We had such an amazing evening at studio 99. Our server Bernadette was personable, accommodating, helpful and friendly! Bernadette went above and beyond to serve us and answer all the questions we had. Prices were astronomical as per usual. Definitely plan to spend significantly if you attend any function at Rogers. Thank you again to Bernadette and studio 99!
Food was OK at best. Prices are ridiculous. Not sure why we went to eat here but we won’t do it again. Way over priced. Only 6 things on the menu. Save your money and if you want to over pay for food there’s way better places with in a 5 min walk!
We attended the Luke Combs concert Oct 11th. There was no buffet, only a very limited a la carte menu that only consisted of about 6 items. Wings, nachos, pretzels, tortilla chips with queso, Caesar salad and some kind of dessert. We shared an order of wings and the tortilla chips with queso and had two signature drinks. Our bill was $103.50 with gratuity. While I recognize arenas are pricey that price point is totally unreasonable for basic bar food. There are many other restaurants in the ice district and I won’t bother going back to Studio 99.
Pretty cool experience. Would have liked it if there were some other items to eat other than the buffet. The menu we found online had other things like nachos and wings. Found it a bit pricey, but I get it -- it's an experience. Bottom line, we enjoyed ourselves and it was an experience. Did it blow my mind? No, but it was cool.
Very good food and excellent service. There was a good selection of food (taco bar the best) and they have really upped their game this year. Went from 3 stars last year to 5 stars this year.
Good times but way to loud. Hard to communicate with everyone
Game night with one of my kids
This place is amazing! Fiancé and I went here for our 10 year Anniversary! Best choice ever the food was so good, best part was getting to see Wayne Gretzky in person and get to go treats to take back to our seats at the game! One thing I would say is the alcohol is really expensive. Also maybe have pitchers of water and such available to serve ourselves. Would come here again and again
There seems to have been a decrease in menu selection compared to previous visits and featuring the new desserts available elsewhere in the arena would have been a nice touch.
A must do for any hockey fan! Great food, great memorabilia and we were lucky that the Great One himself along with other alumni were the when we were.
Gretzky even showed up for an interview in the restaurant
Great way to kick off any hockey game stop in at Studio 99. I would recommend booking early and getting in and enjoying your meal before the doors open at the rink. It beats standing in line, delicious food and an amazing atmosphere I would recommend it
Had a fantastic night ! Love the live 630 Ched broadcast. Staff is fantastic!!! Drinks were good. Bags of munchies for the game in our seats was fun. Meeting Marty McSorley- Priceless!!!
Will definitely be returning to this fine establishment!!
Loved it. The memorabilia was amazing. Cool atmosphere and the food was good too.
Would of been 5 Stars all the way if is was not for the broadcasting volume being much much too loud. Would highly recommend
If you're seeking a place to dine where you have to yell at your table guests by talking over a live radio broadcast that is amplified through the entire dinning area, this is the place to go. It just spoils a great evening of wonderful food and service.
Cody is best server! Attnetive and always fun to take to
Awesome Day! Great place to go for a bite to eat before the Game!!
Far too expensive for snack foods. All too greasy, not many veggie fruit salad choices
Waited 35 mi s to even take drink order- then forgot drink order- finally got drinks but had to leave concert starting! Would but waste my time going here before a venue again. Grossly understaffed which makes no sense as the restaurant was sold out for mos!
Service was poor. Sat for at least 10 minutes and finally approached a floor manager to ask for a server. When server finally came to our table she apologized and said she didn't see us sitting there. She walked past us at least 4-5 times. We were then rushed and couldn't enjoy our experience by the time we finally got served. We were one of the last patrons there because of the length time waiting for our check.
The food was fantastic, nice to be able to have a sit down meal before an event right in Rogers Place. It was a bit on the expensive side for a buffet.
Super busy which we expected; however, the service was super slow. Ordered classic martinis, not sure what we were given, some sort of weird sweet drink, sent them back, took 30 minutes and only after flagging down a manager were we given new martinis without olives. The drinks where taken care of by the manager, but we wasted previous pre show drinking time waiting. The buffet looked good, we didn’t eat on this visit.
