Storico Fresco Alimentari e Ristorante
We had a dream to bring traditional and nearly lost Italian dishes to Atlanta. The result: Storico Fresco Alimentari, quite simply an Italian grocery store and restaurant in one. We’ve gone beyond and created a true Italian experience for you to enjoy. We use locally sourced ingredients to craft our authentic dishes.

Quality experience at Storico Fresco! Loved the cheese board and the Cacio e Pepe. Thank you!
Excellent food and service. First time at the restaurant and it was worth it.
Valentine’s Day ! We were in and out and enjoyed a great meal with complimentary dessert!
Great attentive servers! Never felt rushed, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our experience. Food was amazing!
The Tortino dessert is one of my top chocolate favorites of all time!
Delicious!! Great service and amazing authentic food!
Food was excellent, except for the tiramisu, which was tasteless (kind of like a big glass of whipped cream). Service was ok - not very helpful or engaged. Chairs were uncomfortable, and it was very noisy. (We had to practically shout to hear each other at our very small table). I would try it again during lunch or at a less busy time.
Three of our dishes delicious. One pasta was well overcooked. Broccoli rabe was almost inedible. Extremely noisy
Wonderful experience .
We love the food and service. Best Italian in Atlanta
Great place to have lunch. Panini and salad, lunch special, was delicious. Servers were very helpful and attentive. The only negative thing was the music was too loud. Will come back for the food.
Great place to go for your birthday! Half off wine bottles on Mondays make the meal more affordable - plus you can cork what you don’t drink and take it home!
I have always enjoyed the food at Storico. Great quality, no fuss, and always delicious. However, service this time was deplorable. We were served by Omar and he was one of the most non attentive servers I have had. No pleasantries, he never checked how the food was, topped up our beverage or if we liked desserts after our meal. When the entrees came, he did not ask if we wanted anything else or condiments. When we asked for black pepper, he simply came and dropped off the grinder at our table. It wasn’t because he was busy, as he spent his time talking to the women at the next table almost the entire time while we were there. Anna on the other hand was amazing. I don’t think she was in charge of the section but she came by, asked if we needed blankets (we sat outside and it was cold), offered to top up our water. Warm and attentive. She wasn’t a server but wished she was and had been in charge of our section.
Great food, great staff, great music. You really get a good sense of a great night out here. The tables are close by one another and if you’re a true American who likes to have two feet of space or more between your tables then this is not your place. However! If you’re a person of culture you’ll enjoy it ;)
THANK YOU Heather McMahan for the recommendation! What an outstanding experience! We had dinner reservations for my birthday at 8:15, however the group seated before us was taking an exceptional amount of time. We weren’t seated until 8:50. What could have been an unpleasant event was most definitely not. The staff was very apologetic for the wait and the manager even brought us an appetizer on the house to make up for the wait.
On top of the excellent service, the food is phenomenal! From the meat and cheese course all the way to dessert, everything was amazing. We will most definitely be back soon!
Great atmosphere, service and food as usual! One note— I do think you should do more than two of the Supplì Siciliano’s in one order though.
This is the best Italian in the Atlanta area. Will keep coming back
Best food ever and great takeout!
To loud. I left with a headache because of yelling to talk and constant din. Will not return. food was good. Perhaps I will go during day and buy fresh pasta, but if you want to have a nice dinner and conversation this is not the place
Friend in town
The food is always pretty good, the service is great. The waiters always make good recommendations. Monday’s are 1/2 price wine and it is definitely worth it. Make
A reservation as it is often packed.
Always a very nice experience.Mondays are great with half price bottles of wine.Had tagliatelle with bolognese sauce and it was well prepared with good flavor.
Excellent food, very much enjoyed. The only downside was the noise ... the restaurant was extremely busy and the noise made it difficult to talk without shouting. Some would like that experience, for our party of 4 it just made it hard to talk. All in all a great place, particularly for a big gang of people celebrating a night on the town.
All in all, this was a fantastic meal. My one complaint... we had some of my husband’s squid ink pasta dish left over, as well as a good portion of the veggie plate we had ordered. All of it was dumped together in one small take out container. My vegetarian daughter wouldn’t touch the delicious veggies. And I don’t blame her. Super disappointing end to a delicious dinner.
We chose Storico Fresco after a recommendation by a friend. I made reservations a week in advance and only outdoor seating was available. I was a bit concerned considering it was February 1st but was reassured it was covered and heated. Once we arrived, the inside restaurant was packed and loud while we were offered the peacefulness of the outdoor space. Blankets were provided and the heaters made it comfortable. Appetizers we chose were the pizzette and the meat and cheeseboard. The teenagers were pretty excited to try actual honeycomb. Our entrees were all amazing. Fresh pasta made the difference. Even an off the menu request was honored. Cacio de Pepe was my choice. And it was delicious. Tagliatelle with Bolognese was a popular selection at our table and it received raves. We also enjoyed sides of broccoli rabe and cauliflower. Desserts were tiramisu, burnt ricotta pie and gelato. The staff was nice enough to add our decorative birthday decor to the dessert for its grand unveiling. We now understand why our friend recommended it. It truly was an enjoyable experience.
Wonderful service from start to finish! Will definitely be back!! The food was amazing and so was the wine!
Great atmosphere, excellent food, great service. Would go back again. Location a little hard to find if not familiar with the area. Parking available once you know the location.
Excellent dining experience; tasteful preparations, well crafted with keen attention to herbal notes and minimalist presentation; popular and noteworthy tagliatelle is 5 star; weekly specials creative and broad; fantastic wine selection, and great cocktail lineup; cozy yet bustling even on a weekday evening; highly recommended
Bit expensive but good !
Crow see for lunch make a reservation .
Delicious food and good service.
Fresh pasta. Quick service. Great ambience.
Authentic Italian, great service. My favorite!!
Delicious food and wonderful service... exactly what we’ve come to expect and the reason we keep returning!
even if you have a reservation, you have to wait for your table 30 - 60 minutes
I love this little place. Great dishes, great drinks, great vibes. It’s my go-to Italian restaurant in buckhead.
Very authentic Italian.. absolutely delicious!! Awesome cocktails, too! The vibe is super cool but it is very noisy so be prepared! Love it!
The restaurant was crowded that’s a good sign, what we didn’t count on was the noise level. It made it difficult to have a conversation at a table for four. All that aside the food was excellent, the appetizers were a bit pricey but delicious. I will visit again but might make it a weeknight or later in the evening to avoid the crowds and noise level.
Outstanding joint ... incorrectly booked an outside table on a chilly evening but they accommodated us with an indoor table on a very busy evening! Great chow ... we started with the artichoke and for entrees went with the lasagna, salmon, whole pan seared branzino and arrabiata pasta. All very tasty and great bar and table service as well.
Very crowded, Very loud, cramped, hard to get in, but that’s tolerable because the food is some of the best in Atlanta!!!
