Storico Fresco Alimentari e Ristorante
We had a dream to bring traditional and nearly lost Italian dishes to Atlanta. The result: Storico Fresco Alimentari, quite simply an Italian grocery store and restaurant in one. We’ve gone beyond and created a true Italian experience for you to enjoy. We use locally sourced ingredients to craft our authentic dishes.

Too loud but very good!
Everything was amazing, from the staff and service to the food. The pasta was some of the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back!
Overall, a very nice meal. The pasta dishes were excellent particularly the fettuccini with shrimp in a pesto with pistachios.
Good selection of beers and wine.
Service was good but forgot to bring a second glass of wine that was requested
The mushroom plate was good.
I would describe the place as LOUD not energetic, just LOUD and also VERY DARK.
Would go again but there are many other Atlanta restaurants I would choose first primarily due to how LOUD and DARK it was. Also, it lacked character compared to many other upscale restaurants in Atlanta.
The waitress didn’t write down our order when she took it and then forgot the two side dishes. She actually accused us of not ordering one of them and we never received it. The food was great. The branzino, grilled octopus and squid ink pasta were standouts. The ambiance was loud but not overly distracting. Just wish the service had matched the food.
Enjoyed the dinner. Food and service excellent. Little noisy as very active.
Always the best!
It was so noisy you could not have a conversation. I could not get out of there fast enough. Will never return
Absolutely a gem of a place. I've lost count of how many times I've been and it blows me away each time. ambiance, wine list and pasta dishes are the highlights, sit outside if you want to be able to hear your table, inside gets crazy loud on busy nights :)
After an initial issue with where the hostess wanted to seat my date and I which was resolved quickly, everything was amazing. The service was stellar, the food, fresh and delicious (though the pasta serving was unusually small by American standards but just right for me), the wine recommendation was spot on and the dessert was sublime! And I am not even a huge Italian food fan!!!! Definitely worth the calories 😊. Me new favorite go to spot for a delicious and well priced meal.
Had a 9:30 reservation on a Wednesday and the service was still great. Major props, coming from the service industry I know how difficult it can be to hold the same standard. It was my sisters first time and she loved it!
Incredible friendly service and food
awesome food. Knowledgeable servers.
Ok. It was ok.
Always a pleasure to eat here. Great service and food. Noisy.
Great place. Super noisy though. Very hard to enjoy a conversation. Food was good not excellent. Great value!
Our waitress made the whole experience perfect. The food was great.
One of the best restaurants and Italian food I've had in Atlanta.
Great service, excellent food especially the fried artichokes!
We loved our service, the atmosphere and most important the food and wine.
For sure we will come back.
Way too loud and they tried to seat us at a table that was literally bumped up to another party's table. . .which is really weird. Three other parties declined to sit there after we refused. So weird. . Why would they try to do that? It was like they just wantrd to squish as many people in there as possible. Our server was not attentive. The food was good, but not amazing.
Service was slow and since there were 6 of she knew 20% tip would be added on automatically which also wasn’t posted. We were charged $3 for Extra bread when we only received 4 pieces with the cheese board. Very cheap way to add on to already high prices. The banzino was full of bones and waitress said it was a filet which to me implies no bones. she never came back to even ask how the meal was. I asked her to take a picture as we were celebrating special occasion and she said maybe later as she was too busy. Will never come back.
It was amazing as always!
So tasty!! Went for lunch & ordered several dishes to share. Had a cappuccino & lemon cheesecake for dessert. Everything was good so try it all
Best Italian in Atlanta!
The portions were SUPER small. I actually got an appetizer & a meal & was still hungry when i left. The food had great flavor, just wish i didn’t have to go somewhere else to eat after i left.
Music was VERY loud, and servers were a tad rude. The food was so great though it made it all worth it!
Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous!! A little noisy and the parking is tricky but DO NOT let that stop you from making regular visits.
Food: Very Good!
Loved it...however it was very loud/noisy the night we were there. They were busy which is great, but it made it a bit more challenging for “date night”.
Excellent night out with great food and wine while celebrating family and traditions. Appetizers were amazing, pastas decadent, veggies exceptional! I’ll return, no doubt.
I think most people would walk right by this place without even knowing they just pasted one of the best Italian restaurants in the area...so look for it and you will find it.
This was was a surprisingly fantastic find!! We went with some giddies, which can be hard to please but even they loved the place.
The have a quaint outdoor seating area that has heaters so you are able to sit comfortably outside if you wish. The bar is situated at the side and looked nice as well but it was packed so we opted to be seated early.
The food...the food..the food. I can’t say enough about the charcuterie because it was a nice pre-selected selection. The cacio de Pepe, tagliatelle and salads were presented nice as well. But the taste, oh the taste made the visit. You must try everything.
The only thing I regret is not getting to shop for the products they had but I will do on my next visit for sure. Yes! I will be back. They have pre-made dishes, cuts of meat, cheeses and oils to purchase. I didn’t get to see if they had house made pasta you can buy but will look next time. So excited to go back there.
Too loud, very crowded, uncomfortable seating.
The food was excellent ( but small portions) and the service was about average. The tables were close together and the noise levels were excessive.
Great food and service.
I love this place. I highly recommend if you are looking for authentic Italian with a very unique ambiance!
They clearly do not like single diners. My dining companion had an emergency and had to cancel at the last minute. The hostess was rude when I explained what happened but that I would still like to dine. She led me to a table, threw the menu on the table, and walked off. Service was adequate but not good. The server was very kind to larger tables but barely spoke to her two tops beyond "what do you want?" as she glared at them. The food was way overpriced for what it was even though everything is made in house. The tables are jammed so close together that you can't walk between then without hanging body parts over the neighboring diners. There are much better restaurants in Atlanta at this price point, even if Storico Fresco is one of the "it" places of the moment.
Excellent food! We love this place. The service was just ok on this last visit as our order got messed up and we waited a long time for our check to leave. We will be back!
Storico Fresco is fantastic. Energetic atmosphere and great food. Wait staff is knowledgeable and appropriately attentive. My only complaint (and it doesn’t take away from a great night) is that the corkage fee is a big high at $25.
