The food was the worst part of the experience for me. The simple dish such as chicken & waffles was so disappointing. The chicken was extremely dry! Im not sure how you completely dry out dark meat but you guys did it. But the rest of the experience was great

I saw someone's plate which prompted me to make a reservation. Naturally I ordered the same thing I saw on their plate and 🤮🤢 it was awful and way too expensive. NEVER AGAIN
We had a wonderful time. Our waitress was great, food was delicious. Definitely going again

They changed their menu. It is much smaller than it used to be. So, we did not have the choices we wanted.
Social distancing was excellent.
Maybe the waitress shouldn’t have mentioned someone at the Hard Rock Cafe has Covid so they were closed that night.
Our server Erica was welcoming and attentive.
Food was pretty good. Everyone has to try a drink atleast once. They dont split checks which can be a hassle.

Took so long to seat, get all of our food and even longer to get the check. Very disappointed and my niece didn't enjoy the overall experience to celebrate her birthday.
This is the Sugar Factory in Atlantic City.
Getting drinks took as long as the meal itself. Drinks were ordered 10 min before dinner and never came. Then they came with our meals (which took over 45 min). Now you would think that is the reason for the bad review. No (read on).
We went on 9/12/20 and had reservations for 4. As indoor dining just started, we preferred to eat outside; however we were told there were no tables and had to eat indoors. This would have been ok if they were practicing social distancing at 25% capacity. While I didn't have a tape measure, I can with 100% certainty state that tables were closer than 6ft apart and there was definitely more than 25% capacity inside.
To make that worse, at 4 of the servers and 3+ waiters/waitresses were wearing their masks below the nose and one was down on his chin. And when they sung happy birthday, which happened like 5 times, the wait staff pulled down their masks to sing. From my understanding of the governors order for indoor, all above should not have happened.
We spoke with the manager and she could not care less. After explaining and pointing out the servers and waiters who weren't wearing their masks, she did nothing. We even saw her talk to one and still no change. Forget about the slow service for the food and drink, she literally walked away and did nothing to remedy any of the problems.
If you care about a restaurant who is doing indoor dining right and following the guidelines, Sugar Factory in AC is not it. The management obviously doesn't care about following the guidelines so why would the staff. We ate at number of other places in AC without any issue. But in Sugar, you would never know they had cut back on seating. And closeness of tables and people.
And if you have any issues, don't expect management to care or do anything about it. For the cost of the drinks and the meals, expectations are higher and there is no excuse for not following the rules.

Worst experience in all of my sugar factory experiences. Rude hostess and security guard. Waitress forgot half of the things we asked for and would disappear. Burgers were burnt. Chicken was not cooked well. Never even asked if we wanted dessert and after waiting 45 minutes we tracked down the waitress to pay and leave. Got dessert elsewhere.
Food and drinks very good but pricey. Paying for the novelty
I had made reservations for my daughter's 10 bday a month in advance. When we got there they wanted to shove us in the way back by the kitchen I was alike I made reservations early enough in to sit in the front where all the magic happens lol. I felt this was important for my daughter who really wanted to see and be apart of everything. We finally get seated and we order drinks and food. Now these drinks are not cheap your paying anywhere to 25-50 per cup. We ordered 4 and waited 27 min before they were served. I thought how nice it would be to enjoy them before the food came. Drinks were poured and the food came out literally right after bc we had waited sooo long. The waitress did apologize for the wait and she said everything is backed up. But the point being I made reservations in advance where my party of five should have already been accounted for.
On to the food ..for the price they charge it could have atleast been warm. My soup was cold daughters sandwich was soggy and the fries were way over salted and my husband never got his sides. I feel like applebee's food would have been better. I then was told the additional $20 that I said I would pay for the bday shout-out ..lights ..and cupcake was not going to happen bc the system for lighting was broken. I had to ask if we could atleast do the cupcake and sing ..but I was told that would be $10. Since when do we charge to sing happy birthday to a child. There was a table next to us that was so loud and rude the waitresses just stared at them. We couldn't even hear each other talk. The whole experience was very disappointing and we will prob never drive four hours again to go. Hopefully other locations live up to there name because for the money I spent I wish I never went.
They need more items on the menu. New York menu is way better.
Social distancing practiced, cleaning clearly visible. First time inside a restaurant in 6 months. Service was excellent but the chicken and waffles were terrible, my burger was extremely dry, prices for drinks were too expensive. Ambiance and experience for my birthday girl was a hit. Suggest they get the food and prices together otherwise they may not survive the pandemic aftermath.
Everything was great. My daughter turned 18 and that is Where she wanted to go. Food was great. Service was great. I just wish there was a kids menu bc my 5 yr old grand daughter was with me amd had to eat off of everyone else. I think its something that needs to be considered.

