About StripSteak by Michael Mina - Miami
The two-story, indoor-outdoor venue is sexy, fun, elegant and engaging. Located off the historic chateau lobby in the heart of the hotel, StripSteak is very much a steakhouse for today’s adventurous diner – offering a la carte cuts of steak (many of them from the hotel’s on-site aging room and butcher shop) as well as signature specials that go far beyond traditional steakhouse fare. No steakhouse experience would be complete without a killer raw bar; StripSteak's include selections sourced locally through BleauFish – the hotels innovative ocean-to-table live catch program.

StripSteak by Michael Mina - Miami Ratings and Reviews
Absolutely every item was done to perfection. The seafood tower was fresh, sweet and delicious, with a couple of inventive dipping sauces (mustard aioli and green goodess) in addition to the usual cocktail sauce. The steak was perfectly done, and, again the dipping sauces were excellent.
Best meal I’ve probably ever had. I got the filet and it was perfect. The sides were excellent as well. Service was decent, felt like it could have been a bit better. Definitely not a cheap restaurant but it’s about what you expect for Miami. I’d definitely go back.
„ jenny“ ( sorry didnt get exact name mylady..) is a super professional gastronomist and was able to get our chaotic hispano- anglo dinner order conversations😉..
so she was reflected in the impeccable performance of her coworkers..
this restaurant is able to shape really personalised „a la client“ menues .. we were delighted about the creative results.
Excellent restaurant- would go again when in town- celebrated 35 wedding anniversary. Jeanine and Jennifer were outstanding as well as the back up staff.
Would recommend that no-one suggests Macchialina's as a dining option. We went the following night on the advise of someone at Strip Steak- poor service- poor food quality- noisy as all hell and what they call outside dining is eating on the side walk listening to the traffic.
Thanksgiving dinner, a special menu for the night. Definitely we would come back, Turkey, brussel sprouts and the cavatelli as an appetizer were great. Our waiter Sean, did a great job assuring we were completely satisfied with everything, even offered us more Turkey, in case we need it. Wine by the glass seems a little expensive, and they charge the service automatically in the check, so the tip gets as an extra 18%+. Overall would recommend this dinner, we LOVED EVERYTHING.
This is our second year having Thanksgiving dinner at StripSteak in Miami. Overall everything was adequate except the price tag of $450+ for two kids and two adults. It appears they changed their menu where last year (2016) they offered more food at the table. This year they brought out 4 slices of white turkey and two small pieces of dark meat with two tiny side dishes of mashed potato and stuffing. To give you an illustration each slice of turkey would suffice for a turkey sandwich we would prepare for our kids to take to school for lunch. We had to order some extra turkey and the waiter appeared perturbed by such a ludicrous request.
The turkey did taste very good. The mash potato was superb, the stuffing so-so and the veggie so-so too.
Next year we will look for another venue. Happy Holidays!
Food was great! Appetizers pan seared scallops and instant bacon awesome. Had filet mignon and 16oz ribeye amazing. The sauce on plate is delicious. Service sucked, no other way to put it. This is why I hate restaurants with automatic 18% , waiter does not have to work for their tip. Tip is a service provided not guaranteed. If you would of given me service trust me I would of tipped you 20-25%!! You barely deserved 10%!
Expensive bottle of red wine was served ice cold. When we complained and said we didn’t want to drink cold red wine the guy still opened the bottle and put it on the table and said they keep their wine fridge at 55 degrees. Well that’s fine to preserve the wine, but when you serve red wine it has to be taken out of the fridge prior to serving and at room temperature! Our appetizers came out and right after our plates were cleared our dinner came. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. We’re not spending $500+ on a dinner to be rushed out in an hour. Both my steak and my sister’s was over cooked - we asked for rare they were both easily well done. My Dad’s steak and the sides were left on the table until I️ told them to take everything away, that we want to eat together?! They tried compensating by bringing complimentary sauces and desert but I’m sorry the night was already ruined. I️ would recommend going to another steakhouse. I’ve been to the Striphouse in NY many times so I️ thought this one would be great as well but the service, food and lack of respect at the Fountainbleu location is terrible. Avoid.
Overall was a good experience. More expensive than comparable restaurants. Only negative was after going back and forth and after encouragement from my waitress, I decided to order the Wagyu Ribcap. A few moments later, she came back and told me they had sold out of it. Was disappointed but enjoyed my second choice of boneless ribeye even though it was medium rare and I ordered medium.
I tried the Miami spice menu. I had flank steak which was a very generous portion that I could not consume in one seating. I was staying hotel so leftovers was out. The steak was prepared as I requested. I did not want French fries for a supposedly upscale meal. No baked potato or veggie substitute allowed. The restaurant was quiet but it was a Monday night. There is a nice bar with a tv turned on for sports. So, it maybe wants to be a sports bar instead of an upscale restaurant. The bar was quiet.
This establishment is “ok”. The reason for why “ok” is the food quality and service level is of a decent standard but what let’s the place down is the disproportionate pricing. I’m sorry but it’s frankly unacceptable to pay 20-30 % over the odds. Nothing in this place merits that premium. Thank goodness the Hawksmoor exists.
