Had a wonderful meal before seeing the MJ show. Sunday. We have been before and had the steak which was very high quality and prepared perfectly, they also have small bite (try the chicken quesadilla) but we got burgers thus time since we were late for our reservation, and they were fantastic!! Served with upgrades to condiments, onion jam, garlic aioli, and we chose sweet potato waffle fries which are a must! We sat outside but have been seated in the Restaraunt on prior visits snd enjoy the relaxed vibe, with great drinks and food. Great for drinks and appies or a memorable meal!

Street City Urban Gourmet was a good choice prior to going to the theater. Service for a Sunday night was very good for a group of 6 people. The menu has recently changed and seems to offer a larger variety of sandwiches, dinners, a theater menu for our group. Wish the happy prices for drinks applied to the dining room but the bartender was very helpful when going to the bar for the reduced drink prices.

I don’t think one thing went right with my dinner. From glasses of wines getting mixed up to my drink not coming and then being wrong, long wait times, everything was not very good. I went for the fancy $18 hot dog that has actual gold sprinkled on it. I asked for the onions to be on the side. They weren’t. At first it came on a fancy plate and the presentation was cute, it returned on a regular plate with it placed down (almost tossed down) rather hard. No gold sprinkles. No apologies. No let me get the manager. No one really cared. Maybe they should just be a “speakeasy” and forget the food, brush up on how to make and garnish drinks properly, teach the staff how to remember and bring drinks all at once so no one person is waiting 20 minutes for a cocktail/drink/food etc.

The food was superb! The service was a little slow and some of the specialty cocktails weren’t great, but I’d go back for the food in a heartbeat! And it’s less than a block from the Arnoff. Perfect for dinner before a show! Totally recommend!

My wife and I ordered appetizers and drinks before the REDS game. Food was very good, and service was excellent. The restaurant and bar have very stylish decor as well.

Our server, Dante, was delightful. However, he did not notice that I did not eat my short ribs. The apps were great, but I ordered the braised short ribs and soup. It was a pick two for $37. It was a little pricey but it sounded delicious. It was not. The short ribs seemed rewarmed and very, very dry and super salty. My server did not notice that barely any of it was touched and did not ask if I enjoyed it or wanted a box. It was my bad for not speaking up, but I hope that they do better with their other entrees. For $37, I would hope that I would not get a dried up piece of meat.

This is our first time eating at Street City! We were quite impressed with their “Speak Easy” restaurant section! Learned entertainment in this area is Thurs-Sat night… so we will return for experience! The food tonight was fabulous!! Great wine!! Great service!!

Awesome restaurant convenient for shows and games downtown. We were there on Sunday night and it wasn't very busy. The short ribs, filet and brussel sprouts were awesome! Great beer and bourbon selection. Service was impeccable. Will be back.

Service was excellent, as were the food and drinks. Seating wasn’t optimal, lounge type chairs and low tables, perfect for a cocktail or coffee but made eating slightly awkward. Overall very enjoyable.

We were the only customers there on a Saturday at lunch time before the ballet at the Aronoff! Delicious and unique burger, fries and beer. Server Taaj could not have been nicer. This place is truly a hidden gem.

While it was not the servers fault, unfortunately I will not be a returning customer due to the poor service. With a reservation, it took 45 minutes to get a drink order and over an hour for our dinner order to be taken. We barely made it to the Aronoff on time (with reassurances from the staff that we would be fine). The food is also overpriced for the quality.

Food is always good but the service is terrible. I made 5:45 p.m. reservation. We were seated when we arrived on time, but no one even acknowledged us until I asked someone if we could get service at 6:15 p.m. Almost left but had theatre tickets and not many other choices. Waiter brought us drinks quickly. The food did not arrive until after 7 p.m. We had to eat quickly to make the 7:30 p.m. show, which was a shame because the food was pretty good. I'm not anxious to return.

Food is done in same kitchen as Prime which is top class. Very busy night before Mellencamp so service was lacking but otherwise place is very nice and food delicious. Great location downtown near all.
