Extremely expensive. Menu prices did not reflect the bill. Every item was $2 more. Service very, very slow. Got my drink after I had finished my meal. 2% resort fee and automatic 20% gratuity added. Will not return!

Terrible service, horrible attitudes. We had reservations and still waited an WHOLE HOUR to be seated. Kept getting the run around when we asked about how long it would take to be seated. Luckily the drinks were good, but very overpriced. Good for the experience but we will never be back.

This was the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant. Service was horrible. Ordered 3 milkshakes and 2 appetizers it took well over 45 minutes to bring out. We sat at the table with empty water 8 oz plastic water cups for 45 minutes. Waiter only came over twice to take order and bring check (40 minutes after food was brought) nothing in between. Will never visit this location in Miami again!!

Absolutely terrible. Buyer beware $200 for trash. Anywhere in Miami is a better

1. We got there and initially had food attentive service. Once our door was ordered... getting refills, check ins, and our bill took forever
2. We were a group of 4. We sat down, reviewed the menus and were ready to order. One girl pointed that her menu had a sticker added to the front page that said “all items were plus $2.00 ea”. We checked all 3 other menus and they did not have it. We assumed it was accidental for few reasons: never in my life did a menu have printed prices and then a random sticker saying “all items are plus $x dollars than on the menu” (I was traveling but this is my third time to Miami and I never had this). The waiter made no mention of this. There were no special events, the place was pretty empty. Oh, and the fact that three menus did not have anything of the kind written on the menu. When we got the check it was much higher than priced and we found out that they added $2 per every single item. I asked the waiter and he said “all the menus have a small sticker on the front that this would happen” and he said he could do nothing. I had specifically request a manager. She came over already on attack saying I had no reason to be upset and that I was rude for addressing this. After back and forth she said she would discount each item to remove the $2 but we would still be paying the 20% service charge because she was giving us a discount (she was not! She was charging us what we should have been charged)
3. The food was mostly garbage. The Mac and cheese burger that is pictured throughout the website with over flowing macaroni and cheese had maybe a quarter cup of macaroni and cheese. You couldn’t even see the macaroni and cheese until you lifted the bun to see if it was really there. The south beach flare burger was terrible and had no flavor. The person I was and myself, took two bites. The fries were cheap shoe string fries. The only good thing was Mac pops

The only reason we went was because it was on groupon, otherwise NO way. The drinks were good, we did not eat, but it is WAY over priced. We got a goblet, martini and milkshake and our check was over $100. We also made a reservation, which they didn’t have. When I showed them my email reservation they said oh yea, now I see it. I asked to sit outside and they told us that it was going to be a 30 minute wait because reservations were for inside only. I asked where it says that at, she told me the website. NO where on the website does it say that. They do cater to the kids, which was nice, but still not worth the price.

I have been to the sugar factory in Orlando and have been more than satisfied. I love the way they do the birthdays in Orlando. This one in Miami was quite boring and the staff were snobbish. It took forever for parts of my partys food to come out. The manager did give a free King Kong to suffice but still I would not recommend .

We went down to Miami’s Sugar Factory for my daughter’s birthday. We have been to the location in Orlando and loved it which made us choose this location to try.
First we arrive 10 minutes early for our reservation and they were most happy to seat us then and said not to even worry about the reservation check in time which I thought was nice. The restaurant itself was in a great location. We sat right down with no problem there were many available tables for a Friday night. Restaurant was a little dirty. Tables were not very clean and the edges of them clearly were catching the food and spills from previous guest. Staff was all over the place there was no order. Took awhile to get a server and then he disappeared. Another person came out 10 minutes later and brought us water. Finally he shows up to take our order. Food was bad. Half of the appetizer wasn’t edible. Main course comes and 1 person out if the 4 of us got the right thing. Mind you it took a good 20 minutes to get. Second round of food to replace the wrong food took about 35 minutes to get and it was burned or rubbery so it was returned. When we book the reservation we specified it was a birthday dinner and that was totally ignored. I found our waiter on the other side of the restaurant talking with another employee. I asked at that point for him to bring over one of their famous desserts for her for her birthday and try to be secretive. He comes back to the table about 10 minutes later and asked which dessert I wanted to get for my daughter in front of her. Ice cream Sunday was good and it was brought out with a flaming candle and sparklers that was nice also and they sang happy birthday to her. There was a couple of positives but experience as a whole was poor. Will not be returning to this location. Does not mean I won’t go to another Sugar Factory because the Orlando experience was great just not this one

Got our order wrong. Service was poor with only 3 other customers in there. Food was good. After we left, they had people outside trying to lure people in ...offering 50% off food. We told them we just ate there and didn't get that. They said they just started it. Vegas store was way way way better.

