Chef Michael Mina has created a fun and innovative menu, bold in flavor and diverse in inspiration. Precision at its finest, StripSteak Waikiki features a menu with all natural Prime Certified Angus beef, American Wagyu beef and Japanese A5 Wagyu beef. Other signature offerings include “Instant Bacon” with kurobuta pork belly, Seafood Tower, with king crab, a whole lobster, oysters, and more, and Michael’s Lobster Pot Pie served table side with brandied lobster cream, hamakua mushrooms and black truffle.

Very good experience at STRIPSTEAK. We were seated once we arrived, service was super friendly & accommodating, food was good (ordered their prefixed Thanksgiving menu which had some misses in them), but overall great experience.

Service and atmosphere were top notch. Cocktails were expensive but well crafted. Steaks were priced high but were also excellent. Sides were a little underwhelming but I came for the steak. The styling is modern and contemporary and a lot less stuffy compared to others in the genre. A modern steakhouse for modern times.

Outstanding service and top tier cuisine. The entire experience was phenomenal. John the sommelier was amazing and very knowledgeable. His pairing recommendations were amazing. Best experience in Waikiki.

Ambience was beautiful, however I felt that the food fell short considering a $300 bill for 2. I ordered the Macadamian crusted mahi mahi and it was dry. My boyfriend ordered the featured wagshyu beef and it was just okay. Creamed spinach was bitter but I will say that the black truffle Mac and cheese was good.

Very slow service, food was OK. Sushi rolls mediocre, US$66 for just a 12 oz steak without anything else on the plate. Drinks took 15 - 20 min. to arrive. 2nd order of drinks was 25 min. wait.

Overall, it was a great experience. I just don't know if I'd return for a full meal as it's quite expensive. The steak was delicious though, I had the Delmonico Ribeye.

Wonderful experience and atmosphere! Totally feel like a Bond Girl while dining in with my husband, James Bond. The interior, the vibe, definitely matched that. The staff are all so amazing, friendly and very accommodating. 10 outta 10!

The most expensive dinner on the menu was suggested to us and it turned out to be the worst. It was lobster with udon noodles. The lobster was mushy, the udon didn’t have much flavor and the sauce they poured on it was too much. At times I think restaurants try to get too fancy and overdo it. Sometimes a simple lobster has flavor enough, it shouldn’t be over enhanced. It was very disappointing, especially after I had eaten at a Michael Mina restaurant at the four seasons hotel and thought it was absolutely excellent!

We had a wonderful experience and meal - but the service was our favorite part. Tori was accommodating, friendly, and even gave us recommendations for the rest of our honeymoon! We will be back next time we’re in Waikiki!

Everything was great except for the fact that the bus person was splashing water on my phone and table when she refilled our glasses. She was trying to juggle 4 glass bottles while trying to refill our glass. For the cost of food and service. Our bill was $280 (including tip) for two people, I would expect the service to be impeccable.
Food was great. Just wish the busser was a lot more conscientious of her surroundings.

I love Stipsteak! We have dined here twice and we love everything we have ordered. The service and attention to detail is impeccable. It’s pricey, but worth it due to the quality of food and overall experience. This is a staple for us when in Waikiki

We had an amazing experience! The offered a complementary French Fire Trio, the truffle sauce was to die for. We had delicious Steak, Veggies and Mac n Cheese. We would highly recommend and would go again in heartbeat.

Service was perfect. Ambience was refined and lovely but casual, so a good mix. We ordered the Duck Fat Aged Porterhouse just to try it ($185). We had a wedge salad, shared Truffle Mac & Cheese and Asparagus, and 2 glasses of wine. Our dinner with tip was $385. For 2 people. Sharing an entree. With no appetizer or dessert.

While there was nothing wrong with the dinner, except that we ordered the steak Medium and it came out Medium Rare (we ate it and were happy with it, but for that kind of money it should be cooked to perfection) and everything tasted great and we ate EVERYTHING, the prices are completely out of hand for the portions served and the type of food. It was NOT a $385 dinner. We eat at other local eateries for half that and enjoy our meal more and get more portion and flavor for our money.

