Sugar Factory has joined the collective of suburb brands at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ!

Accessible from the boardwalk and inside of the casino, Sugar Factory’s 1,500-square-foot confectionary will feature the signature floor-to-ceiling candy wall with more than 500 types of candy including a selection of novelty and bulk candy like the world-famous Couture Pops. Completing the confectionary, the café will offer coffees, hot chocolate, frozen hot chocolate, homemade specialty rainbow doughnuts and pastries in addition to homemade gelato and ice cream.
Sugar Factory’s menu features signature items such as savory crepes, salads, monster burgers, insane milkshakes and specialty pizzas. The legendary desserts will top the menu with the famous King Kong Sundae, serving up to 12 people with 24 scoops of ice cream topped with sprinkles, gummy bears, caramel sauce, fudge sauce and giant swirly pops, to name a few.

Save your money. Overpriced and overrated. Greeted by a rude manager who told us we needed to wait for the 4th person in our party to be seated. 3 of us were present. This was followed by paying $21 for a 12 ounce milkshake with the sugar level of a dozen donuts combined. Much better food and value elsewhere

Party of 5 adults, 2 children, and 1 toddler. Staff was friendly, but clearly understaffed. Although it was a Saturday in July around 5:30 pm, there was plenty of available tables, it took a long time for waiter to come by. Although the portions were reasonable size and priced for AC (more expensive because it’s AC), most of the food was subpar. The tomato soup, seafood chowder, and fries were pretty good. The Kona Crusted Steak Tips were bland and overcooked. The bread with cinnamon butter plus Caesar salad were ok. The Rainbow Sliders are definitely only for aesthetic, because the patties were bland, overcooked pucks. The grilled four cheese had cheese only on one side (you sometimes bite into only bread). The noodles in the Sweet & Sour Chicken & Noodle Thai were undercooked (hard, more than al dente). We gave the restaurant our first try, and don’t recommend coming back. We did talk to our waiter about the rainbow burgers (the poorest tasting item), and management took it off since most of it was left uneaten. The concept is cute, but we expected better food quality and taste for the prices.

We really liked it… but the food the kids order was not really good. It is probably due to the color dyes. They orders the rainbow pancakes. The eggs, omelette, potatoes and drinks were all pretty good.

I have eaten here many times but I was very disappointed. My daughter ordered the chicken sesame and all of it was terrible. I had the steak sandwich and nothing like the times before the bread was soft and soggy. The large pretzel was the only decent thing. The waiter was very hard to find Not very attentive at all. Won't be back anytime soon.
