Food was good - at least what we received. I attempted to order a pizza but the waiter came back 10 minutes later to say the oven wasn't working and to order something else. Problem is he didn't come back until almost 30 minutes later. By that time my daughter's meal had come out and we shared it. I had asked other waiters to find him with no success. The goblet drinks are cool and fun along with the milkshakes.
It was a good restaurant to go to for a fun time. The food is nothing special but it is good and if you’re hungry it is great! The waiters and waitresses are kind and they are all foreigners (mostly from Central and Southern America). It is more of a tourist trap (like almost all of South Beach). But if you’re looking for some cool drinks and American style food this is a good place to go. However, it is quite expensive. Probably around three dollar signs according to google maps.
We had a great time! The food was great and everything sweet was GREAT, of course!
I had the salmon. It was amazing. Our waiter I believe was Franco he was amazing. Definitely will be coming back
The manager and waiter were very rude and disgusting. I’ve been here several times and never had an awful experience like I did ON Mother’s Day
Atención espectacular muy buena comida y los tragos súper buenos me encanto
Our server Carlos was incredible! He made sure everything was perfect for our friends birthday. Will definitely be back
The presentation of the drinks were great here. I ordered the Chiken & Waffles for lunch and it was excellent.
Sugar Factory was amazing nothing short...the customer service was outstanding, we were visiting from Atlanta. Big thanks to Edward his mannerism was amazing....It was the best food in Miami.
Adriana was an amazing waitress. She was very attentive to our party of 8. Everyones order was correct and well pleased.
This is my second time coming to this restaurant although it can be pricey it’s worth it. The location is great and the waiters are super nice and make sure you are all set. Would 100% recommend.
I would not recommend this place to anyone . Overpriced for a less than nice ambiance , and terrible service !!!!
Overall the place had a really fun vibe. It was quite busy when we went which was around 9pm on a Thursday but we were still seated fairly quickly. I had the shrimp alfredo & it was AMAZING! Very filling and I would definitely get it again. We also got one the goblet drinks and it was so good although a little pricey so be prepared to pay or just split amongst people. Music was great. Definitely a good time with great food.
My bday was awesome I really enjoy it.
The manager He was so rude and prejudice He treated are so badd I almost Punch him it was for the kids were with me
We came here for a group dinner. The idea of the place seemed fun, but that immediately changed when we were at the restaurant. The host was very rude and told us to wait in the hotel lobby area until our whole party was there instead of offering us to get a drink at the bar while we waited. The waiters were great and the food was good. We loved the fun desserts. The atmosphere was a little underwhelming though. Overall the experience was ok.
Roberto, our server was amazing! He was very attentive to our needs and super friendly
The experience at Sugar Factory was very pleasant and I was greeted by whom I thank is the manager, so that was very nice as well as he introduced me to the violinist who played awesome instrumental later in the night. The drink are really fun and delicious. The food I ordered (The trio) wasn't all that, but I would just try something different the next time I visit. I'm mad at myself that I didn't make time to purchase a really cute silver & pink mug for being so busy making sure the Birthday girl and of her guest were finishing up, so we don't be late boarding our party bus.
Service was TERRIBLE!!! One thing is the rude waitresses fit in with the other rude ones. And the ice cream wasnt fresh it was like it had been sitting in the freezer too long. All that hype for NOTHING!!! Yall can call if you want to know why I felt the way I did 5024178972
Food was amazing and the atmosphere was electric. Perfect for a fun and relaxed meal!!
Good was very delicious, environment was awesome, good selection of music my only issue was the server he was a little slow and he only checked on our table once we had to ask other employees for things we needed
Third year Wedding Anniversary
Pretty terrible experience. This was for a birthday party set up months ago in miami. We flew down from MN. The music was so loud that we couldnt communicate to the person seating us. He had to ask us multiple times what we wanted. Finally got seated and we couldnt order or talk over the music. We asked for the music to be lowered to a point where we could hear ourselves think but manager gave us a BS answer and we got sent to someone else. Needless to say we left pretty quick and celebrated last min somewhere else. No customer service here and intolerable to eat here.
