At Storms on the River we love where we live. As such, we are passionate about the great variety of ingredients British Columbia has to offer. Our internationally trained and educated Executive Chef sources all of our ingredients as fresh and local as possible while our experienced team strives to provide you with a fine dining experience you’ll enjoy.

Besides being a certified oceanwise restaurant you can also count on us for a wide selection of meats and other made-from-scratch dishes.

Our menus are seasonally inspired but be sure to check us out for our weekly feature specials as well. We are the perfect spot for celebrations, whether it’s birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, you name it!Our banquet room overlooking the river can accommodate groups of up to 60 people while we have a second semi-private area that seats up to 30. The whole restaurant can also be booked and seats up to 120 people.We are able to offer a la carte dining as well as buffets and can easily accommodate dietary restrictions. This was a disappointing experience for my family. Menu was limited with little choice for 7 diners. Service very poor...we order things that were never delivered to table. Server very forgetful. Not likely to return soon.

It had been awhile since last coming to Storms. I forgot how much I enjoyed it. Food was absolutely wonderful and the service was excellent. I will definitely be back sooner next time

As much as I like to support local industry, the lack of reasonably priced local or foreign wines does detract from the eating experience. Other than the house red, everything seemed priced to keep everyone sober, not just our designated driver.

Food choices on the menu was very limited and expensive for what you get. The wine list was extremely expensive for a 9oz glass of red 🍷 $22. Far to much !! Had my grandsons there for dinner and one ordered a pop which wasn’t included in the child’s menu. The service was very good. It was my daughters birthday and she didn’t receive a dessert. When I made the reservation I included that we were celebrating a birthday.

We have been to Storms quite a few times now and are always impressed with the quality of the food and drinks as well as the service. They really take pride in what they do and it shows!

We spent there a very nice and relaxing evening.Service was very friendly, especially the starters execellent. The atmosphere was very nice, not like in a fast food restaurant ,with descret music.We felt a little bit like at home... Thank you so much!
