Storico Fresco Alimentari e Ristorante
We had a dream to bring traditional and nearly lost Italian dishes to Atlanta. The result: Storico Fresco Alimentari, quite simply an Italian grocery store and restaurant in one. We’ve gone beyond and created a true Italian experience for you to enjoy. We use locally sourced ingredients to craft our authentic dishes.
If I had to guess their #1 priority for service, I’d say it’s “how fast can we get them the F out of here”. Really seemed to be all they cared about the entire time. I swear our salads came in 90 seconds. They were clearing our plates before we were done. Pouring wine while we had fresh cocktails. Brought the check with our coffee. This was NOT a late evening reservation either. Good food, but overshadowed by the rush rush rush!!
Host and manager were extremely polite, friendly and helpful!
Overall the experience was very nice.the two top tables were kind of small, other than that we enjoyed our selves.
Food was good and wine selection was good. Waitress was either over busy in the front section with too many larger tables or just not interested. Will go back - but if service is average again I will take it off my list
Food is really good here, unfortunately our order was lost and not found for nearly an hour.
They comped the meal and threw in a dessert which was nice but not the experience we were looking for. That being said, we'll try again in the future because the food here is worth it.
Excellent dining experience. Efficient service. great buzz. Slightly too noisy.
The food was fantastic, my only reservation would be the noise level. There were three of us at a small table and we still had a difficult time having a conversation,
Great place to go if you are not interested in talking to anyone.
Louder than usual. Food was mediocre this trip especially sides.
The service and food were absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to visit again. It is a little hard to find if you have never been.
the food is incredible... i don’t say that lightly. i am not someone who eats white pasta regularly and like to save it for special occasions/a really good restaurant. this pasta is up there. the service is meh and the place is so noisy you can barely hear yourself think. i recommend sitting outside if you don’t mind being watched by all the other parties waiting to be seated.
We ordered lasagna and tagliatelle with bolognese. Also had the squash blossom appetizer and gelato for dessert! The pasta is so good- they make it there.
Amazing place. Reminds me a lot of the trattorias in Europe. Food is excellent and love the atmosphere. Also took home some of their retail items. The quiches and the ragú with meatballs were outstanding. My new go to day to say Italian place.
I never write negative reviews, but dang. Super loud, 20 min b/f we even got water service, waiters acted like taking your order/putting down your food was a total inconvenience. Ignored a friend's warning of same, thinking maybe she just went on an off night. Bummed, b/c we were excited to try it.
Wonderful as always ! Can not go wrong when you pick an evening at Storico !
As always the food was excellent and the service extraordinary. I can’t wait until they open in Alpharetta area, but until then, I will continue to make the drive down. The owners are amazing and always make you feel welcome. I would highly recommend it.
Delightful. Everyone had a great meal experience and went on and on about the food.
Impeccable Italian food-loved the spinach ravioli and pasta arabiatta. Tiramisu and a nice hot strong cappuccino were the perfect end to the night. Just one star off for ambience because it was so loud in the restaurant that we had to yell at each other and our server to be heard. Nevertheless, we can’t wait to come back.
Great food & ambience but felt waiter didn’t have time for us.
Food and drinks were delicious. Tables were very close together, room was kind of dark, and music and voices were loud. Overall though, would recommend it for some great Italian food.
The food is always great. This time I enjoyed the pasta of the week - pumpkin ravioli - and it was divine. The restaurant was overflowing with people, including the bar area, and the noise was intense. Service really varies at this restaurant. Sometimes it is very good, sometimes very inattentive. We had 3 different people serving/taking drink and food orders, which gets a little confusing.
Extremely busy and service was slow.
Pasta was cold and so stiff I had to send it back. I had heard so many great things.
Boar ragu with pasta was solid and lasagne as well.
Wine seemed high....
Mushrooms excellent EXCEPT like the pasta- desperately needed some good Salt! Flavors would have shined with a little salt. Alas, taste was not in the forefront.i night try again.
Food is always amazing!
Food was amazing! New favorite place to go!
The best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. I go multiple times a week and it never disappoints. Bravo!
The place is a bit hidden but so worth finding! The food and cocktails were excellent and the service was good...a bit slow but good and understandable for this type of a restaurant on a Saturday night. If you want great Italian, this is the place to get it!
The food was great and I genuinely enjoy going to this restaurant. However, this last visit was for my birthday dinner and there were a number of things that went wrong. We were seated late, our waitress was incredibly hard to get a hold of throughout dinner, and they charged us for the 'complimentary' birthday dessert. I really expected better from Storico.
great food flavor but service is slow at times for simple items , like a glass of wine or even some bread.
other families come in after us and they were eating long before us.
Love everything but the noise level is a little high. Food and service was great. Love the Specialty Cocktails, Buffalo Bill in particular.
Our go to for delicious
Great spot, great staff, delicious food. Noise level was a bit much, though the place was packed to the gills (on a Weds!). We’ll go back, but maybe try to sit outside so it’s a little quieter.
Great food but the noise was intolerable. I might come back if I reserve a table outside.
Great food, a bit noisy, service could be a little quicker. Bar service was great
Great food. V. Busy on Monday night as it’s 1/2 price bottles of wine. It gets pretty loud.
We LOVED our dinner. The food was delicious, atmosphere is fun and lively and they have a very nice wine list.
We love coming to Storico. The food, cocktails and wine are always perfect!
Poor service, so loud that we could hardly talk to each other. My wife's order (shrimp and linguini) arrived with both the heads and tails on the shrimp!! Who would want to want to eat that. She sent it back and told the server to have the heads and tails cut off. Unbelievable. We've eaten there a number of times....but never again.
The Music was so loud. The food was ok nothing special and expensive.
I love this place. I didn’t even realize how good pasta could be.
Fresh pasta, original menu items, great service. It was crowded and loud on a Friday night, so if that’s not your scene, find an off time to go (if there is one?) Also would love to see above getting a chef’s table near the kitchen next time!
