My husband and I went to Subito for my birthday dinner and because it was close to the Taft Theatre where we had tickets to a show. I’m very obviously 8 months pregnant with our second child. The waitress greeted us with glasses of non alcoholic champagne. This made my entire evening! The gesture and the fact that I had another option over sugary

Amazing experience! Came for restaurant week, never been prior. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous and the restaurant wasn’t too noisy. Dot was my server and she was awesome! Super fun to chat with and had great recommendations. The meal itself was outstanding and a great value. Will definitely be back!

Our sever Gina made this night extra special…sharing her birthday with our anniversary. Even the staff signed a card for us! Subito now part of lifetime memories for us. Thx to the entire staff for an amazing celebration…and for Gina’s orchestration of the whole experience.

Lunch at Subito at noon with a reservation was underwhelming. Restaurant was slightly less than half occupied. Gas fireplace added to ambience but was too warm for a day in the 70's. Floor-to-ceiling glass offered lovely view of plantings and umbrella'd patio, also not-so-pretty cranes and other building equipment nearby. Our server was very attentive and kind with menu knowledge. Not sure what was wrong in the kitchen, but it took almost one hour to get food on our table. My companion's pizza was "the best ever had." From the taste I took, I might agree. I had the pasta Bolognese. The sauce was quite acidic and lacking the depth of rich flavor I normally associate with Bolognese. The tartness of the cheese just didn't accompany it well as a result. With much construction nearby, our walking instructions were confusing to find the entrance. I'm afraid I'd be in no hurry to return to Subito for awhile.

Great ambiance and service. Staff could not have been nicer. Food was good. A little to heavy(cream sauce) for us, but cooked perfect and taste was great. Victoria our server was top notch even while serving a large corporate party. We will go back for sure. Bar is amazing!

We were in town for our anniversary but not staying at the hotel. We checked in at the host stand about 45 minutes before our reservation. The hotel itself is a nice blend of older architecture with a modern touch. Victoria at the stand offered to seat us early or suggested we walk around the area with a booklet provided by the Lytle Hotel highlighting the history of the neighborhood and Cincinnati. After a 2 hour drive, we opted to talk the walk and were grateful for her suggestion. Upon our return, Victoria seated us and turned us over to our server, Ryan, who could not have been more helpful and attentive. He helped guide us through wine selections, appetizers, and the other courses. There was also a piano player in the foyer who played an excellent combination of music. The food was well prepared and both Victoria and Ryan kept checking on us to make sure we were satisfied. We would definitely return to eat and consider staying at the Lytle as well. I would also recommend using the valet at the hotel as parking around the area was challenging due to construction.

Our positive experience began with a wonderful hostess bringing us to our table. Dot, our server, was attentive but gave us space to enjoy every course of our meal. The food was delicious and outstanding homemade dressings, pasta and sauces! Fresh ingredients! Concluded with delicious dessert! The atmosphere on the cozy glasses in porch; linen tablecloths and three piece band playing in the background added to our experience!

My husband and I dined in for dinner. We started with the margarita pizza which was very tasty! My first course was the bolognese. The flavor was good just wish it had a pinch more salt. My main course was the lamb. It was cooked perfectly. But the accompanying potatoes were slightly underdone. The fresh bread was wonderful. We also had cocktails which were great! Our server was also friendly and attentive.

Classy but comfortable. Intimate dining combined with vibrant socializing in one. The restaurant and boutique hotel have many different spaces that make you want to discover what's around the corner, down the hall, behind the bar, up the stairs or outside by the fire pit. The piano singer provided the ambiance, the kitchen provided the most delicious rustic Italian dinner (scallops and chicken with pasta), and the bar primed us before a concert down the street!

Will definitely be going back. Food was good overall. My friend had the cobb salad with chicken and the chicken was dry. After she put salad dressing on it, she said it was pretty good. We went during brunch hours and the salad wasn't technically on the brunch menu, but they still allowed her to order the salad, for that we were very appreciative. I had the banana bread French toast with a side of goetta and it was divine. The service was great and so was the ambiance. Looking forward to going back soon.

This was out first time at Subito. My wide and are celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary. The food, atmosphere, and service were fantastic. Our servers were always helpful and never overbearing. As good as our entrees were, the salads stood out. We also appreciated the complimentary champagne and dessert for our anniversary. We will be back.

The food is just average. Our server recommended the salmon appetizer which was very fishy and just not good. Lamb chops, salmon and desserts were a average. Wine was best part of the meal.

We’ve been to Subito many times and always enjoy it. Last night we particularly enjoyed the piano serenading us as we ate. The bolognese is always our favorite. Our filet was prepared as we asked but lacked seasoning. The garlic butter wasn’t able to make up for that unfortunately. Everything else was top rate. We’ll be back:)

We enjoyed lunch at Subito. I had Cobb salad; my husband Caprese Taritne. We both enjoyed our choices. There is construction next door so there was some noise, but it was understandable and dd not detract from our meal. Our service was great (Joyce/Joy?) as was our welcome by the hostess. No complaints.