Our waitress was spectacular but my sister Sally came out and our food never came out we had to ask where it was and it was only a Turk to Turkey club so it could have taken that long to make

More than enough on a plate. The drinks are strong and tasty. Anything marked for two is definitely for 2 or more! Not my first time, not my last!
Food was delicious. Since I made a review before I had a buy 1 get 1 on the goblets... for some reason this required some verification. Once confirmed the manager accidentally gave us buy 1 get 1 half off, I had to show her my email again and it was resolved. Music was on point. This is my second visit to SF and I plan on going back. I hope they don’t change.
I did have one small issue... when I made my reservation I noted that it was a special occasion. I wrote that it was my wife’s birthday. I thought they would bring out something special (which I was willing to pay for), but we got nothing. I thought if I wrote it in my reservation I didn’t have to remind the host. But aside from that ... we had a good time.
My daughter had the McCheesy Burger and loved it. I had the grilled cheese and cream of marinara soup. That soup was like silk, so good and creamy!! My husband had one of his favorite goblet drinks Blue Ocean Blue which packed a PUNCH!!! #LoveSugarfactory
The atmosphere was positive, the food is excellent, and the service was good.
Poor service, no utensils, gave us plastic utensils, plastic cups etc. didn’t get drinks until after we finished our main course. Disorganized hostess
I recently went to the Sugar Factory in AC on Sept. 6,7,8 for breakfast while my husband and I stayed at the Hard Rock. The waitress on Sept 6, and Sept 7 were horrible. They forgot items we asked for and never came around to see if we needed anything. The waitress on Sept. 8 was great but the restaurant didn't open up till 11 am. We were checking out and had to wait for it to open. Meanwhile, we wanted breakfast and the only items that were offered were pancakes or waffles. Who ever heard of a restaurant in a hotel not open up early for breakfast?! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will not go back to eat there again.
Very expensive and food is not great. Server was very forgetful but wasn't forgetful when it was time to pay the check.
To start off, the drink that came did not have any alcohol in it when requested. After 20 minutes of waiting for a $17 watered down chocolate milk, we also had to endure late food arrival and mediocre quality food. The sugar factory is very much over hyped and overrated. Although the waitress was very kind, I will not be dining here again.
Service was bad, waited almost an hour to get an order in. Food used to be much better here.
This was our first time there- took our 7 year old daughter and 4 other friends.
Reservation was at 10am ordered at 1030am it took over an hour to get our meal.

Service was not that good.
Would not recommend anyone if they can’t handle capacity at 25% how could they possibly handle full.
I did stress after an hour of waiting talk to manager. I thought that we were forgotten and had asked our waitress if we were forgotten before I went to the manager in regards to the disappointing experience.
She did take 30.00 off the 280.00 bill.
Actually not real impressed with even that.

I purchased the chicken Caesar salad. When my food came to the table the salad was very soggy the chicken was extremely dry. My husband ordered the chicken alfredo and his chicken was very dry the noodles were hard. The drinks were the only good experience.
Great customer service and fast food and drinks were well worth it.
While in Atlantic City for Labor Day weekend my gf and I wanted to have a cute date night since we had been to the sugar factory in Miami and enjoyed ourselves and the drinks, HOWEVER Atlantic City’s Sugar Factory was a different experience. Even though we had reservations everything seemed rushed and not up to standard . Our waiter sloppily poured our drinks into the glasses making a mess of our table all while talking about other customers being cheap, leaving the remains of the drinks in the metal cups they came in on our table .Neither of our drinks were good. They both lacked ingredients majorly like the candy and fixings which is why you pay 40$ for a “ goblet “ both tasted like NyQuil and some type of cheap juice . I returned mine hoping to switch for another however our extremely inappropriate chatty waiter informed me that the bar was already closed which was confusing since we had just sat down and hadn’t even ordered food yet . Reluctantly we ordered food which was equally disappointing. Needless to say we won’t be returning here , there are much better places to spend 100$ on a drink and burger
