The beach atmosphere is great but leave it on the outside, was there for my daughters 15th birthday. And it was crowded which was fine, but Some of these girls were sitting on the seats inside the establishment in thongs, and they didn't wipe down the seats . The whole time eating dinner we were surrounded with women who had there butts hanging out in thongs. Not appropriate for inside for the amount of money we spent. Feeling disappointed.
I had a wonderful time, the staff was awesome and the food was great!
Overcrowded, overpriced. I've been to other locations, definitely not a contender in comparison.
Rather expensive, Pepsi- $7.00, no refill offered; glass of tea- $7.00, no refill offered. Hamburger (large), chicken sandwich $20 - $21 ea. Only five tables occupied, server not quite attentive. 20% service charge + 7% tax + 2% resort fee automatically added to check. Granted, it is South Beach.
This place is way overpriced and overrated. $44 for a drink and all loaded with tons of sugar and calories. Portions were ridiculously big. Few healthy options especially for vegans or vegetarians. The restaurant was dirty and not well maintained. I don’t see the attraction at all.
Dirty and disgusting. Loud and horrible experience. The menus should have been the first indication that the food would be wretched. Sticky, torn and dirty. Waiter told us he did not have a majority of the items since we had old menus. Bring us new ones? Nope. Save your money. 18% gratuity added for zero service ...
Excelente comida y servicio
Very weird restaurant. There was a sweets store at the front (which sounds cool) and a restaurant at the back that was confusing in terms of who it was geared towards. It was extremely loud with old club music but also had a ton of families. The menu kind of reads like the Cheesecake Factory. Food was fine. Just an odd ambiance. We planned to have dinner there but ended up just getting drinks and an app and going somewhere else for dinner.
Fun delicious atmospheres
The decor was great when you first walked in the door. However, we sat outside and the chairs and cushions where dirty. The chocolate fondue was cold and the quality of chocolate was poor. My friend ordered the Nutella Milkshake and she enjoyed the flavor.
Inattentive, slow service. Overpriced, sub par food. $24 for a vodka soda, $75 for paella. Overrated tourist trap that doesn't even have bathrooms, literally!
First of I don't think any restaurant should have an automatic 20% gratuity charge because not all service from servers are good. I have NEVER spent $500 at any restaurant!! That's insane!! The only thing unique there is the milk shakes and the giant ice cream bowl thing they have but that's $99. Like literally I could have went to Jason's for the same experience and half the price.
Excellent food, good service and very loud atmosphere
The sandwich was great, waiters gave us water without needing to ask, great ambiance. Only negative thing to say is that the goblets should have less ice and more drink for the price they have
Having had a great experience at the AC location, we could not have been more disappointed by our meal at the South Beach location. The food was mediocre. For the chicken and waffles the chicken was dry and the waffles were spongy (and not the delicious waffles served in AC). The salmon salad was so fishy you could smell it coming. The milk shakes were thin and loaded with filler. Meanwhile the price was exorbitant. I don’t think I’ve ever wasted so much money on a meal. And while our server was good, the cashier at the candy counter was incredulous about having to break a five dollar bill for a small candy purchase. There is better food, service, and prices to be found all over South Florida. Don’t waste the money and calories to go here.
Staff friendly, but not understanding "sugar" for coffee. Sauce indicated on the menu as the default option is nowhere to be found nor do they know how to make it. Sat outside and it was comfortable, but it was hard to obtain the server's attention for service even when being one of 2 or 3 tables of customers. Food was tasty and well presented, but (as expected) overpriced. I suppose customers must pay the restaurant's expensive rent on Ocean Drive. I'm glad I used a Groupon to save money. If you have limited funds and want Ocean Drive views, I'd recommend going elsewhere for breakfast. But come by for a treat like a donut or some candy and the experience of visiting the store front.
Excellent service. Great food.
I loved it the food was amazing service was fast everything was just great
Service a bit slow. Drinks mixed up. But overall good especially for families.
My friends 40th bday
Overall my experience was great!! The waiter was very attentive and food was good. The outside tables could be updated some.
Fun experience, great service, parking challenging
Expensive food, server was nice but very slow service.
Since the tip is included, they just don't care if you wait for drinks or for them to come and remove items.
Food was bad, Mac and Cheese burger had BBQ Sauce?, horrible!!!!.
I had a good time at the Orlando Location so i figured Miami was going to be better..... Wrong!!!!!
Even tho Orlando lack of good service, floor was dirty and even gave us a broken chair, the food and ambiance were great so i figured i will give it another chance in Miami.
I don't mind the prices if you provide excellence, but for such horrible food and service no way.
Take your kids buy them candy's and keep Moving.
An expensive diner. Nothing special at all.
Went with my girlfriend for valentines. The ambience was great, the food was amazing, and the servers were super friendly! First time here ! In would go again
The food was served very quickly and everything was wonderful.
Drinks were great! We had a great time and experience.
Great food great service!! :)
Loved the outdoor ambiance and energy! Had the salmon salad and it was amazing.
Fun for tourists, but way overpriced and food is just mediocre. This was my second visit there and the service was not particularly good either time, especially considering there were very few other patrons at the times we were there.
We went to the Sugar Factory to celebrate my birthday. We were amazed by the candy/sugar ambience & amazing selection on the menu. We ordered candy cocktails & milkshakes of grand artistry! Our waiter was very attentive! My ice cream came lit with fireworks! Just wonderful!
Can’t remember the servers name, but he was from Germany. Very friendly. Happy the restaurant could accommodate us for my friends birthday. Had a great time and delicious drinks
Amazing food and deserts! Great place for kids!
Birthday- wS great
The food took forever to come and it wasnt even crowded, and there was bees all over the place disgusting honestly!
Excellent all around! The drinks were way too expensive, but put a smile on my daughter’s face! 😊
There was a 20% service charge included in the check. That explained ALOT. There were plenty of servers, only a few tables seating indoor and outdoor. We sat inside. The servers seemed to be trained on how to politely gaze around the room and completely ignore you. Our server was very polite the few times we saw him.
The environment was like an old time diner with a twist! The twist being candy everywhere. We went just to check the place out because it seemed like a place everyone should try once. We had the watermelon themed goblet and it was a fantastic drink. The only complaint we had was about the sticky tables and almost grimy atmosphere. The whole experience was super enjoyable though don’t let that discourage you from going your self!
Overrated and overpriced. Maybe good for one time and that’s it
