Storico Fresco Alimentari e Ristorante
We had a dream to bring traditional and nearly lost Italian dishes to Atlanta. The result: Storico Fresco Alimentari, quite simply an Italian grocery store and restaurant in one. We’ve gone beyond and created a true Italian experience for you to enjoy. We use locally sourced ingredients to craft our authentic dishes.
Dinner Mon-Sat :5:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Love this place since it opened and it has become very popular. Noise level is pretty high on the weekends, so if you prefer a quieter dining experience go during the week. We like to stop by and purchase something to take home and it is as delicious as dining in!
First time at restaurant. Food was fresh and excellent from the appetizers to the pasta to the sides. Wait staff was attentive and made good menu recommendations.
Our server was fantastic, and when she realized we were visiting from out of town she brought us an order of their squash blossom appetizer. It was absolutely amazing! We followed her lead with a wonderful red wine, salad and house lasagne. We ended the meal with gelato and a cappuccino! It was a most thoroughly satisfying Italian meal. My only small complaint would be that we sat outside, and the tables were close and it was a bit noisy. However the fan helped, and it was still a memorable dining experience! Highly recommend!
Food is excellent, Service is excellent, Noise level is very loud! Still love it!
Outstanding real Italian food. My new favorite. Pastas vegetable plate out of this world. Look forward to my return
This our 1yr old baby Charlotte's favorite restaurant! Everything is amazing but the staff is what sets it apart! They are knowledge, fast and always say hi to charlotte which she loves!
Delicious food and nice environment. Will definitely go back!
Love the food, like always, but it’s so loud! A little acoustic work would be beneficial.
Waited 35 minutes from the time we ordered until we got our main courses. This was the second time in six months that eight of us have dined at Valenza and had the same experience of slow service from the kitchen. The server had no personality and was hard to understand with his Latin American dialect. The meals were very good.
The food was absolutely excellent. We started off with fried squash blossoms which were some of the best I’ve ever had and then my party ordered the tagliatelle bolognese, spinach ravioli, and a seafood pasta and all of us cleaned our plates they were so fresh and delicious. My only complaint was how loud it was. It wasn’t that the music was played too loud, it was just the combined noise of other diners in a small space. We were sitting at a small table of three and almost had to shout to hear each other and our waiter. But they did learn it was one of our birthdays and brought out a free desert without us having to arrange it. Overall a wonderful experience!
This is possibly the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten in. Had a 7pm reservation but got there half hour early. We were seated immediately, had a great dinner. Squash blossoms, lasagna and desert. By 7 o'clock the place was full. Will definitely return.
Great scene backed up by energetic, hip staff
Our favorite spot in Atlanta! The food is terrific but the staff is amazing!
We all enjoyed the food, wine, service and ambiance. The restaurant was crowded, so we were fortunate to be located in the kitchen where we enjoyed watching the efficiency of the staff in the food preparations and execution of serving the diners, quite an experience and we even enjoyed the opportunity to speak with the owner.
Love it everytime
YUMMY food. Love the seating: close to neighbors. It’s noisy! How about a few curtains or area rugs?! I know, it’s ITALIAN. Love everything about it. Had the black ink ravioli. More seafood??! Took my son: his first visit was memorable. Amore’
Good food, but I can’t recommend this place anymore because the parking situation. I paid for 3 hours of parking for dinner and still got a parking ticket for $35. At 9 pm. That’s just obscene.
The city does not seem to want you to support the local economy. Or the local businesses don’t seem to have influence enough to fix the problem. There are plenty of places where you can park for free after 6 pm.
Kelsey our server was terrific. Pasta special delicious as she advised me! Unfortunately so many happy people were there that the noise level was beyond energetic.
Outstanding service. Server Diana was very knowledgeable and helpful about both food and wine. A great menu with nonstandard items (squash blossoms filled with ricotta is my favorite). Not a quiet place, if that's what you're looking for. Lively and always packed. Definitely recommending it.
Came here for family dinner before Father’s Day! Squash blossoms continue to impress. Bolognese in either tagliatelle or lasagna are delicious. Love to come here with family and also to celebrate. Nice, easy, relaxed and good that has you arriving hungry.
Great service and drinks, food was so so. The ravioli was tough and dense. The lasagne was delicious. On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give it a 7. I will definitely go back but will stick to the tried and true , b
Great evening all around!! We enjoyed very much!! Our server was excellent!! 👍🏻😃
I loved the hand-made pasta!! They have so many Italian food there and I wanted to taste all of them.
Sadly, it is an extremely loud place; reminded me of my childhood family Christmas' dinners 😁, everybody yelling, but here was because of the noisy music in the back 🙄
I recommend this restaurant and hope to come back soon
Awesome homemade pasta!!! As good as anywhere that I have had it and as good as the pasta in Italy. I must place to eat in the Buckhead area. Yum, yum, yum.
The food was excellent. We shared the cheese and meat board and the soft shell crab and shrimp appetizers and the portions were generous. Warm toasted bread served with VOO was crisp and delicious. The bar is the place to be for service and the drinks were top drawer with speedy, friendly service. The restaurant was extremely busy and is is noisy...very noisy but we were up for that. There was a mixup with our reservation and we did wait well past our time but the meal was comped and apologies expressed. We will definitely be back.
Fantastic time and experience. Server Rian was wonderful and patient and walked us through the menu selections. Helped come up with a signature dish meshing two things together to go perfectly with a wine we brought in. Was patient when we said we wanted to take a little longer on our meal due to celebrating our anniversary. Will definitely be back.
The atmosphere was fun and the food was delicious. All around great meal. Only gripe is that it was very loud, to the point that it was hard to talk across the table. I will definitely be eating here again soon!
I have lived in town for 7 years, and I go out to eat far more often than I should, and can say unequivocally that Storico is one of the very best restaurants in town, and probably my very favorite. I wish I could go back every week! I do return more frequently than any other restaurant in town. You cannot go wrong here. Although, if you do not order pasta (in addition to the fantastic salads or secondi or apps or drinks), I do think you've made a mistake.
Loved the food and service. Very glad we were not in the main room, as it was very noisy.
My husband and I are so glad we went. The food was phenomenal and the service was excellent. Daniel, our server, was very knowledgeable about the menu, have us great suggestions for things to try since this was our first time there. We decided to share a few dishes and to our surprise they split the dishes for us. Daniel also made an excellent suggestion for the wine- it paired so well with our food. The only disappointment was that we didn't have enough room for dessert. We'll definitely be back and will bring a cooler so we can take home fresh pasta and dinner of their prepared food.
Amazing food, had to wait at the bar for our table but after that service was attentive, warm, and friendly
This was my second time at Storico Fresco. The food is absolutely amazing. Everyone in my group loved what they got. The service was pretty slow, but they seemed to only have one waiter for a packed Thursday night. One thing is that you can’t hear anything. Everything is made of concrete, so the only way you can hear what someone is saying is if they yell and are in your face. But overall I love this restaurant and will definitely be back soon!
Service was slow but food was great! Tables are very close together and was told by an older couple to be quiet (we were not being that loud).
Great food, but the worst service I have ever had in Atlanta!
We are so lucky to have this jewel of a restaurant right here in Atlanta. We love it.
Excelent food- the cacio e pepe pasta is amazing !
Cool, laid back environment.
Everything great except noise level! Way too loud to
carry on a conversation to the point of being unpleasant.
What about a little sound proofing?
Very yummy authentic Italian food! All freshly made and cooked al dente! I highly recommend this place.
Great food and service. Very crowded and VERY noisy
