StripSteak by Michael Mina - Miami
The two-story, indoor-outdoor venue is sexy, fun, elegant and engaging. Located off the historic chateau lobby in the heart of the hotel, StripSteak is very much a steakhouse for today’s adventurous diner – offering a la carte cuts of steak (many of them from the hotel’s on-site aging room and butcher shop) as well as signature specials that go far beyond traditional steakhouse fare. No steakhouse experience would be complete without a killer raw bar; StripSteak's include selections sourced locally through BleauFish – the hotels innovative ocean-to-table live catch program.

Truffle Mac & Cheese
Brussels Sprouts & Bacon
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. The food and wine were amazing. Our server was excellent. The GM is also outstanding. My wife and I will be back often!
Delicious as always
Excellent service as always
Ordered the rib eye, it was overcooked and chewy. Mac and cheese was dry. Not the best meal we have ever had there. Usually it’s good.
Quiet for Miami! Not a steak person but this place fits the bill. Instant bacon is a must. Love the caviar service. The single best wine list in south beach - esp if you love the French stuff. Great sommeliers and bartenders, amazing service.
FOR SUCH A BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT AND HIGH CLASS HOTEL AND A 5 STAR CHEF. THE DRESS CODE WAS COME AS YOU ARE.. WE SAW A MAN WITH A TOWEL OVER HIS HEAD AND POOL SHORTS AND A SLEEVE LESS TANK TOP T SHIRT WITH SANDALS SITTING AT THE BAR WITH OTHER WOMAN FROM THE POOL ATIRE.
ME AND MY WIFE WERE LET DOWN BY NOT ASKING GUEST TO AT LEAST WEAR NORMAL CLOTHES AND NOT POOL ATIRE.
I FEEL EVEN THE HOTEL IS NOT AS A 5 STAR AS BEFORE AND NOW HAS DROPPED TO A 1 STAR HOTEL BY WHAT WE SEE GATHERED IN THE HALLWAYS DRINKING WITH BOTTELS OF SCOTCH IN THEIR HANDS.
We went for my birthday with 5 kids we had the best time & food was incredible! Highly recommend. Was safe we sat near no one we loved it. Food was outstanding!
Overall it was a good experience but will probably not return
Wine “tasting” was a rip off. There were two options. We asked about the difference and our server put us off to someone else. That person shows up 10 minutes later with the wine we never even actually ordered. Some rose. Then brings us a cab. That’s IT. For $35 I would’ve preferred to have a say in one glass of wine.
As always, I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The food, ambiance, and outstanding service never dissappoints. My girlfriend, and I always enjoy our time at Stripsteak.
GM David Lestock does and excellent job, and the bar service by Raquel is the best.
We'll be back soon...and many times more.
We had the bone in steak which was burnt and tasted disgusting. The loaded mash potato was the same as instant mashed potatoes. I guess they deep fry the Potatoes skin then pour instant mashed potatoes inside of the whole potato. The crab cake wasn’t bad but you only get one. The food was horrible but the atmosphere and employees were outstanding.
Price was too high for lower quality of food. Steak was on the charred side when ordered medium so could not eat much of it. Best part was the truffle butter bread. Steak was lower than average quality. Fries were cold and oddly shaped. Wine sommelier had very little knowledge about wine which was also disappointing. Waitress was nice but everything else was below average. Will not return.
Food was decent but for the price point it wasn’t comparable to other fine dining steakhouses in the area. The baked potato was good almost like a twice baked potato. The drinks were good also bit overall it was average. When you spend several hundred dollars on a meal for two you expect to be wowed and I wasn’t.
I’m going to start by saying we love Michael Minas Bourbon Steak in Nashville so we were excited to try his Miami spot! From when we pulled up, the hotel lobby was chaos with so many people dressed scantily. The restaurant itself was not busy at all for a Saturday night. Our server was really awkward and rushed us through the menu then could not be found anywhere when it was time for the check and barely checked on us. The QR code is also not very user friendly when it comes to the wine list. The food was okay but not great. We love Bourbon Steak in Nashville but this was a disappointment!
