   I celebrated my 21st birthday at sueños recently and the food & service was wonderful. I ordered 2 pitchers of margaritas & birria tacos with the trio guac which are good options. I wish they played more Latin music instead of American.

   The place was very good. it was a holiday, but the staff was keeping up with the crowd very well. The music before the DJ was a bit loud. The DJ was good and very friendly.

   This review is about the service. If you don’t care about that topic and only food then you’ll love this spot. The food was absolutely delicious. We did not order drinks because we happened to be in a hurry but we thoroughly enjoyed our food. We got tacos, guacamoles and 3 trio, empanadas, then some burrito. Our servers were obviously over it. They didn’t try to mask it and carried their demeanor to the table and only as previous servers were we able to relaid they were tired and not rude. They got our orders wrong. 3 times. We asked for attention to our allergies and they brought the food anyway. We didn’t send it back but simply asked for the substitute to plate ourselves. It seems unnecessary to automatically charge a 20% gratifying. The service was far below 20% service and if we were a larger party like 6 or more I’d understand, but we were just 3.

    We couldn’t be seated at the time of our reservation because the place was so busy, so they let us in to the bar. I was told I would get a text when my table was ready but she didn’t even take my name until I asked if she needed it. The hostess then sat us down after I told her we had a reservation but she couldn’t even find it in the system. The menu for Cinco de Mayo was limited and unfortunately didn’t include the margarita towers we came for. They were out of a lot of the food options and our waitress was very rude. As we were leaving, I got a text saying my table was ready and I went to the hostess to let her know and it seems like she didn’t confirm it because I got a email the next day assuming I didn’t go. I was really excited to go and the music was definitely a good vibe, but unfortunately the service was horrible.

    Had a terrible experience here! Took over an hour to get a margarita and when it came it was clearly a mix and was not good. The food was okay, but overpriced for what we actually got and a 20% tip was included.

    Having been here previously when my experience was outstanding, I was embarrassed to bring friends this time as the service was subpar. The restaurant was cold—I don’t understand why they persist on keeping the door open—and the drinks were terrible. I ordered a mango margarita and was charged extra for the mango flavoring. This was a total waste of $ as the drink tasted just like a regular margarita. Although they attempted to fix the situation, I left 90% of the drink on the table at a cost of $20 including the 10% tax. The guacamole trio was delicious and the addition of plantains was novel and appreciated. After eating some of guacamole appetizer, I opted for the tortilla soup. It was tasty enough and I appreciated the avocado but overall was not the best. Again, some of the food was very good but the service and drinks sucked.

    Very loud i could barley hear my wife across the table. We where also very surprised when we received our check to find tip all ready on the bill and a service charge. Nothing was posted saving this will be on the bill.

    The food was fresh & tasty and the service was attentive. We loved the guacamole with the plantain chips instead of tortilla chips. The portions were good for the price. The only complaint was how loud it was. We were seated in a quieter spot on the 3rd floor but still had to struggle to hear each other.

    We loved the food! Who doesn’t like street corn! The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant has a great look. The music did get noticeably loader has the night went on which made conversations difficult.

    Outdoor dining was picnic tables in the parking lane of the street. The only thing separating our table from the city busses rumbling by was a broken wooden lattice.

    We've been trying different restaurants in Center City before going to shows. This one looked like a nice enough place and the menu sounded good. It had more of a bar feel to it, though. When we arrived they tried to seat us at a high top table with stools even though I'm walking with a cane and a boot. We were then seated at a dark table in the back corner of the otherwise well-lit place. My companion ordered a margarita and seemed to like it. The food came out rather quickly. We had the appetizer trio and shared fajitas (there were two of us). The guacamole was very good, the Pico de Gallo was sort of bland, and the queso tasted like it had blue cheese melted in the mix. (Yuck). The fajitas were very good and more than enough for two to share. The peppers and onions were cooked perfectly. Overall, it was a passable experience but I doubt we'll go back.

    The food was fine, staff was lovely. Good margaritas. The music was so loud you couldn’t even hear each other. We asked for standard seating and they only have a couple of tables, everything else is bar height tables.

    Food and drinks are fab but it was sooooo loud- like a club at 6pm. Our server was inattentive but she had a ton of tables and was literally RUNNING between them. So, not her fault.

    Great food, great service and great drinks! Restaurant had a good vibe (loved the playlist too). Some of the best and freshest Mexican we’ve had in a while. We especially loved the guac and chip trio. For entrees we had the enchiladas mole and burrito mole and both were delicious.

    This was my first time here. The atmosphere was great, I love that they okay music and you don’t hear everyone’s conversations. The food was really tasty and the service was spectacular. Will return again soon.