Staff including manager were totally unaccommodating to a child's dairy allergy. we wanted a non dairy drink in one of the fancy shakes. Were told they would not be able to do that. We were willing to pay anything , They never told us that al the fancy alcoholic drinks could be made non alcoholic (although it was in small print on the menu), We finally figured it out ourselves, were able to order a green drink with a lollipop that made the child happy. It might have been nice if the manager suggested that in the first place. You don't go here for the food, you go to please children.
They are way to expensive for the menu items like 8 chickens wings $15, they need a little upgrading on portions as well. Presentation is nice tho.
Thought it would be one of those typical American experiences...all blow and no show BUT I couldn’t have been more wrong. Serving sizes were spot and I can highly recommend the donut burger (which sounds sickly but was actually gorgeous!). Also try the multi coloured burger appetiser.
We were outside, the seating was ok. Inside was so much nicer, i wish i would have known before we sat outside. The drinks were ok, to be honest it’s a big hype. I wanted to go for the experience, i got it but wasn’t really impressed. Maybe the one in the city is nicer ?
I took my daughter to celebrate her 10th birthday. My waiter Cody was absolutely horrible. He never bothered to checking on us. Trying to get his attention was next to impossible. I could understand if the restaurant was crowded, but there were literally 6-7 tables being occupied. I didn’t finish my food because I was simply ready to get out of there. For the the amount of money you spend, you would think the service would be exceptional but that simply was not the case. I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant before. I didn’t bother asking for a managed because I didn’t think it would make a difference and I didn’t want to make a scene in front of my daughter. I felt as though we didn’t matter. Will never visit the Miami location again.
My first time being there an i enjoyed it i celebrated my 23rd birthday.
Way overpriced , overrated
Made reservations for 5 people for my daughter's 11 birthday. The host was wonderful, great customer service... Very pleasant. Though our waiter was hardly present and had to change our dessert options 3x due to things not available. The most disappointing was though my daughter picked her own dessert she was not presented with a birthday song. I asked why that was, the waiter had no answer, I was just told it's was $3 for the candle if we wanted the birthday song. Why was it questioned to begin with?? Other people there had their birthday presentations with a song. The host noticed that she didn't get her song and he got the candle himself and made it happen. I'm surprised for such a popular tourist attraction it looked run down. Not entirely happy with our visit, sorry but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
We sat inside and were greeted by Edward who made us feel very welcome. The portions are huge and tasty and there was something for everyone. We had crepes which were decadent and cooked perfectly. We were there for breakfast so we did not have one of the signature ginormous cocktails but we did have their specialty coffee and that was almost like a meal itself. Great place to go but expect to leave with a sugar high!
Music way to loud. It was to the point that conversation and thinking were hard to do. Our waiter was not very helpful with suggestions. After taking out order he never came back to ask us if we needed anything. Food and drinks were way over priced. We got 2 apps, 1 meal, and a normal frappe and the bill was over 100$. The expectation was much better than the reality.
Food overpriced and not all that good. Waiter was not very attentive. If you're not ordering a signature goblet drink all drinks are served in a plastic cup (no glass) . Charged $7 for a coke in a small plastic cup with no ice.
On Sunday April 14, was my second time dining at Sugar Factory. The first time was During the month of June 2017 and the service and food was extremely bad. The only reason why I went back this year was because my princess turned 15. I was very surprised. The food was Delicious And the hospitality was the best. Thank you to Roberto who was our waiter . I hate recommending and giving rating because sometimes other are not as lucky for service they pay for. If you are planning on dining and having a fun time request Roberto as your waiter. Thank you.
We always enjoy the Sugar Factory! No matter what location. This location was perfect. Right across from South Beach. A violinist came out and he SHREDDED it, to some music playing. He was amazing. Really made this evening with such a surprise. Very fun! Food is always good, drinks amazing! Very good waitstaff
Very expensive. I figure it is bcs it is south beach. We attended the one in NYC and the price difference for the drinks are intense.
The service was average
Food was okay.
No real wow factor. And then.... the service charge.
Not a win for me. I went to Barton G, and new what I was paying for. Not so much here.
Was a great experience for my nine-year-old’s birthday however just be aware that after a certain time the actual restaurant turns the lights off and is not very good for kids
Fun for the kids. Adults enjoyed also
Would’ve wanted a better live experience that I’m use to with the sugar factory name
