Service and food always spot on. Noise level is the only downside.
There are a lot of places in Atlanta to get good Italian food. Storico is one of them but their inconsistent and inattentive service makes me want to avoid the place. I ate there with friends a few nights ago. We had four different people servicing our table. No one server seemed to know what the others were doing. We had needs that were left unmet and it seemed like we were trying to flag someone down during much of our meal. Sadly we've mentioned this to management before and the problems continue. Get it together Storico! We consumers have options...
This is probably my favorite reasonably priced restaurant in Atlanta. I was disappointed in my entree when I dined earlier the week. I had the shrimp mussels and clams with pomodoro sauce and pasta. There were basically no clams or oysters in the shells, and this was the special.
Went on St. Patrick's Day night. Fantastic food and service. Very noisy but could be due to St Patrick's Day revelers. Will definitely go back for the food and service. Ambiance could be improved if they decluttered a bit. Also some of their chairs are very uncomfortable(too tall at the front of the seat). Had to get a different one. 4 1/2 stars
Great pasta choices, each one has an unique taste.
Their desserts are excellent!
Our food and service were exceptional. The waiter was very attentive. I made a reservation 3 weeks ago. We ended up waiting about 15-20 minutes for our table. Normally that isn't a problem, but there was no place to sit or even stand without being in the way. My mother is an older lady and it would have been nice to have a place to sit while waiting. I felt like we had to pester the hostesses to seat us.
The food was fantastic. The service was very good. The noise level was a little too loud to carry on an intimate conversation, but that’s only a minor concern. I will definitely be going back.
Service was excellent but my lasagne was overcooked. Acoustics are surprisingly bad for such a new restaurant and it is much too noisy.
One of our favorite neighborhood haunts, but for the first time, we had to wait 35 minutes for our table which we had reserved. When we finally got seated, it took another 12 minutes for anyone to notice we were there.
We thought the server would at least comp our wine, but she didn't offer.
The food was delicious as always, but our service was disappointing to say the least.
Server was quite slow and did not offer advise on quantities to order of appetizers for 4 people.
Go for the special!
this time it was soft shell crab on squid ink pasta,
Dont forget the delicious offerings in the retail shop.
It was the real deal...absolutely delicious!!!
Just gathering with some friends on a whim. We started at the bar and ended up finding a table on Open Table. This place is rock solid. Really great wine list to go along with the incredible food.
We were sat outside in really cold weather even though we had made a reservation. That was disappointing :(
Food wonderful, new chef amazing
Madhouse during prime dinner hour. Constant traffic in and out as tables turn. Valet parking "interesting" with one-way entry/exit and people waiting during rush hours. Noise level excessive with concrete floors and deconstructed ceilings with no sound abatement. While table waiting browse the excellent inventory of house-prepared prepared foods, pastas, Italian cooking condiments, etc. Food delicious and authentic Italian cuisine.
Food was amazing as always
Wonderful authentic Italian food
Great food. Great service.
We had friends visiting from out of town and expected our usual great dinner. Not this time though. I think it was an off night so I’m sure we will return.
Horrible service. They were busy but the waitress did not seem at all concerned to explain the specials or the details of the menu. Our table of 6 did not get the chance to even order a second bottle of wine.
Great place, phenomenal food and very unique city feel.
The food was good. We were seated at the worst table right in front of the kitchen entrance (no door, just an opening) and also had the worst server. I would go back because the food was good, but the combo of the table and the server sort of ruined the dining experience.
I think your restaurant has more authentic Italian food than most. The quality of the food is outstanding and perfectly prepared, with extensive menu options. Your pastas are your forte, especially those that use freshly made pastas; you also know how to make them "al dente" -- not to soft and not to hard. The mista salad was excellent. The only weak point was the bread served that night -- to meager and too dry; but with the portion sizes of the other plates, bread is really not needed. We will be back, especially when we desire pasta.
Food and service were fabulous. It's very loud! We would ask for a table right near the outside window or sit outside when we return
The incredible, kind staff and the authentic cuisine are the main reasons why I'm a repeat guest. The wine list isn't bad, either. I recommend one of the two Barolos.
Great food and energetic atmosphere! Authentic grocery items and pasta.
Absolutely incredible!!!! The food and our server was impeccable! It was only until the last minute when one of the severs flings the door open and let’s it slam right in my face and just storms off. He was also rude to other customers as well. My husband is a bar manager so we pick up on that stuff unfortunately. Shorter guy bald super black thick rimmed glasses. And it was Valentine’s Day so maybe it was stress.... still. Rude. But seriously everything was absolute heaven!
My s/o and I had an great meal here on Valentine's Day. As other reviews suggested, there was a relatively high volume level in the dining room. However, it was not so noisy that we couldn't hear each other speak. The energy level was quite nice, actually. It enhanced the feel of the room with respect to the marketplace setup Storico has. We shared a cheese plate that featured some delicious cheeses, honey, and jam. Our entrees were cooked perfectly and delivered quickly. I HIGHLY recommend the lasagna bolognese. The servers were incredibly efficient and helpful. We will most definitely return to Storico.
Brussel sprouts are great! The past is good size portion for the price!
A very special evening that was matched by
An unforgettable dining experience.
Menu has a good variety. Noise level is high. Server was good but too clingy.
A delicious and fun experience celebrating our friend’s birthday. The wine kept flowing, while we enjoyed fresh and yummy Italian food. Our waiter was attentive and did a great job taking care of a large group! Will definitely return soon!
The service could have been better but the food was great. Noise level made it difficult to converse
We had a fantastic meal and the service was very satisfactory. The only complaint we had was the restaurant was soooo loud. We could hardly hear our conversation.
Best inauthentic italian. Feels like I'm back in italy
Great as always. Thank you.
Have never had a bad experience here! Awesome food and fun atmosphere.
