SubUrban Bar & Kitchen
Overall a good place if you were there for happy hour or to watch a game.
Food was nothing special and a bit pricey for the quality.
Server was very nice
Great food, great service, great price. I gave ambiance 3 stars for the noise, a bit much for my tastes at dinner.
We LOVE suburban kitchen! Great location, always a good meal and drinks and the best staff! They always accommodate us! The live music is a blast as well!
Great time. Service was awesome and the unique menu is killer!
Waitress seemed annoyed with us the second we sat down. I asked for a spicy margarita and got a regular one. She apologized and I told her how much I love spicy. I asked for hot peppers on my short rib tacos. I didn’t get and by the time she checked on us my 3 friends were almost done eating. I said even just hot sauce would work if you can’t get me hot peppers or jalapeños. She said she would ask the kitchen for sauce or hot peppers. After my friends were done she slammed down a bottle of Tabasco. No thanks. I ate about two bites and wasn’t even offered anything.
Also, the music was SO loud and the singer was horrible. Feel bad saying that but it was really difficult to listen to.
Never going back.
Food was good. I love the eclectic menu. Service was a tad slow, but our server was running around, and very attentive, and we weren’t in a hurry so overall not. Huge deal. Very loud as there’s nothing to buffer the sound, but overall a nice night out with good food and drinks.
Service was excellent. 2 out of 3 meals were excellent! Drinks are overpriced and overly small. Margaritas served in rocks glass with mostly ice. Live music was a bit too loud.
It was a great way to celebrate our family members’ birthdays!
Food was very good, however, calamari appetizer was very small portion for the price. For only her third day, our waitress was outstanding!
We love this place, great food and craft beer selection.
Brittany was the best!
The entire staff at Suburban is welcoming and efficient. The food is delicious. Great time.
Food was excellent and the wait staff was attentive. This was our first time eating here and we will return with friends.
Great food and cocktails
This was our first time trying SubUrban and we really enjoyed it! The service was friendly and efficient. I'm sorry I can't recall our waiter's name. The food was delicious. Four of us shared two appetizers and had four sandwiches for dinner. We started with the calamari and Mexicali chicken dip, which were so good. Then we had two s.b.k. burgers (both prepared to the correct/requested temperatures), a high brow cheesesteak, and a bringin' pickle back, which I had. The chicken was moist and juicy on the inside with a delicious briny flavor and the fry was crispy - so good!! We shared two pieces of cheesecake (one old fashioned and one Nutella), which were also delicious. Oh, and the drinks. I had The Old man and the Heat cocktail and loved it so much that the rest of my companions got it as well. It's a super tasty spicy margarita that I highly recommend. OK, so why only 4 stars instead of 5? The atmosphere does not match the menu. Inside is a dark, tired, sports bar with no character.
Great place for a moderately priced meal. Pink sangria was delicious!!
Tacos were innovative and chock full of short ribs but the truffle fries, $3.00 up charge, were definitely disappointing.
Grilled cheese with short ribs were just OK
Great food at Suburban Bar & Kitchen! Never disappointed and loving bring my family and friends to check it out.
This was our first time eating at this restaurant under its new name. The food was excellent and we plan on going back. The svelte melte burger and the fried chicken meal were delicious and the cheesecake from a local bakery was outstanding.
All four of us had different things to eat, but everyone thought the food was fabulous. It's an interestingly varied menu. The food is lovingly presented and perfectly cooked. Our waiter, Brendan, was helpful with out being intrusive, attentive to empty glasses and plates, and friendly. His enthusiasm for SubUrban itself was a nice touch.
We will certainly return -
The food was excellent . The four of us liked everything from the martinis to dinner. The one thing that would keep
Going back is they had live music which was good BUT it was loud we could not hear each other . Maybe the need to change the ceiling for Better acoustics
Every meal is always good. Great place to have a good meal, listen to live music and have a good drink.
I went to SubUrban to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The staff was professional and personable. The burgers were awesome and they made my daughter feel great.
PERFECT FOR PARTIES AND EVENTS**
I recently hosted a bridal shower in the back room. From the initial booking to the actual event, everything was handled with such a high level of professionalism and a strong customer focus. Michael was very accommodating and assisted me in finalizing the menu and table configurations. Our servers, Alex and Brandon, had everything set up upon arrival. All of the food offerings were delicious. The service was impeccable, friendly, and VERY EFFICIENT.
The bride to be and the guests were treated to a wonderful time thanks to all at SBK. Can't wait to plan another event.
