   This was our first dining experience at Subourbon, a restaurant we would have not experienced but for our son's suggestion. We had a great experience. Our server, Mike, was very and engaging and guided us through the very extensive whiskey selection. The whiskeys and presentation (appropriate Glencairn) were perfect. Our entrees were outstanding as well. My gumbo had ample shrimp, chicken and sausage, with excellent flavor and heat. My son thoroughly enjoyed his braised short ribs, which appeared to be very tender. To my surprise, my wife ordered a chicken sandwich (she is not one to order sandwiches with fries). She enjoyed her meal as well - and finished it - which very seldom happens. We will certainly return to Subourbon.

   Delicious fried chicken dinner! Especially on their Tuesday special day, when it’s $5 off. They also have a great Happy Hour. This is a place to try if you haven’t been here yet.

   From the warm welcome when I walked through the door, to the selection of drinks and variety of foods - could eat there for a week without ever having the same thing twice! Phenomenal hostess and server! Some day I WILL meet the kitche staff! They are brilliant!

   Had the deviled eggs, calamari, and cornbread to start. Deviled eggs and cornbread were great- cornbread was a little small for $8 though. All of us had different entrees- the fried green tomato melt, blackened catfish, crabcakes, gumbo, and shrimp poboy. I loved the melt and my husband loved his blackened catfish. The others seemed very happy with their meal and raved about the pimento grits that came with the meals. The drink menu had something for everyone and service was great. Had the derby pie for dessert and it was the least favorite thing we ordered so jury is out on dessert but will definitely be back, great dinner !

    Our 3rd visit since movies ti Worthington in July, and this continues to be our Top Choice fin the area for meeting friends for great dinner (at a fair price) in a Saturday evening.
