there were actually 4 of us - not 2 - but the 2 new people liked it as much as we always have.
the female belly is always very good, the food is always very good -but- the new waitress talked me into trying the stuffed pepper appetizer. it was really excellent.
another great evening (minus carlos !!)

a hidden neighborhood gem that is catching on. Mediterranean/Persian dishes that are flavorful and reasonably priced. Not to be missed is the Persian ice cream made in house.

We’ve been here so many times in the past and loved it ! This time we came back for Birthday lunch. Their service is still spectacular but the portions are smaller. They used smaller plates and gave less onion, tomatoes, no more pita breads in the plate. Not sure if they just wanted us ask separately or what but a little disappointed. My lamb and chicken were way over grilled and I had to cut off all the charcoal burnt while eating. We also ordered food to go and we were very disappointed to find out later that every piece of lamb chop was 70% burnt and we barely got to eat and enjoy them. If we are going back again we will make sure to tell them not to burn / overcook our food.

we have seen the place for many years -
knew nothing about it-
one friend heard 'it is good', so we went on tuesday.
guy on the phone was very nice - we got there a little late (no problem) -
wanted to try a turkish wine but not sure how it would taste so he gave us a small glass to try - then we got a bottle.
all of the food was excellent and all 3 serving people were great.
it is rare these days to find a new place that hits on all cylinders.

Found Sufiya’s on open table and decided to try it out since I was going to be in the area. We were glad we did. They offer a very nice prefix lunch menu. We started with the house salad and yellow lentil soup both were nice size and very good. Entrees were the lamb kabobs and salmon kabobs, again, both tasty and cooked to perfection. Our waitress if I remember correctly was Christine who was a gem and knows her business. We will return next time we’re in the neighborhood.

Dinner with my daughter. I had the beef stew with basmati rice. Very flavorful. My daughter had the chicken kabob. She said it was very tender and juicy, nice big pieces of chicken. Very filling leaving no room for dessert. Waitress was very helpful and entertaining. Service was very good.

The food is delectable. I have dined here before and Sufiya’s never disappoints! The service is impeccable. Every dish I have tried just makes it easier to come back for more. If you haven’t been to Sufiya’s put it on your list as a must go to. Quiet atmosphere and a very comfortable place to enjoy a night out.

A great dinner! Our server was attentive and charming. The menu was quite broad, with a thoughtful variety of appetizers and salad selections. The pita were hot and soft. The sambusa were outstanding—crispy, with a tart dipping sauce. The kebabs had been well-marinated, and were perfectly paired with some of the best cherry rice I’ve ever had! Recommend highly.

Sufiya's Grill is a small restaurant in a strip mall. The wait staff are very attentive professional and serve with a smile. I chose this restaurant based on reviews and the need to try sonething different. I am so happy I chose Sufiya's Grill. We had falafel for our appetizer and Lamb kebabs for our entree. The Green rice was delicious. The Barberry rice was also tasty. The Lamb was well seasoned and grilled to perfection. It goes very well with the red pepper sauce. The falafel was the best I've ever had. Three patties with a beautiful crispy crust and plated beautifully with sauce and spices. We would definitely dine here again.

I travel a lot for business and I'm always looking for good restaurants near my hotels when I travel that I can get a decent meal. I like variety and love mid eastern cuisine. Sufiya has to be one of the best mid eastern restaurants that I have ever eaten in. They were also very accommodating when I asked for a combination that was not on the menu. However, this is also where I was disappointed how they handled my meal. They priced the combination significantly higher than if I had ordered the items separately and significantly more than a similar combination that they had on their menu. In fact I only swapped out an item for another that, priced separately, were only $1.00 more. But my combination was more than $10 than the menu combination. It made no sense. When I questioned the difference I was told those were "the house rules", but my sense was they just made it up after I made my request.

The food, however was delicious and prepared very well.. my only disappointment with the food was that I requested medium rare for the beef and it came out more like medium well instead. They offer a side of rice that can be prepared in different ways from the standard (there is an up charge for the special rice, but it's worth it). I tried the cherry rice. It was fantastic! They have a short desert list, but the choices sounded good. I was too full to eat desert.

Service is prompt, friendly and professional, but a little abrupt. The dining area is small and they place the tables, in many cases, very close to one another. You cannot help but hear your neighbors conversations and makes the dining area a little noisy. I would prefer a little more space between the tables.

Friendly attentive service and delicious meals. We were a party of 3 and tasted a couple of appetizers with a glass of delicious white sangria. The main courses were well prepared. I love being able to have a salad instead of rice for a small up charge. Very reasonably priced. Save room for warm baklava or try the Persian ice cream. We will be back.