Our group of 4 arrived early before our 6:45 reservations. We were greeted and put in a special line to attend 99. We then waited almost 15 minutes before getting through security. The accessible line beside us moved at three times our pace. We were not ushered by a hostess once through the line - we wandered away, then back & found the hostess who we'd walked past and asked for help finding where to go - she walked us to the elevators. By the time we actually go to the restaurant it was 7:10 pm We had arrived at security at 6:35 pm. We were then informed that the only option for food was the $45 buffet - I had not been advised that when booking. I had checked the menu online and there were a few (not many!) other options. But not available during concerts? That should be on your site. Ordered a round of drinks & waters for the 4 of us and 2 of us had the buffet. Service was only ok. Friendly, but no waters though we asked. Ceasar was awful and sent back - and changed for a water (but still only brought 1). When billing (2 separate bills), never saw a bill simply the credit machine with a total. It was way to high so we asked what was charged? She charged each couple for 2 buffets (so 4 in total)!?! Even though there were only 2 plates on the table and 2 sets of utensils unwrapped. She apologized and corrected the total. This was now 15 min before the concert was to start. If we had not double checked and paid attention instead of rushing to get to our seats - and we were rushing because we were seated 1/2 hour late?!? that we would have been ripped off.
We booked 99 because we thought it would be fun, convenient, and timely. It was not. None of us will be back. And that includes Oiler games that one couple attends regularly. We will also recommend that people stay away from 99 - there are way more choices available. Ball dropped 99.
I absolutely loved bringing my Husband Here for dinner before our concert. They always have amazing food and the service is excellent.
Pre Elton John concert meal
This is a must for any show! You're going to spend the money on drinks and snacks anyways, you might as well get in early, beat the lineups and have some good food and drinks before a show!
My husband and I Had a great time at Studio 99 before the epic Elton John Concert. The buffet was the only food option and I felt it was a bit pricey for what was offered ($45)and the food was good but It did lose 2 stars because a lot of it was room temperature so not as tasty. (5 stars though for the delicious oysters and meatloaf though specifically). The ambiance was great and the service for drinks was absolutely awesome. We had a great time here before heading to our seats and would definitely recommend coming here if you have the money for it!
We were rushed through dinner to attend Elton John. For the price of the buffet there wasn't much of a selection. We won't be back.
They over sat the tables making the staff overworked. The dessert table had stale items (the sticky bun with the popcorn and the cookies). Only redeeming quality was getting our drinks for free to make up for the wait time. Other waiters/waitresses wouldn't clear our bill so we were late to the concert, that was our fault though, if its busy we would recommend asking for your bill after you receive your drinks. Not worth the price for a buffet.
Food was grossly overpriced at $45 per person for a buffet that featured sliders, hot dogs and wings. Service was extremely poor. The server was so late with the bill that we missed the opening of the show. He had to track us down at our lodge seats to settle the bill.
1. There weren't any choices for vergetarians, except for hummus and dry bread. Ended up picking a pepper off the display so I had to something to eat.
2. Food was mostly deep fried or unhealthy. This was a huge waste of money for deep fried food.
3. There was a huge line up so we had to wait forever to choose our meals. Our table was right next to the line up, so we had no privacy while we were eating because there were people who were resting their elbows on our table as they waited in line.
4. We only had 45 minutes to eat dinner before the concert by the time we got through the Rogers Place security, so we only had time to fill up our plate once. So much for a buffet!
On a positive note, the waitress was sympathetic and very skilled at her job.
Food was amazing! What fun night. Family friendly. Thank you.
There was a problem with opening security in ford hall so was rushed to eat. We arrived about 6:20 for the 6:30 reservation and did not get to our table till approx 7 so because of the line up the food and everything was lined up and was not enough time to enjoy. Need to either open sooner or have a better system to get to studio 99.
Very disorganized. The food was doused is salt no matter what item. For $45 Buffett it was NOT worth even 1/2 that amount
The staff is always attentive and the food selection in addition to desserts and candy are wonderful. One has to remember that the price is reasonable when you consider the full value proposition of eating in the arena and not having to go through the security line closer to game time!
Server was Awesome
pricing for what you get, improve food offering, the drinks are too expwnsive.
