   The restaurant is extremely small and was very crowded. Seating is too close to other patrons and the staff was ill equipped to handle the rush of guess. Drinks were very strong.

   Please go you will NOT be disappointed. The food and drinks are amazing, The ambiance is a whole vibe, excellent customer service, live band , and a tucked away speakeasy. My husband and I celebrated our 3 year Anniversary here and we both agreed we will have to return whenever we are in Chicago. I had the red fish over jambalaya and it was so flavorful and a nice size portion. The honey butter cornbread melts in your mouth!

   The food was very good and fresh. Peyton was an amazing server and the drinks were amazing as well. Don’t know the guy name behind the bar but he made sure those drinks were good

   Design aesthetic seemed to be at odds with food offerings. Visited on an evening with low traffic and still received poor service. Waitress managed to get entire order wrong including an accommodation for dietary restrictions. Seemed indifferent and made no real attempt to improve. Food tasted uninspired.

   Waited almost 15 mins to be greeted after we were seated. Got our drinks and meal all at the same time. Main meals were good but the desserts were not that great. The bananas foster was cold which was confusing since it had the flaming sauce poured over.
