Very creative menu and interesting interpretations of different foods. You have to be a bit open and adventurous as some descriptions may not hit you at first but once you eat them you are like, wow!

Food was delicious, server was very good but overall service took some time. Bubbles came with our open table reservation and we had to ask 2 people about it before receiving. Ambiance didn’t match the quality of the food or the expectation of a South Beach restaurant experience. Decor lacked warmth and was too industrial. Waygu beef was good but every bite varied and wasn’t worth the price. Whiskey flight with cookies was fun but don’t expect Tennessee whiskey. Enjoyed viewing the kitchen.

Delicious, we had the 5 course tasting menu. Each course was well prepared, the fish was very good. It is quite a lot of food but well paced. The desert was delicious meringue and strawberries. It is expensive but very worth it. Service was excellent

We were meeting old friends from graduate school. We meet every year in Miami Beach in January. They live in Miami (Brickel and coral gables) so they chose this restaurant. I thought the service was excellent but my husband said just four stars (wait! Who’s writing this review anyways?!) We couldn’t get in until after 9 so we went for early meal at 6:15. I think the menu is limiting. While it had variety I would say it was more for evolved and exotic tastes. Not a lot of traditional food or greens. The menu didn’t do it for me. Admittedly my taste may not be entirely ‘food network’ evolved, but I like more than burgers and chicken fingers too (lol). But I had the fish which was good and my husband had the ribeye. The other two shared the scallops. We had a bottle of wine. Free champagne and shared three desserts. The total was over $525. It was a lot of money for a good meal. It didn’t shock and awe for the hype and the price. Well maybe the dessert did lol. We loved the ambiance but the restaurant is quite small. It’s an over priced very nice restaurant. Just my two cents.

Wonderful menu served with style and professionalism. We will definitely be back. We had a high top near the door which isn’t the best place to sit, a little to one side of the main dining area. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Our first impression upon arrival was not the best. We arrived on time and we had reservations for 8:15pm. There were multiple empty tables and yet we were told by the hostess that we needed to wait an additional 15 to 20 minutes to be seated. Thank goodness for the manager who came and took over the seating assignment and we ended up being seated right away. The food is outstanding although the menu is somewhat limited. The service was good. The wines by the bottle were very reasonable but the wine list was not very extensive. Overall, a very good restaurant.

Had a wonderful wedding anniversary dinner. Did the tasting menu with wine pairings. Delicious! The only improvement I can recommend is a change in the music. Didn’t really match the dining atmosphere.

Great dinner First time not doing the tasting menu.
Wonderful crudo and beets and tomatoes. Surprisingly delicious truffles potatoes . Perfect sole. Do not skip the bread course

We visited Stubborn Seed for brunch and it was Great. Not at all your standard omelette and egg affair but totally inventive combinations like roasted mushrooms with a crispy whole egg. Be sure to try the newly introduced blood orange donuts...wow! They ooze a delicious orange-flavored filling that is to die for. Everything was excellent. Not inexpensive but worth it for the uniqueness.

Many “exceptional” reviews have been written about Jeremy Ford’s aptly experimental cuisine in the SoFi District, so we went there on a cool Winter evening. At best, the food explored many interesting textures and combination of flavors from this young Top Chef winner but, more often than not, the product of his exploration seemed rough around the edges, needing refinement and editing. His flavor profile leaned towards freshness often to the point of astringency — focusing mostly on citrus and other acid notes on the dishes. In fried potatoes with truffles and cheese, for example, he has you squeeze lemon to create balance. Dishes also have a pleasing textural quality going from soft and creamy to crunchy in the same dish (fresh turnips blended well with the wagyu ribeye slices). But for what he gives in food flavors, he takes away in service and comfort in dining. The noise level was close to airport runway decibels and the service was... well, there was no service at all. Unknowingly or as a joke, he has you sit in wooden benches that seemed more reminiscent of old Catholic schools or subway stations than modern day comfort. Overall, the food was interesting but forget everything you’ve understood as fine dining and good service — those were left on the doorstep.
