The stubborn seed did not disappoint!
For us the endive salad was quite bitter and could have used a bit of sweetness to cut it. Overall it was a 10/10 dinner. So much great tasting food. The biscuits, delicious, The salmon appetizer made me weep a little, the flavors were so on point. Also had the pork belly and cheesy grits, it was rich and smoky. The perfectly cooked walu was served up with a lime cilantro stock, the depth of flavor was incredible.

Definitely do the tasting menu—but plan on 3 1/2 hours
The dishes are honestly very interesting. Cured salmon was out of this world. The Bravas were great. Endive was good. Some of the others were a little too over the trendy line, and all portions were completely unsatisfying. Wine was extremely disappointing (old or corked, both glasses we ordered).
During a visit to Miami we made reservations at stubborn seed. Overall the meal was a great tasting menu for $150 however relative to the best tasting menus is was good not great (as 4 stars rather than 5 - still really good!)
The highlights were any and all mushrooms, simply incredible.
Lowlights we’re wagyu was a tad tough and the dessert was a class below the rest of the meal.
I’d return next season/menu to see what the chef has prepared.

I was not impressed by the food for the price and our server left us waiting for long periods of time and he messed up our drink order and served us what he thought we wanted without asking. Definitely not deserving of this hypothetical 3 Michelin star they speak of.

Did the chef tasting, which I’ve done at other restaurants before, it was over priced at $150 per person for the food. Wine pairing of $50 was not bad. Food price should come down and portion size should go up.

Everything we had was spectacular, save for the tuna tartare. It wasn’t bad, it just paled by comparison. The chicken and the Gnudi were utstanding. We brought our own wine ($35 corkage), but stated with a cocktail. Solid bar program and a nice wine list for Miami. Service was excellent. We opted for the high top by the bar area. It was comfortable and a great spot for people watching.

Very nice restaurant-extremely refreshing to find a top notch restaurant in south beach - the hostess was lovely -our waiter was very nice - the food was fantastic - looking forward to returning
Overall really enjoyable experience. We did the tasting menu and it was delicious! Courses could have been a bit quicker and we had a bit of a hiccup with our very last course but overall we had a great time. Dragon was our server and he was very attentive and welcoming. We requested to sit outside due to the pandemic, but didn’t realize it would be sidewalk seating. It’s a busy intersection with pedestrians and traffic so I would suggest sitting indoors if you’re looking for a more intimate setting.
We had the 8 course tasting menu - everything was delicious! We also paid for the wine pairing - my only complaint is that the wine arrived after the course several times and was nearly a full pour to make up for it. That’s a lot of wine! Thank goodness we weren’t driving ;). Overall - food was amazing!
I had not eaten in a restaurant in 14 months and every second of this dining experience was amazing. Can't wait to go back!
This was my first post-covid visit, and the place has not lost a step. It'd be pleasant to talk without having to lean within a few inches of your companion to hear the conversation but I guess that's just part of the process. The chef's choice menu is the one to pursue, and worth every dime.
Now if they could just secure somewhere to park. Ride services like Lyft will doubtless resurface but it didn't have a single ride available in the vicinity at 8:00 and we secured the one available spot in the local lot only because a car was backing out when we arrived.
Chef Jeremy Ford’s cuisine defines flavorful - everything was made perfectly! This is the kind of dining experience Miami needs. Customer service was 5 stars, and the food was amazing. Thank you!
