Was in Miami from Ottawa, Canada and was so excited to take my kids to this experience. I was so disappointed. It was so dirty. Stained cushions, ice left on cushion seats, dirty sticky tables, destroyed sticky menus.... and the washrooms - disgusting. There was nothing upscale about this place except the prices. I’ll admit, it was spring break and super busy but ewe....my thoughts of this place are completely trashy, dirty and gross!!!
Wish I had of waited and gone to a more upscale location.
Our server was very friendly and efficient however. Thank you for that.
This restaurant over charges for everything. The food isn’t even that good. Definitely not worth it. Very expensive place for no reason
Got the wrong order. I ordered salmon but got steak.
Very slow service.
The food was very overpriced. It was spring break and they charged an additional $2 or $3 per item. This was noted on the front of the menu. I assumed this meant food items, but it also applied to drinks.
It’s loud, overpriced and the food is so-so.
I've heard things about sugar factory it seem great knew it was pricey but it is wayyyyy to overpriced so my boyfriend decided take me there for my birthday I must say they are not worth it small portions the drinks were good but not worth $42 We brought a birthday cake and the front desk rep failed to mention it would be $35 charge for plates or serve to the cake we were trying to cut the cake ourselves and for plates it was still a $35 charge so we ate it on a napkin yes a napkin!which was ridiculous but it was a ice cream cheesecake couldn't waste the cake the server wasn't really friendly seem like he hated life he even took the small plates away when we first sat... plates we could've use to eat the cake might I add . My boyfriend and I order 3 drinks and 2 burgers that's it our check was $220 the check showed a charge of a resort fee which we did not stay at ,a state tax fee and automatic gratuity of 20% which he did not deserve . I dont usually write bad reviews but it was my birthday. I wanted to save people the trouble of going here or at least be prepared to waste money for a poor experience and overpriced everything absolutely terrible.
Don’t waste Your time or money going to this place this service is horrible because they automatically add the gratuity so they don’t have to work for anything very average to below average food . Overpriced drinks this place is a Tourist trap Find somewhere else to go this is not worth it
It was my baby sister’s 15ty bday. Everything she originally ordered they did not have. She wanted the drink with the cotton candy, they were out, she asked for the drink with the two owls, they didn’t have the owls, then she asked for the cheesecake dessert and they were out. The service was excellent, but the food was average for the overall price we paid. Parking was horrible, so we had to valet and that cost $25 plus tip... pretty usual for SoBe. It’s a cool place, but they really need to step up the food quality for the prices they are charging.
Would not return or recommend. The service was slow, the food was incredibly overpriced and was horrible.
It’s really expensive. Wouldn’t recommend going unless its a special occasion.
Great food, I was there on a Saturday night celebrating my birthday and when I ordered dessert so they could sing to me, they forgot.. I was bummed but the manager gave me my dessert on the house.. I still wished they’d remember to sing. They were focused on bigger parties, and I was just a table of 2.
It was okay nothing great
Slioooooooooooooooooooowwwww. You pay for a front row seat at the SOBE action. Drinks and milkshakes looked amazing!
The drinks were great, but the service was terrible, they took too long to bring out the food, the waitress kept forgetting to bring items we asked for, she took a long time to bring the checks and when she brought the checks, she added additional items that we didn’t have, the atmosphere was energetic, but the service was horrible.
I went to sugar Factory specifically for the paella and fish bowl drinks. My actual waiter was okay, but the food took an hour. Also, another waiter checked on my table a few times. When I ordered my food, I asked for the calamari to be omitted from the dish; however, it still came with it. The waiter who stopped by periodically told me to just push the calamari to the side and that it added flavor. 😑 If I pay $50 for a meal, I expect it to be the way I asked for and not to be told to push items that I did not want to the side. Needless to say, customer service was not great.
Very expensive for the quality of food. Not clean either.
Celebrated my daughters Sweet 16 and it was amazing! The food was good and they brought out a huge sundae with sparklers, dimmed the lights and played her favorite song over the loud speaker while the entire staff sing Happy Birthday!!! It was the best time ever!