Wings were soggy and not Buffalo had to send them
Kids penne vodka was pasta in a saffron
I have been here before, but I won’t be going back.
When we arrived, with a reservation, the front staff was completely disorganized and didn’t seem to know what was going on.
The restaurant was half empty, it was dark, gloomy, and it didn’t look clean. There was food here and there on the floor, which was very unappetizing when getting ready to sit down and eat. Our server didn’t check on us to ask if everything was ok until we were done. We had to ask other staff for salt and pepper, etc., as we couldn’t seem to find the server.
Our food was mediocre, at best. The only positive thing I can say was that the portions were huge, but not tasty enough to bring home what we didn’t finish.
When they first opened everything was very good. Now I’m not sure how they stay in business.
The food is always excellent and the service was fantastic. This is my go to spot and I'll keep coming back for the warm welcome, knowledgeable staff and overall enjoyable atmosphere.
Awesome food, service, atmosphere,…. And BEER!!! We love this place!!
The scallops were absolutely incredible!!
We always enjoy a a great meal and the service is consistently outstanding.
Great spot to hangout, relax, and enjoy the music and scenery!
Very pleasant experience.
Our first time at SBK. the food was very good.We had the very indulgent Brussels sprouts , very good! caesar salad, piggy back chicken sandwich, awesome! and steak fries, cooked perfectly and very tender. finished with the cookie fough cheesecake. Our server seemed to be a little overwhelmed with a large party, but she kept checking on us, and we didn't wait for anything. we sat in the room off the bar, it was very loud with everyone talking. we could not hear the entertainment in the bar area and we were very close to where the entertainment was set up. overall good night, we will sit in the bar area next time
Hi Kate, Thank you so much for dining with us. We see you were, for the most part, very happy with your experience. We'd be happy to set you up in a different area of the restaurant the next time you're in. Your kind words are much appreciated! Thank you
Service was great and helpful!
Food was amazing!
Awesome beer selection!
We went with another couple and my friend needs gluten free. I had called and gotten all of the info on what was gluten free and what wasn’t. I was so impressed that the waitress (who was new) took the time to let my friend taste the gf beer, and the manager (I think she was the manager) came over to discuss all of the gf possibilities with the menu. The service was mostly good, especially for someone new. We ordered the brussel sports which I love at most restaurants but here there was way too much Parmesan and it was overpowering- the first time we ever left 1/2 of the dish. The habanero wings were really tasty; however, they completely lacked any spiciness… which is the point when ordering habanero. Then the main dishes came- my mahi tacos were very good and not pricey at all. My friend ordered the salmon since it was gf.. but then she noticed the wontons on the top. You would think that after all of the fuss they made about the gf dishes and the special attention they gave that they would be cautious about what was served. The waitress came over and in fact the wontons were not gf; she took the beautifully presented dish back. Because they remade the dish, the rest of us were completely done eating by the time her food came… and when she got it, the presentation was not the same, the dish was considerably smaller, and it didn’t taste nearly as good as the first time (and my friend never ate the wontons). The manager did come over and when we said it was “fine”, she didn’t get the hint so I mentioned that it wasn’t as good as the first one. Perhaps she didn’t hear me but my friend ate some of the overcooked salmon (the first one was moist) and called it a day. Sort of surprised that after a major screw up like that that they still charged the full $23 for the dish. Although it was my daughter that loved and recommended the place, my husband has no interest in ever going back.
Vibrant noise, great music.. excellent server.. Brittany.. clever menu.. great fiid
We went for a dinner with a group of 10. They had live music and a lively crowd. Service and food was outstanding! The staff couldn’t be nicer! Thanks for making my birthday dinner a night to remember!
Great place for an adult night out or hanging out with a group of friends. The live music was cool but it was very loud and hard to have a conversation, especially if you’re out trying to have dinner with young kids.
At first we were hesitant to go because we disliked the prior restaurant that was in that location. I would say the restaurant was half full and the noise was awful. Cannot imagine the din when it is to capacity. But do not fear, the cuisine was innovative and unexpectedly delicious. We had the calamari and on the server's recommendation opted for the Plato. It was fabulous as was my dish of diver scallops. It was prepared with a corn porridge that I just couldn't get enough of. My husband's salad was very generous with fresh standout ingredients. The chef was formerly at Nicole's Ten and has continued his unique preparations of simple foods - turning them into a gourmet's delight. Can't wait to go back to try out the rest of the menu. BTW we had the most wonderful server. Could not believe it was her first day!!