I brought my kids to the Sugar Factory for my son’s birthday. They loved it, but I have to say that I was perturbed by the addition of a $2.00 surcharge to every menu item due to a festival that was going on on Miami Beach. This was not disclosed to me when I made the reservation, and was dropped on us without notice when we got there. There was also no reason for it whatsoever (other than to make the restaurant more money), given that the place was almost empty when we got there. To make matters worse, when we tried to order one of their special milkshakes, they informed us that they were sold out of them. So we traveled all the way down there for a special dinner at a special place, and were stuck with extra charges and not able to get what we came for. Very disappointing.

I’ve been thinking of trying this place due to the novelty sugary drinks and desserts. With that being said, I was not expecting the food to be good but I was pleasantly surprised. The waitress was very friendly. The atmosphere was upbeat and fun. I felt like a kid in a candy shop. Although the novelty drinks are expensive it’s worth the look of them. My 5-year Old is still talking about the gum balls that were on the outside of his cup.

Was a bit dissatisfied with ordering the rainbow burgers. They were cold and they missed a color. The plate represents the super factory logo, with that being said every plate should be consistent. I mentioned this to my waiter Tibor. And he completely lied by saying I will fix the order for you. He later came back and told me they ran out of the blue buns which was a total lie because several people ordered after me and their plates were correct. Came all the way from NJ for my birthday celebration just to be disappointed and ignored. Tables and surrounding area could have also been cleaner. Thank God I used Groupon because I would not have been happy paying for my disappointing meal.

We booked this restaurant for Easter brunch with our 2 teenage children. What a mistake! Service was slow (reservation was at 11:30, food was not served until 12:15, restaurant was not crowded). When we finally did receive our food, the order was wrong. Now after a horrible experience, the restaurant claims we didn’t show and I am having a hard time getting my points. I will never go here again! It could be a fun place but they do not care about their customers and it is obvious! I had a much better experience at the one in NY.

This place is a mess. When my guest and I walked in the host just looked at us for several seconds without saying a word, no 'hello,' 'welcome,' how can I help you etc??
I finally told him I have a reservation. He checked the reservation on his screen and told me I could go sit anywhere and he'd bring us some menus. He never brought menus! We asked the waiter for menus whenever the waiter brought us water.

It was such a mess and such poor service from the start that we opted to leave.

The food was fun and good, but the service was horrific. The server was nice, but he took forever to bring our drinks. He would disappear for long periods of time too. I guess when the 20% gratuity is included they wait staff doesn’t care about the service they give. Ps. I would never tip less than 20%, however, I felt taken advantage of since it was included and therefore irrelevant. My son ordered the Ocean Blue drink without alcohol and without the liquid nitrogen and it was $36.00 instead of $40.00. Just silly things like that. It was fun for the kids, but completely overpriced. We eat out all the time at expensive restaurants where the service is wonderful AND the cuisine is great. Mediocre service really isn’t worth it.

Was disappointed! Candy was old and for “Sale” food and beverages came out an hour later. Server was very forgetful. They also don’t give the option to tip because they add gratuity, so I’m guessing that’s why they work the way they work because they will still get paid. I recommend NYC Sugar Factory! Miami locations was disappointing.

I knew going in that this was a "special treat" lunch and that I would overspend for what I was getting. However, never in my wildest dreams did I think I would pay $40 for a drink for two tweens to share. While the girls had a very good pancake lunch, my $20 "Garbage Salad" was appropriately named. It was drowning in what tasted like grocery store bottled dressing and was surprisingly small (almost an appetizer portion) for the hefty price tag... plus, it did not come as I ordered it. Also, the girls were 3/4 done eating before my lunch even came out. I am glad the girls enjoyed themselves, but I think there is a reasonable halfway point between what you are charging and what you deliver.

Food was extremely bland and not special at all. The pricing is very high and really what you're paying for is the experience of the atmosphere but for the quality of food you ar definitely not. The goblet drinks are fun to share and to see them pour into the glass but $42 is not what you want for that as well as they add %20 tip to the bill which I assume it's for the mixing of the drink and them pouring it.

Really If you wanna see something cool then you come here but if you want great food and great drinks then you should go to somewhere like fat Tuesdays or even better done at home. I spent over $220 which isnt much for most but for the quality of food it was not worth it but I will say their service was great and friendly. Very nice staff but just need work on pricing and taste.

Not sure about other locations, but this one was a circus. As a customer it was not amusing seeing people show up, not get waited on and leave. It was chaotic and disorderly. The idea behind $40 cocktails based on candy is a theme that will burn out quickly if they can’t get their act together and provide good food and service. The best part was us trying to pay for an over priced meal and being told by a number of staff that they couldn’t take our credit card. After 20 mins of waiting a manager finally came and got our money. What an experience we will not re-live
