                                      Second time we dined here and the food is incredible! This was my second time ordering the Axe of Perun and it’s BY FAR the best savory cocktail/martini in Cincinnati. Spicy, salty, and pickled goodness. We ordered 8 dishes for four people, two drinks per person, and it was the perfect amount of food to share. We tried a wide variety of the menu: all three dumplings, salat, kartoplya paprikas, holubsti, and the kotleta. The waitress misheard us and actually gave us an order of the khachapuri on the house! My favorite was the cod pelmeni if you’re a fish lover, but the table favorite was the Rye Varenky. The wait staff is very friendly and allowed us to order as the night went to determine how much more we wanted to eat. The food and drinks came out promptly each time. Although this place is on the pricier side, I recommend Sudova to all my friends for a special occasion night out. We love trying different regions of food and this Eastern European spot is one of my favorites in the city.

                                      Tried Sudova for the first time last night. As a vegetarian I often struggle to find more than one choice on the menu. I was very impressed that a good portion of the menu was vegetarian or could easily be made vegetarian. The food was absolutely delicious and very fresh/quality ingredients. The chef clearly knows their flavors and spices. Will definitely be returning to try more of the menu. Their outdoor courtyard is beautiful and would be lovely to sip a bottle of wine in the sun.

                                      Loved sharing a variety of delicious dishes with family. Sever thoughtfully reviewed which items were vegetarian. Semolina cake and brownie we tried were amazing!

                                      Food was delicious and traditional. My one comment would be that the dill on almost every dish might be a little bit overkill at times. But overall, we loved everything we tried and plan to come back and try some other dishes!!

                                      The food here is amazing. Really delicious small plates, our group ordered one of each and loved everything we ordered. The servers dropping off food were great but our table’s server was terrible. We had to ask for water first and then he never brought more after our water glasses and craft was empty. We had dirty plates in front of us the entire night, another server came over and took some of our dirty plates and glasses but he never did. So even after paying the bill, three out of the six of us had dirty plates and glasses in front of us. Really unprofessional. Would come back for the food but would ask for a different server.

                                      Every menu choice we made at Sudova was delicious, and the atmosphere and attention to detail made a special evening very memorable. The courses arrived right on time (we shared every plate), and the white wine choices were perfect. We loved everything about our dinner and look forward to returning!

                                      This place is a consistent favorite of ours. Very interesting food, prepared with attention to detail. Especially loved the cheese spread on grilled bread and the cod dumplings

                                      I have a new favorite Cincinnati restaurant. Three of us shared five dishes, and each dish was stellar. My favorite was the Halushki followed by the Kartoplya Paprikas. The cocktails were also excellent and unique — I particularly liked the Axe of Perun which contains pepperoncini vodka. The layered honey cake was also excellent. Great, attentive, helpful, and friendly service as well. Really looking forward to going back. Such a great representation of contemporary Polish and Ukrainian cuisine.