We knew going in that the prices were what they were. It's Waikiki. It's a steakhouse geared towards the Tourist (and Asian) Market. We get it. I'm just being honest here. There's nothing overly special about what we ordered. And we won't be going back to try anything else.

My wife and I had dinner here for our anniversary and the whole experience from start to finish was amazing. From the hostess to the wait staff (big “thank you” to our waiter, Nick), it felt very personal and special for us. The ambience is very nice coupled with the live music.

We’ve dined at other fine restaurants in the Honolulu/Waikiki area and this was by far top shelf. The cuisine and cocktails are delicious. We had tastings prep’d by the chef that offered a bit of everything from shellfish, sushi, to Wagyu beef. We’ll definitely be back!

StripSteak never disappoints. This was our second time having server, CJ, and she is phenomenal. Manager (Joe) came over and thanked us for returning. The food is fantastic and the ambiance great... fancy and upscale if you are seated inside, and casual yet classy out on the patio. I can't wait to return for dinner again!

This place was amazing. We regularly go out to fine dining restaurants but food and service here were next level. It wasn’t cheap but we knew that coming into it. If the restaurant is serving A5 wagyu you have to expect prices to be higher than even normal fine dining. It was a little noisy due to the live music but it didn’t bother me much. Would definitely go back.

In my opinion, the best steakhouse in Waikiki. The filet mignon is like butter, the bacon appetizer is heavenly. The whipped potatoes and creamed spinach are a great compliment to the steak..
We had the 24k gold ice cream sundae. That was great too. Not overly sweet.
It is a bit pricier than some of the other places but we'll worth it. It is casual dress and they have a live singer on the weekends which can get loud if sit in the outdoor portion of the restaurant.
We chose to be seated inside. With Hawaii requiring a 6 ft social distancing policy, I was surprised that they sat a party where one of the diners was about 2 feet from me. Wouldn't have bothered me if the seats had high backs but I felt if I tilted my head back, I would come in contact with his head.
Service was good. Server didn't hover as much as some which can be annoying.
Will be back but request something with more spacing from other parties.

Amazing ambience. Great staff from reception to dining. Wait staff attentive and exceptional. Waiter was Richard. Very knowledgable on menu items. Food is good. Big ups to Michael Mina. Will return for sure!

Wayyyyy over priced for what it is. I took my husband here for his bday and he ordered the steak and 1/2 lobster. The 1/2 lobster is $47 and It barely had any meat. On top of that, the lobster was cold. When we told the waiter he apologized and took it back. He brought a “New one” which was the old one but re-heated. The lobster was now hot but over cooked. We didn’t want to complain so we let it be. Our final bill was $325, $390 including the tip. The didn’t even have the courtesy to take the cold lobster off the bill. They want to charge like a high end restaurant but it really isn’t and I was very disappointed. I do not recommend and I will not be coming back.

Amazing! Wonderful time at Stripsteak Waikiki. The hostess was so friendly, rib cap was so tender and cooked perfectly, the hot miso crab is delicious, the mushrooms were so flavorful, mashed potatoes were perfect. Our server Reynaldo was great, management was personable and checked on our experience. All in all, spectacular evening. Thank you!

My husband and I love coming here. We come for dinner every time we’re in Oahu and are never disappointed with the drinks, food and service. The sommelier, John is so awesome! He is attentive without being intruding and gives such good recommendations for food and wine pairings and also just good conversation! He really knows his stuff and is such a pleasure to talk with. We were lucky enough to meet him almost 3 years ago on our first trip to Strip Steak and he gave us the most unforgettable experience, we came 2 nights in a row!
We went in again last night for my husbands birthday and he was there and it just made the night so much more special. It was great seeing him again, and the food and drinks did not disappoint once again! Can’t wait to come back!
