The chef is world class.

I was not impressed by the food for the price and our server left us waiting for long periods of time and he messed up our drink order and served us what he thought we wanted without asking. Definitely not deserving of this hypothetical 3 Michelin star they speak of.

Did the chef tasting, which I’ve done at other restaurants before, it was over priced at $150 per person for the food. Wine pairing of $50 was not bad. Food price should come down and portion size should go up.

Everything we had was spectacular, save for the tuna tartare. It wasn’t bad, it just paled by comparison. The chicken and the Gnudi were utstanding. We brought our own wine ($35 corkage), but stated with a cocktail. Solid bar program and a nice wine list for Miami. Service was excellent. We opted for the high top by the bar area. It was comfortable and a great spot for people watching.

Overall really enjoyable experience. We did the tasting menu and it was delicious! Courses could have been a bit quicker and we had a bit of a hiccup with our very last course but overall we had a great time. Dragon was our server and he was very attentive and welcoming. We requested to sit outside due to the pandemic, but didn’t realize it would be sidewalk seating. It’s a busy intersection with pedestrians and traffic so I would suggest sitting indoors if you’re looking for a more intimate setting.

We had the 8 course tasting menu - everything was delicious! We also paid for the wine pairing - my only complaint is that the wine arrived after the course several times and was nearly a full pour to make up for it. That’s a lot of wine! Thank goodness we weren’t driving ;). Overall - food was amazing!

This was my first post-covid visit, and the place has not lost a step. It'd be pleasant to talk without having to lean within a few inches of your companion to hear the conversation but I guess that's just part of the process. The chef's choice menu is the one to pursue, and worth every dime.

Now if they could just secure somewhere to park. Ride services like Lyft will doubtless resurface but it didn't have a single ride available in the vicinity at 8:00 and we secured the one available spot in the local lot only because a car was backing out when we arrived.

This was the best meal/dining experiences I’ve ever had. I came in celebrating my graduation, acceptance into grad school. I also beat cancer this past year. The food is stellar. I had high expectations given that it is helmed by Chef Jeremy Ford. Experience way exceeded my expectations. I highly suggest the Wagyu, the ricotta gnudi, and the rum cake. Cocktails are inventive and delicious. I had the Negroni a La Ford—delicious! The service is attentive and unpretentious. Parker is a fabulous server. He gave amazing suggestions and was attentive, without hovering. Ambience is understated and elegant. What I really enjoyed was watching the teamwork. Every server is helping eachother—pre-bussing each other’s section, running each other’s food, etc. Their assistants are on the ball—quick with a refill and silverware, without being asked. The manager was always visible and active on the dining room floor. Thank you to all involved!!!

We did the chefs tasting menu and the pace of dishes coming out was absurdly slow and the entire experiencing took way too long. The 8 course dinner took over 2 hours and 40 minutes. Halfway through, after waiting 40 minutes between plates the server came over and apologized saying there was a mix up—we appreciated this honesty however did not seem concerned with fixing it our experience with the rest of the meal. We barely saw him for the remainder of the meal. We felt forgotten at our table. When we spoke to the manager and to him how long it had taken he initially responded with surprise but then asserted that 2 hours and 40 minutes was normal for the tasting experience. I had been there before with 3 people and we complete our experience in about 2 hours. The manager said ‘what do you want me to do?’ Shifting the responsibility of making the customer happy on to the customer. Asking us to do his job for him. Poor service poor management and expensive, pretty good food tho. Very bad experience over all.

My issue is with the snowbirds and guests without reservations being accommodated and prioritized over guests with reservations. The hostess and staff allowed themselves to be bullied by some very rude walk-ins. A 9:15 reservation should not receive their first course at 10:30 when they arrive on time.

What can I say besides WOW. There were four people in our party and all four said it was the best meal from start to finish they ever had. It started with the best pickles (I hate pickles) I have ever had and told the waiter if he were to ever jar them I would drive down to purchase them. Our party ordered three appetizers as well as all four entrees. The standout dishes were the Crispy Pork Belly and Grits as well as the Truffle Chicken and Potatoes. Both items were melt in your mouth delicious. I could have had multiple of each and wish we had ordered more. We finished off with a couple of dessert dishes, Chocolate Cremeux and a Pineapple cake. I was a Pastry Chef when I was younger so I am usually particular with desserts but both were extremely balanced. Neither were overpowering with sweet and there was a great balance to the dish. I am already planning on going back down to experience the tasting menu and it cannot come soon enough. If you are having any doubt on if you should visit Stubborn Seed you need to get over it and just experience the food yourself, you will not regret it.

Food was great, service was sub par. When asked what the waiter recommended he simply pointed to the menu and states that there was a chicken, fish, steak and pork option. Obviously I could have read that and not the typical service at restaurants of this caliber. Will not recommend

We ordered their eight course menu. Food was very good. It took two hours and 30 minutes. Too long. They chef apologized for the significant delay and slow service. Vladimir, server, was very good, however, he could have warned us of this situation.
