Storico Fresco Alimentari e Ristorante
We had a dream to bring traditional and nearly lost Italian dishes to Atlanta. The result: Storico Fresco Alimentari, quite simply an Italian grocery store and restaurant in one. We’ve gone beyond and created a true Italian experience for you to enjoy. We use locally sourced ingredients to craft our authentic dishes.

Cool, casual, super fun vibe! Food is Stellar!! Service is hands on and fabulous. Marc was our server and was awesome, as were others that were attentive. Young, super attractive staff! Nice to see!
Had the Squid ink with octopus...Fabulous and beautifully done! Fresh and tons of Octopus...you don't see this ANYWHERE...and for this price...Wow!
Squash blossoms, perfect, and we know....that's hard to pull off.
Now..the not so good....Parking is atrocious!!! They know it, but can't fix it, so just get over it, get in there, enjoy the food and have a terrific time!
Great crowd...all kinds, all ages! Nice!! They're killing it here! Great job! Can't wait to go back and try some other dishes!
Only other negative...the space needs work, it's old!
Don't care....had a Great time! Thank you all who kill themselves every day to make this an....experience!!!
We are regulars and this night was not how it normally is....The hosts were extremely unfriendly and rude. Our drinks came out after appetizers were at our table. And main dishes were cold. I’m hoping this was just a bad night! Because if this was my first time, I would not be coming back.
I came here on the suggestion of my sister for a birthday dinner. It was PERFECT! Amazing atmosphere, amazing food (once we figured out what everything on the menu was), our waiter was attentive and so friendly to our party of 6, and we had the most amazing time! The only con was that it was pretty loud. But we got louder!
Too damn loud. Can’t carry on a conversation. Otherwise I would go more.
Good food, good wine.
Great, yet relaxed service. Incredible food, wine, and dessert. Only complaint was it was too loud, beyond than what this survey is calling “energetic.” The music drove everyone’s conversations to an overwhelming level. Our table of three struggled to simply have a conversation. The space is acoustically challenging, and it's an upbeat fun place to be, it was just a bit much.
This was a horrible dining experience. Every time I go, the noise level makes it impossible to carry on a conversation. Been here 10+ times but this will be my last.
Only negative was that it was a little noisy but clearly they are trying to draw a young-ish high energy crowd so I get it.
This was a delightful experience. Friendly attentive staff, excellent food and lovely ambiance. We will recommend to everyone we know!
I took my boyfriend and my parents to Storico Fresco last night to celebrate my birthday. The staff was so nice and took great care of us (they even entertained my dad's bad jokes). The food was awesome, everything tasted so fresh. 10/10 would recommend!!!
Food and drinks were delicious and very comfortable with the COVID protocols.
Always, always, always great food and service. Never had a bad meal with this very authentic Italian food. You can taste the homemade like “Nona” made it.
The music is always too loud. We love the food but sadly probably won’t return until the music is turned down. We can’t enjoy conversing with our friends or business colleagues. The survey is also deceptive. There is no way to evaluate the noise except positively.
Have reviewed this place a hundred times. That is telling you something
Food is amazing and Mondays wine bottles are half price. The market has great italian home goods at affordable prices. Highly recommend!
We were seated and several staff members circled by but we did not get addressed right away. The restaurant was so loud it was very difficult to hear and speak to anyone. The noise volume circle around like a gymnasium and with music on top. It was hard to catch our server's attention who swooped by a lot but felt we were not being tended to as well as could be especially with as many staff as were on hand. There appeared to be an owner flashing numbers via hand signals and walking the floor but also did not talk to anyone. I had registered that it was my birthday and no acknowledgement. It was lacking the extra level of service we expected.
Excellent food, as always
Storico is our go-to when taking guests. Never disappoints!
Great food. Reserved patio but was definitely outside on the sidewalk. Waiter was friendly but wanted to take our entree order before the drinks arrived and hover over us as soon as she brought the checks.
Amazing food, squash blossoms were the best!
Our first post-COVID dinner in a restaurant! Storico Fresco has done a wonderful job throughout the COVID period, and our in-restaurant dinner was no different. We particularly love the stuffed, fried squash blossoms! Our only complaint was the noise. We sat inside next to an open window, but it was still so loud that it was difficult to talk.
Food was delicious. Not your traditional Americanized Italian food. Pasta made from scratch, fresh ingredients. So, so good.
The wait staff was impeccable, ambiance lively but imtimate, food absolutely delicious! Love coming here when I’m town from FL.
First time eating out in over a year. Felt comfortable. Food and service as amazing as always!
Yesterday was my first visit to Storico Fresco. While I was familiar with their pasta products, I had not yet been to the restaurant. From the lovely Italian market with a large variety of imported goods, to the enjoyable outdoor seating, attentive service and OUTSTANDING food, it was a definite winner and I will return.
Best dining experience ever. Really relaxed environment and rather fast service. Food was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend.
Everything was great. Food, drinks and service. A bit loud but to be expected when you dine out.
The food was good and service was meh. Be aware that if you reserve outdoor seating, you may be seated at tables located on the sidewalk and not on the patio. It is also hard to make the switch to get a table indoors. This place is packed.
Delightful. When our waiter was MIA, others happily stepped up to assist. 2nd time and I’ll go again!
The atmosphere is very eclectic and high energy. I can be pretty loud, but just quiet enough to have a good conversation over dinner.
The food was absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to go back and try some different things.
This would have been a perfect review if not for the exception of a few things. Our server was slow coming around, but it seemed that she had a lot of help. So, we weren’t just sitting there unattended, but it did take a while for us to order drinks and food.
Unlike most Italian restaurants, they don’t bring a basket of bread to the table unless you pay $3 for “bread service.” I found this a bit petty considering the prices of their food. It was even more frustrating when what was listed as a bread “service” only consisted of one small plate of toasted bread. We were never asked if we would like more.
One other thing. Although I put on the reservation that we were celebrating my wife’s birthday, it was never acknowledged at any point during the experience.
Don’t get me wrong, we had a great time and will definitely go back at some point. However, these are a few things that impacted the experience that could have easily been avoided.
I like the idea that most things are made from scratch! I would say the serving is small for a fairly high price. Most of the food are tasty, some are on the salty side. Overall, still is a restaurant I would go again.
The Cacio e Pepe was great (though a bit too salty)
For desert we tried the Burnt Ricotta Pie. Nope. Eggy at the edges. The honey and raspberry sauce don't mix well.
We also tried the Torta Nona. At best average.
We will still return for more Cacio e Pepe and maybe try other menu items especially pasta. Desert can be had elsewhere.....
The energy was fantastic the entire time. Perfect for so many different types of occasions. The staff was incredible! Felt like we had an entire team devoted to our table. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks for making our night Storico Fresco!
This was my second visit to Storico. The food and service both times have been excellent.
Wonderful food, service and ambiance! Particularly love the cacio e pepe, squash blossoms, lasagne and salmon. Love that they’ve opened up the side wall to the patio and ho the tables are rearranged/separated. See you soon!!
Always a great meal and great ambiance. He pasta is amazing. Fresh, not boxed.
This was the perfect place to dine out and break the COVID hibernation. The food was superb, service was great. What more can one ask? We will continue to eat here, and shop the Italian specialties in the "grocery" section of Storica.
Everything always fabulous and delicious. We had popette
Lasagna tiramisu & lovely Prosecco. Took home lemon custard cake w/pine nuts & delicious cheesecake.
Anything I’ve ever had here is outstanding.
Great to go area and desserts
Good food-little loud—and server was a little slow.
Food was amazing!!!