Thank you delicious as always
the steak, salmon, ceasar salad and were all horrendous
First outing post quarantine to celebrate a high school graduation. Took advantage of the Miami Spice Menu. Had to order some sides since they were not included with the Miami Spice. Service was top notch, food was delicious and we had a great time. Restroom is a bit of a walk as there is none in the restaurant itself. Be prepared to wait an extra 20 minutes for the valet.
Bread is elite level, staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Miami Spice menu discrepancy on the steak 14oz(spice online) vs 8oz (reality)
Staff was incredible from wait staff to Executive Chef visiting our table! Gem of the Fountainebleau!
The service and the servers were fantastic. The food was absolutely horrible. I ordered a bone in rib eye and both other guests ordered filets. I would rather have had Post-mates deliver. All the steaks were horrible, chewy, and absolutely awe full. I would never go back. I must however say, the service and the servers did a fantastic job.
We are never disappointed when we dine at StripSteak. StripSteak is always one of the highlights to our trips to the Fountainbleau in Miami. The staff is always welcoming and friendly upon entering the restaurant. Then the service... oh my .. on our most recent visit, Rafael served my husband and I. Rafael was attentive but not hovering... he paid attention to the smallest of details. Just perfect service...
Oh and I haven't mentioned the food... DIVINE. We love the steaks.. StripSteak is able to cook our steaks "Pittsburgh Very Rare" which few restaurants can do correctly. Then they slice the steak off the bone for a beautiful presentation. The sides are also amazing...
I cannot wait until we can return... Thank You StripSteak and Rafael for making the evening a memorable experience.
Fantastic meal. We visit every time we are in South Beach. One of the best restaurants out there.
Our steaks were overcooked and the crab Oscar topping was just so-so. Not worth the extra money for it. Plus, the waiter seemed very judgy of the 2 of us for not ordering more than one side and no dessert. Felt like he thought we were trying to get out of there cheap. It wasn’t that at all. My daughter and I aren’t big eaters and had plenty of food between us. Had we ordered more, it would have gone to waste. Spent $250 in there and I don’t feel like it was worth it.
Food & service was excellent! We enjoyed it very much and look forward to our next visit.
I am in love with this place. The waitresses are so educated, elegant and well trained. I can’t not even put it in words how amazing this place is!
Our waiter Jeanine was awesome. Great service and great food quality. We go to this restaurant everytime we stay at the fountainebleu resort.
We loved the upscale Miami feel of this restaurant just inside and to the left of an incredilby hip hotel lobby bar. There is dining on two floors, our party of 3 was seated in one of the many curved booths downstairs around the perimeter of the room - very comfortable and sized correctly. Furnishings and style were very new, contempoary and seemed timeless at the same time. We started with the Instant Bacon aka Pork Belly - Amazing flavor yet not too fatty - It was the best I've ever had! They do not have a side salad, however, our waitress informed us all salads are large enough for 2 to share, so 2 of us split a ceasar salad which was 2 baby hearts of romain - with 1 full one each, we had plenty. Everyone loved their entrees too, but the highlight was the bone in stripsteak - wow, just wow! Skip the stripsteak accompaniment - not necessary. All steaks were expertly and perfectly prepared - Definitly worth the trip. We skipped dessert, but probably should not have - the ones being served all around us looked amazing! On our next trip we hope to have a larger group and to be able to request one of the booths overlooking the kitchen.
Our waitress was outsanding. The wait time for our food was ridiculous. Our son had 2 separate orders of mac n cheese before our meals came to us. The meats looked beautiful upon presentation, but the flavor/taste/textures were not up to par. Our son had the morel mushroom mac n cheese and devoured it, but being that its supposed to be a premium steakhouse and that the steaks were sub par,and the long wait (not to mention the restaurant was 1/8th occupied) I cannot see giving a higher rating than given.
It was just one of those times when you walk away thinking “that wasn’t worth the price at all” and you feel bad about it.
It was another incredible dining experience at the Miami Beach Strip Steak. I had the lobster pot pie tonight and it was the one of the best dish I have ever eaten. The table side presentation was fabulous. Highly recommend this restaurant you will not be disappointed.
Food is great

I went two nights in a row. Strong but not overwhelming service. Lobster pie and steaks excellent. Sides salads and dessert all wonderful complements.
