Studio 99 was only "okay." Food wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. More of a selection at other buffet's but then again it is Rogers place so I didn't expect a huge offering. It was very crowded. Our table chairs were back to back with the table behind us making it very difficult to get in and out.
Amazing experience. Staff is very efficient and friendly. Love the pictures on the wall. Beautiful.
Great environment before Oilers game.

To pricey but good food
First time to Studio 99, the memorabilia is amazing but we were disappointed with the selection of food for 45 dollars each. It was basically just pub type food.
Also great idea to have the pre game show on 630 ched up there but it was so loud we could barely talk
We had the best waiter. He was friendly, courteous and prompt. Very personalized
He made the whole experience better!
Great place to go to before a hockey game!
This was the first time that I went to Studio 99 and it will definitely be the last! A friend and I made reservations for a pre-game meal and went for the 'Great One Night Out' package with relatively high expectations. WOW, what a disappointment. The food was cold, and honestly inedible it was so bad. Not just one or two items, but every single item that was on offer was horrible! I would have thought with the stigma around #99, and the price they could have put out food that was even somewhat appetizing. Save your money. You could have a better meal at McDonald's.
Pricy at first for a Buffet, but you get what you pay for, good selection . A good game time option , book early!
Celebrities or media there are very friendly and engaging. Paul Coffey spent time to go around to tables and talk to people! Awesome!
Hockey fans will not get tired of the memorabilia, it is great! Excellent atmosphere.
Very expensive for the quality of food. Plates for the buffet were wet from the dishwasher.
The food was terrible - wings were cold, food quality is poor and the price for two for the buffet and a jug of beer was $140.
Food was cold amd way over priced for carnival food. Won't be going back there again me and wife spent 130 on a cold hot dog and some perogies.
What a great addition to what was already the best arena in the NHL. A must for any Gretzky fan, with a great array of jerseys, photos, trophies, etc from the Great One's career. We did the buffet - an excellent deal when you consider what you can have and how much it would cost if you were buying it individually from the concession stands in the arena. You also get to see the Oilers pre-game radio show being broadcast live; on the night we were there that meant seeing Glenn Anderson and Andrew Ference. Well done Oilers Entertainment Group! And thanks to Fernanda (hope I got that right) for making us feel at home.
The service we received from our waitress "Tisheena" was outstanding, thank you for a great evening.
Great place , just sometimes I feel you wait a little too long to get an order placed and also to receive a drink order . This is because of customers standing at the bar ordering drinks . If you eliminate walking up to the bar to order and make people order at their seats it would be a much better experience. It can get fairly congested up at the bar .
This is an amazing restaurant. The service was beyond our expectations, and the atmosphere was very loud and energetic. The only down side would be the cost of the buffet compared to the number of dishes to choose from and the quality. There buffet was very small with only a couple salad options, chicken burgers, fries, sausage dogs, and perogies. There was a rib station, but it was always out, and there was a dessert station with cookies, whip cream, and fried dough. For the price we paid, I was expecting a lot more food wise when it came to choice and taste. It was great to try, but I won't be going back.
Overpriced for the selection we felt. Food was good, but not a fan of the chairs at the higher tables, they were uncomfortable. It was almost too loud to have a conversation. Expected a bit more perhaps....
The atmosphere is fabulous!! The $45 per plate for the buffet is very high for the food that was offered. Was a great experience before the game, some menu items would be nice.
Food was delicious lots of choices, service was fantastic
The food was cold but tasty (told Manager and apparently they fixed it). Nice variety of food. Blown away though that Wayne & Walter Gretzky, Eddie Mio, Ron Low, Kevin Lowe, Grant Fuhr and Craig Simpson all casually strolled in to the crowd and were all so genuine with us and other guests. 630CHED broadcaster all mingled and then broadcast live. Great memorabilia all over restaurant too. A really great compliment to the game! But food/drinks pricey!
Awesome place !!!! Great atmosphere
Way better than expected. Great variety. Very loud. Take away bags could be better and easier to dispense.
Fantastic food and atmosphere thoroughly enjoyed the pre-game excitement making for an even better experience for the true Oilers fan!!! Thanks Wayne and staff for Studio 99.....GO OILERS!!!!
Food was OK. Very expensive, 2 of us with 2 beer was over $135 before tip! Location for game day was excellent. Probably won't eat there again. There are a number of outside restaurants that offer better food for a better value.
It was a great place with great food and a great server named Tyler. I have no complaints on the actual food. It all tasted great. My complaint is I am a small meal eater so having the $45 buffet option wasn’t logical. I literally ate 4 small perogies and a wing and was done. I was under the impression they had a mini menu I could order from as well but they didn’t. Perhaps you can make a smaller buffet option with one of your smaller tables or give a handful of easy menu options. I do understand that this would be tough to follow up with tho. So I would definitely request this restaurant for ppl that love buffets or have larger appetites. But for $45 (you can also hold your table for the whole game for an additional $25 & then access to cheap apps) but being a small app eater, it didn’t work for me. They did bring the birthday boy a delicious dessert so thank you. I loved the aura of the place and of course the history.
Buffet had a wonderful selection and it was all very delicious but I still think $45 is a bit steep for a buffet. Would be a once in a while treat, not something I would do at every game.
The grub was good and the service was quick. Gretzky
Awesome pre-game atmosphere! Food was good and even got razzed by Oiler Mgmt for wearing my Crosby jersey...all in good fun of course!
I can't think of a better way to prepare for an Oilers game than by going to Studio 99. The atmosphere, the Gretzky memorabilia, the Gretzky quotes, and of course the food - will put you into the right mood to cheer the Oilers to a victory. Let's Go Oilers!
Great food, friendly and efficient staff, so an overall great time.
