The two-story, indoor-outdoor venue is sexy, fun, elegant and engaging. Located off the historic chateau lobby in the heart of the hotel, StripSteak is very much a steakhouse for today’s adventurous diner – offering a la carte cuts of steak (many of them from the hotel’s on-site aging room and butcher shop) as well as signature specials that go far beyond traditional steakhouse fare. No steakhouse experience would be complete without a killer raw bar; StripSteak's include selections sourced locally through BleauFish – the hotels innovative ocean-to-table live catch program.

StripSteak by Michael Mina - Miami Ratings and Reviews
Of the 4 adults in my party, each and every steak was prepared to perfection and savory in taste. The mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, mushrooms, and mac n’ cheese were so flavorful. The carrot cake special proved to be a perfect ending to the evening while the pecan pie was dry and crumbled into pieces. This restaurant was accommodating in attempting to find a particular wine bottle that was asked for. When they were not able to locate it throughout the hotel, they were helpful in helping my guest select a similar wine. If you want to have a conversation with guests, ask for a table upstairs and near the exterior wall (near the hotel hallway). Otherwise, you may only be able to hear the person beside you.
Thank you for making my husband’s birthday such a special night! The staff was extremely attentive and everyone was so nice! Thank you for all the personal touches that made our experience that much better. Food was great! Drinks were delicious. And the chocolate cake was the gift that kept on giving!
The restaurant has no ambience. Very business oriented. The restaurant was not crowded. They took our order. Appetizers were good. I had the wedge salad and my husband had a shrimp cocktail. Our entrees all came out cold along with the 3 sides we ordered. Waiter did not pay much attention to us. He had a large business party of 12 that he was busy with. He sent over the manager and they sent the food back to reheat. After another 10 minutes they brought the food back and it was just as cold as before except for the fries which were hot and crispy. They comped our entrees but I would have liked to pay for my meal and had good hot food.
Awesome experience. Came in from out of town and told them we were celebrating early Valentines Day. They put us in a quiet booth downstairs where you can see the kitchen. Amazing food. Steak was perfectly cooked. Seafood tower was fresh and delicious. But the best part of the night was when the Manager (Erin) took us to the kitchen where we were given a tour from Chef Danny! On our 3 nights in Miami, we ate at Meat Market our first night, Prime 112 on our second night, and StripSteak on our 3rd night. Not even a comparison - StripSteak wins big time! Kudos to Erin and Chef Danny and the wonderful staff!
Strip Steak is a great choice on North Miami Beach. On this trip, the sommelier didn't have several of our favorite wine choices, but the inventory is always unique and upscale. The service was top-notch as always. The lower-level dining room is a great place for a nice dinner and business discussion. Can't recommend the tomahawk rib-eye as it was gristly in places, but the seafood is excellent and the other steaks are as well.
We were expecting more than was delivered. Bread to start was like Wonder bread. The sommelier dripped wine down my glass and all over the bottle’s label. It was freezing cold and they had to bring me a wrap or I would have left. Nothing special at $425 for 3 of us.
Menu was full of variety, food combinations were innovative, steak cooked to perfection, and wait staff was attentive. Chris, the sommelier, was our favorite part of the night. He chose a delicious wine within our budget and recommended the perfect after-dinner lounge for us. Thank you, Chris!!!
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience! We (party of 4) arrived on time for an 11pm reservation. After ordering apps and a few drinks, we happily chatted away while waiting for our waitress to order our main. Our waitress was no where to be found, only to come back to the table to inform us the kitchen was now CLOSED. No warning, no last call, no offer to take our order -- nothing. She then proceeded to tell us we could, however, order from the late night menu. When we hastily tried to place our order, we were told the kitchen was already SHUT DOWN because of everything that had been happening that week. (Meaning, specifically-- Christmas!) Needless to say, we were shocked. People around us were still receiving their food! We were told there was absolutely nothing we could order. It was just a little after midnight. We had only been there about an hour. No last call, no heads up, no anything. When we complained to the manager, he was less than helpful, offering to buy us "a round" of drinks for the "miscommunication". He didn't even comp the $300 bill!? The best part? The 18% service charge they automatically charge to your bill. We didn't come for drinks, we came for food. If we wanted drinks, we would have sat at the bar and not even bothered with a reservation. I will NEVER return to this restaurant. This was a special occasion for family traveling from out of state. We all left hungry. If they offer an 11pm seating, then they should make sure and finish taking the orders of all the guests prior to shutting down the kitchen. Unreal. The absolute WORST restaurant experience ever.
Went there to celebrate my birthday, the steaks were excellent. The dessert was huge, we couldn’t finish, the only thing I was expecting was a “Happy Birthday” message on my cake or a little candle for a birthday picture but I got none.. was kinda disappointing since when I reserved I told the restaurant that I was going to celebrate my birthday with them. All I got was a birthday card was already at the table when we sat. I not sure if it’s the rule of the restaurant to not allow candles or birthday celebrations, anyway I was disappointed.
I won’t recommend it for birthday.. as you can see in the picture I posted there was no candle or a message on my cake. Sad...
What a horrendous experience! Over 1hr gap between appetizers and main courses, extremely poorly managed communicating of a supposed “computer glitch” that apparently created mayhem in the kitchen. Waiters nowhere to be seen for long periods or time and it was a struggle to get anybody’s attention. An extremely embarrassed Manager eventually opted not to charge any of our food and we ended up only paying for drinks and wine. Risotto was a disaster, $65 steak was just ok and sides were semi-cold when they made the table. We would have walked out of the place half way through the pandemonium had it not been Christmas Day with many places closed. Mina = overpriced steaks but this outrageously expensive tourist trap needs to be avoided at all costs. Do yourself a favor and spend better money at The Palm or even The Forge.
