   Enjoyed Sunday brunch with friends. The food was good and the ambience is elevated over the usual brunch spots. I had the eggs Benedict with crab. Will definitely be back to try the lemon ricotta pancakes.

   We so much enjoyed our celebrating our first anniversary. Our waitress surprised us with flutes of champagne as she greeted us. Dinner was amazing. The live music went perfectly with the evening! At the end of our dinner, our waitress surprised us yet again with delicious chocolate-covered strawberries and blueberries. The valet was also quick with getting our car for us to make our 8:00 pm broadway show. Thank you for making our anniversary so memorable!

   Went here for our 1 year wedding anniversary because it was highly recommended on Google… we were not impressed. Husbands steak was very over cooked. My pasta was over cooked. Cocktails were good and so was the shrimp. Our server was great and brought us free dessert for our anniversary but for a $58 steak to be over cooked… we weren’t pleased.

    The calamari was fabulous, perfect texture. The NY strip was cooked to the perfect temperature and the potato dish served along side it was a delightful combination. I would have preferred some other veggie side like broccoli or green beans or...but not a huge issue. Desserts were fabulous and plentiful...so a great place to get a drink and dessert if not a full meal.

    This was specifically for a Mother’s Day brunch. Pre-set pricing at $75 per person. The spread was decent, but not anywhere close to $75. On top of this, they still charged for coffee and chocolate milk for our little one. Felt a bit weird given the pricing already. Would I do it again? Definitely not. Certainly will give it a shot for a normal meal though.

    We visited for Mother's Day brunch, we went last year and such a positive experience that we decided to return. Service: For a brunch buffet it was really quite terrible. We had our finished plates on the table for a good 10 minutes before someone picked them up, and then we had to track someone down to request new silverware. My drink order was forgotten, and again had to track someone down. Didn't seem like there was enough staff to accommodate everyone. Food: Was ok, we are vegetarians and there was a LOT of meat options, but not much in the vegetarian spectrum. Maybe have meat on the side that can put added to a pasta dish? There was a nice charcuterie board and the pasta that was dredged in the large parmesan wheel was delicious! Desserts looked great when we arrived, but when we were ready to have some they were almost gone and the serving tongs were glued together with sugar. Was it a nice place? Yes. But, definitely not worth the $75 per person. We tipped generously because we've been in the service industry at points in our lives, however we're not busting down the door to go back. Next year will look for another option.

    We've done Easter and Mother's Day brunch at no less than a dozen places and this was by far the best quality we've had in Cincinnati. Utterly fantastic food. And we noticed how much the staff hustled to replace the food, keep it presentable, clean the areas around the food, etc.

    We like Subito very much but found some aspects of our most recent visit rather off-putting. Most annoying was the pianist who was playing music that was much too loud for the dinner hour. I assume she was playing for the drinking crowd at the bar but her rousing numbers made conversation at dinner very difficult. Our server was excellent and the cooking was good—but the kitchen made odd choices, e.g., serving lamb chops in a deep bowl rather than a plate, making cutting awkward, and, oddly, drizzling sticky syrup over the biscotti served with the zabaglione. Imagine picking one up! It’s a good restaurant in a lovely space and could be excellent with a bit more attention to detail.

    We had a disappointing experience at Subito. The atrium bar area is beautiful but we were seated in the side room, by a large window, next to the hotel driveway. Lots of cars and people passing by was distracting. The room was also very chilly. The drinks and menu are pricey, upscale Italian which we knew from checking out the website, beforehand. My dish, the Lemon Carbonara was a small, delicious pasta, but it contained whole peppercorns which made for some unpleasant bites. My husband's dish, Linguini & Clams had the tiniest clams(6) I have ever seen. It was also small, too salty and gritty, as if the clams had not been well cleaned. The wait staff was attentive but the service was extremely slow, for both drinks and dinner. Ironic since Subito means immediately in Italian. We have been to many fine dining/special occasion restaurants in Cincinnati and elsewhere. Unfortunately the only thing Subito has in common with them is the high prices. It just did not measure up. We will not be returning or recommending.

    This is our fourth time dining at Subito and taking in the views of the rooftop bar. Our out of town guests were very impressed with the ambiance and food. The Tomahawk was shared by three couples and other various delicious entrees. Manhattan's were a hit with the ladies. A great place to impress out of town guests.

    We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here at Subito. Love everything about it. Ambiance, food, service; all were fabulous. So romantic including ending the evening on the roof for a nightcap. Probably my favorite spot in the city.

    The decoration is beautiful with a calm ambient. The menu offered many delicious italian inspired options, and so was the wine list. Victoria the waitress gave us excellent recommendations to celebrate our 24th anniversary, and she even gave us champaign and chocolate covered strawberries to celebrate.     Cocktails took forever and one of them was wrong twice. First one they sent the wrong thing. Second one didn’t seem to be made right….. Ratio of ingredients was off. Cacio e pepe tasted watery. Needed salt and cheese and even then didn’t taste right. Restaurant offers bread which we saw on other tables but we weren’t offered any. Had to ask the server during our main course to bring some. It was cold, dry focaccia. Lamb was good. Caesar salad was good. Panzanella wasn’t a real panzanella. It was an arugula salad with tomatoes and croutons. Definitely do not recommend and would no return to this restaurant.

    Booked for Restaurant Week as I have been wary of the mixed reviews of this place. The food could have been good, but every dish was drastically underseasoned. Our server was truly terrible...it took him 3 visits to the table to refill our water. I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised, but instead was glad I didn't choose to invest more in Subito. Cincinnati has far better choices at or below this price point. If you're at the Lytle Place, skip Subito check out the rooftop bar—it's lovely!

    This was our first visit to Subito for dinner. We had a lovely meal. We were seated at a table on the porch. It was comfortable with a beautiful view of the outdoor fire pit and the city. We had the restaurant week menu and it was delicious! Our server was outstanding. Dot was very conscientious. We will return to Subito!

    Asked to be seated in the window room, but was told it was closed for the evening only to watch several parties be seated after us in the same space. Ordered the lobster ravioli and it was drenched in pepper so the taste was off. Told the waiter but he did not seem overly concerned about our satisfaction level. I was very disappointed with my entrée because I had it in February and it was very good the 1st time. This time It was very disappointing. A member of my party asked for chicken to be added to her pasta meal -she received bacon but no chicken. The waiter said he forgot to add it. Overall it was a disappointing culinary experience- was there to celebrate a friend’s birthday and was not happy.

    We went to Subito for my son’s 18th birthday. From previous visits, I knew we would enjoy the ambience & food. The entire staff was friendly & attentive. Our server, Gina, was excellent! Most importantly, she helped make it a great birthday dinner!