Went to the Sugar Factory for my daughter's birthday. She loves it there. Service and food were okay, but the reason to be there is for the hype. Their drink goblets are great for pictures, and make the experience somewhat unique, but the food really is good but not great. The hostess and floor managers were great during the whole process, our server was also good but they were quite busy, so the service in general was good but not great.
The beers were not very cold. The dessert was really, really good. So, it is a fun place to go for a special occasion, especially kids birthdays but is not the place to go for an extraordinary meal.
I enjoyed it !! Very family friendly
Great place to eat and have fun.
Everything was perfect my kid love it, be at food and desserts
Horrible service. Came in for a anniversary dinner and we waited 30 mins for anyone to come over to us. And another 15 mins for drinks. Food was old and cold.
Celebrated our daughter's Birthday! Had a great time, we went during weekday off hours, we had the whole inside to ourselves!
Food was cold and had hair in it. Food is average and overpriced. I will not return there.
It was such an amazing experience and I really enjoyed myself. I will
be returning very soon
Not a fan of no parking lot. When you first pull up to the restaraunt no one speaks any english. Getting the car back from valet took forever. And $40 for a drink you finish in a few sips is ridiculous. The atmosphere is awesome. Food portions could be bigger.
Highly satisfied, great service and good food. Wonderful seenery!
Great and patient server Matt we had never been before and it was definitely an experience!
My twins wanted to go for their birthday! Service was amazing! Their milk shake and big green apple drink was awesome but the food was average. It’s a fun place though!
Service was amazing! Food was pretty good too
The food was lousy and overpriced!
The drinks at this establishment from the special milkshake to the 60 ounce goblet mixed drink. This was an awesome experience and made me enjoy the Miami trip so much better.
Service was not good at
All. I would not recommend to anyone.
The atmosphere outside seemed exciting, inside it was a little more calmer. The place could use a good cleaning, right down to the menus which were very dusty and sticky. The place looks like it could use a revamp; especially after seeing on their screen all the other Sugar Factory locations which seemed more upscale and clean. Staff was not unpleasant but weren't going out of their way to make our first experience memorable in any way. In fact, the waitress seemed a bit bothered when she brought my drink and I was busy taking a picture. Ridiculous price for the drinks; we ordered 'The Drake' which was $48.00 and was delicious but not much more than an orange soda. The food for some of our party was good and for others not; so mixed reviews on the food. Overall, we are glad we went but left feeling a little disappointed with the overall experience.
Service was bad. Food was pretty bad. Ambiance was non existent. Apparently they don't do the same things that other Sugar Factories do to celebrate birthdays. We talked to three different workers and got different answers about how the birthdays are celebrated. It's very touristy at this location and because they will automatically get a 20% tip (it's already in the bill) the service stinks. We really waited 30 minutes for water.... and another 10 after asking for salt and pepper. If you want junk food and a place to just say you went while in Miami than this is it. I wouldn't do it though.
All I will say is that I will never return 1st experience will be my last!!!
Was very expensive for what we actually had but was still great vibe and experience as hadn’t been before. So worth the visit.
We went for my daughter's birthday - four girls and one adult. The restaurant was almost empty, but service was still very slow. We got hamburgers with fries, which were mediocre, and one drink the girls shared, and the total was $175 (the tax and the 20% included tip). The large drink was $40 with alcohol, or $36 without alcohol, which seems wrong - it was essentially soda with candy in it, and a little dry ice. I would have expected it to be less without the alcohol. The restaurant does not do anything special for birthdays, other than put a sparkler into whatever incredibly overpriced dessert you choose to order. We decided to get ice cream at the store on the way out instead. The menu is fun, but not worth the price. If I ever go back, we might just go for milkshakes as a treat, but certainly not for dinner.
We were ignored for 10 mins before a waiter came to the table. Food was mediocre. Desert and drinks are definitely their specialty.
