concept but terribly executed. Slow service, over priced drinks and the food was fast food quality at best.
3 of us went on a Thursday evening for a birthday celebration for a 20 year old. It is indeed festive in decor and we looked forward to the celebratory drinks. We had been warned that it was a pricey place but I don't typically mind splurging a bit for a birthday. Let's just say that our tab for 3 people was in excess of $150. We had 3 of the fun drinks, the appetizer platter, 2 Chinese chicken salads and a burger. No desserts. The waitress was very attentive. She recommended the salads but they had NO chicken in it that I could detect. I never complain but I did mention this to the waitress. The manager stopped by with a small plate of cubed chicken, apologized, and told us to let her know if there was anything else she could do. Even with the added chicken this was perhaps the worst Chinese chicken salad I have had anywhere. My daughter enjoyed her burger. The appetizer platter was all fried food; onion rings, chicken, macaroni and cheese. Since the BD boy chose this, it was fine but not to my taste. The staff came by to sing though they brought the BD boy his non alcoholic drink well after they delivered my daughter and my drink. Awkward. The prices are terribly inflated which would have been fine had the food been good but I personally cannot recommend th u s restaurant in l less you have very deep pockets and stick to the hamburgers.
I’m usually not into sugar and sweet but SugarFactory managed to convince me that it’s great to go there. They have beautiful and well decorated and well-colored place, beautiful view to outside and plenty of light in (I don’t like eateries that are dark), nicely located, decent price and give so much options for adults (and children) to pick drinks for.
Staff are very friendly and fun too. Those are the highest score I give to Sugar Factory: awesome staff!
Had the most wonderful time organizing my bff bachelorette party here! The staff and ambiance were incredible and we had an absolute blast! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time! Thanks again!
It was just simply “ok” for me. The food tasted good but was served cold. The drinks are wonderful. You definitely get your money worth. However if you decide to change the alcohol in it there’s a 30$ up charge. That’s a little much.... it’s VERY loud, which is great for parties or groups it gives a great vibe! if you small children it’s really not the place for them.
Nice waiter, but he came with our desserts without bringing any utensils to eat them with. So we had to sit and stare at our ice cream for a good five minutes before we could actually eat it. Then he said sorry, but he had to wash them himself. It was kinda weird.
While it was one of those places to try once because of the crazy fun milkshakes & I'm glad I was able to take my kids to experience it once for a surprise for our daughters birthday the overall experience wasn’t great. We had a reservation & it took them over 20min to seat us and the restaurant wasn’t even 1/3 full. After that the waitress was incredibly rude when we said we were going to only be ordering dessert an appetizers. She rolled her eyes and was annoyed and her entire tone changed. We were both shocked. Luckily the kids were to busy looking at the menus to notice. $20+ a piece per milkshake plus the same cost for appetizer per child ages 6-11 is crazy but it was something they wanted to try. So for this special occasion we decided to do it. We have a few food allergies so I asked about a few of the items so my daughter could still enjoy the fun but not get sick, again the waitress was annoyed. The milkshakes were fun & the kids of course were super excited. My wife & I discussed how odd it was the way she was treating us in a customer service position...then we got the check. 20%gratuity added onto it. Apperntly she feels she can be rude because they’re going to make you tip a large amount no matter what the service was. Then I got it. I asked her to come over while the kids washed up in the bathroom & explained that I wasn’t comfortable being made to tip$25+ after the bad service we received she went to the manager. He came over was super polite asked what happened I explained and he fixed it. Luckily the management seems to understand how to speak to people but I definitely wouldn’t spend that kind of money to be treated that way again.
I read the reviews & many people had the same bad experience. I was hoping they were wrong. It’s also painfully loud. There was hardly anyone there but the screaming happy birthday song made my daughter ask me to have them not sing to her.
It was my daughters birthday and they didn’t even offer her a free birthday Sunday or anything!
The food was good and a lot of fun. Got to order the drinks, best part of the experience.
Fun experience. Food is not worth the price but the service was fantastic.
I planned a surprise 30th birthday party for my best friend. The place is very upscale look because it is in Bellevue at the Bravern. The service that my group of four people was horrible. The waiter did not really give us any service but to order and after food was delivered. He was kind of a snob because I asked about the drink prices and prices were not advertised. Prices of drinks were over priced and same goes for the food. I feel like we could have had a better experience over at the Cheesecake Factory. I went there for my 30th birthday and it was great. I wanted to check out the Sugar Factory. I will never recommend Sugar Factory to anyone. It is not worth all the hype. What a waste of $140.00
Mediocre food, overpriced
It was very expensive to dine here. But, fun for the novelty of the menu items.
My son did not like his sandwich and we informed the waitress about it, but she did not offer to rectify the situation.
Food was so so and it is very expensive. Music is super loud in there so you can barely have a conversation. I thought it would be a great spot for my son's bday dinner but will not be going back. And half their dessert menu was not available the night we went. How can you be called the Sugar Factory and not be able to provide desserts and the fancy milkshakes. That's the whole reason we went.
Unfortunately, I have more cons than pros. Their non-alcoholic fish bowl drinks for kids cost $34. The fish bowl with alcohol, $40. I just can't do it again! Bonkers expensive. Similar food as Cheesecake factory but double the cost.
Our reservation want actually seated until 30 minutes past the time we has and with 4 small.chilsren, that was an issue. The service was all around terrible. Food took way too long and we had to ask multiple times for simple things like our drinks, dressing, silverware, the bill and our server was no where to be found for our entire meal.
Pretty sure we won't be back
So much fun and indulgent in a good way!!!!! LOVE the goblets and that they suggested I take out my phone and video tapped it. The tie dye milkshake was over the top awesome!!
Amazing! Food and atmosphere was awesome. Will definitely go back !
My daughter’s birthday... she was SO happy with her smoking goblet drink, colorful sliders and special birthday sundae. The staff was fantastic!
The service was extremely extremely slow. The food was just average for the price... not really worth it.
No one told the price of things that were not listed when we asked. The Alfredo tasted like lemonade. And there was no room to move where the table that we were seated at. Lack of care when it came to other people coming in with big parties and I had a reservation.
