Storico Fresco Alimentari e Ristorante
We had a dream to bring traditional and nearly lost Italian dishes to Atlanta. The result: Storico Fresco Alimentari, quite simply an Italian grocery store and restaurant in one. We’ve gone beyond and created a true Italian experience for you to enjoy. We use locally sourced ingredients to craft our authentic dishes.
It was Our 1st time here.Food was excellent! Our waitress Kelsey was amazing. The lasagna was delicious.
Great birthday celebration with work gals! Can’t beat half price bottles of wine. New fave is the meat and cheese board!
Our food was amazing. Better than I remember, since I had not been in a while. Service was slow and was not real cordial. We had to flag her down a few times, and when we could get her, we felt like we needed to order real quick in case we did not see her for a while.
This is a great place but the noice level is WAY to high!! We opted for heat and sitting outside versus AC and noise. And no we are not old.
the whole Branzino was to die for! We loved their version of the Negroni as well!
Not the typical Italian menu. Lots of novel dishes, killer desserts. Tables being close together adds to the vibe. Service was casual but professional
OMG what a surprise....amazing food and great staff!
Fantastic & authentic place to have pasta in Atlanta!
Such a great experience except it is very loud in there all the time. Always need a reservation even on a weekday because it is crowded!
The absolute best Italian spot. Get the fried squash blossoms 👅
Love it here always.
Awesome as always!
Great service and as always outstanding appetizers, wine and entrees. We had a great evening at Storico.
It was way too loud. But lovely otherwise.
The fried artichoke was phenomenal. The Carasau salad, arugula with prosciutto , was excellent and the Cavatelli al Ragu was also excellent. The tortino was excellent as well. Would recommend highly.
Food and service are always top notch. Best casual Italian in Atlanta.
So glad we came! Service was beyond great! Food and wine were delicious so we will go back!
We loved this place. The fresh made pasta and the meats and cheeses were great. We were late for our reservation because our Uber driver got lost, the address says Peachtree but it’s actually right off of Peachtree st. The hostess called to make sure we were still coming, thank goodness they didn’t give our table away. We sat outside so noise was not an issue. We will go again and I highly recommend.
Love the food and the ambiance but the noise level is deafening! May have to put this restaurant on the “lunch only” list.
We went to Storico Fresco for my boyfriend's 40th birthday. The food was great, our server was attentive, and they even gave him tiramisu with a candle in it! Definitely recommend :)
I’ve been here 3x’s. Food great. Atmosphere fun and upbeat. Service poor. You guys really need to spend some time training your staff to be more attentive, available and to listen.
Excellent food and great service! The only thing that I was not in love with was how fast everything came out. We ordered an appetizer and entrees for 3 people on a Saturday night and were in and out in just under an hour, which included time of just sitting.
As always outstanding dinner. The ravioli special was wonderful. Sad that you were out of squash - love the squash blossoms.
Wait staff was terrible. Understaffed and stressed out. Food is consistently good, but will definitely be taking a break from here until they can work through the staffing issue. Waiters were curt and rushed.
It was a fantastic time :) will definitely be back!
Truly authentic Italian dining
Food was good but it was entirely too loud. We had to scream to hear each other- won’t return because of this.
Wonderful evening as usual!
This is a lively Italian restaurant, tucked behind and underneath a Buckhead strip mall. The dishes were hit and miss. My wife enjoyed her spinach ravioli, and the asparagus with hazelnuts was delicious. But both the squash blossom (a house specialty) and my cacio e pepe were heavy, and simply too cheesy, losing subtlety in flavor and texture. The atmosphere is loud, the decor bare, the floor crowded, and the wait staff constantly pushing through the small spaces. At a lower price point this would be an OK spot for casual Italian, but at these prices, it is hard to justify bringing the family... $17, plus tax and tip, for a plate of noodles with cheese and pepper?
lunch was well done by all, especially Tory the barkeep of the day, spinach noodle lasagna out of this world, my guests all went with my recommendation
I was excited to check out this place because of their interesting menu with freshly made-from-scratch pasta. They were very busy when we arrived, so I hoped that spoke to the food they served. We had reservations and were quickly seated at a small table for two next to the main aisle. It was very loud and dimly lit, with people chattering and sipping on glasses of wine. Looking around I could see that it was a pasta shop and classroom by day, with many authentic Italian dishes and fresh pasta displayed in cases near a register, reaffirming my hope for a delicious meal. It appeared they had different waiters for every step of the process - one waiter poured us water, one waiter brought my wine, one waiter took our orders, one waiter even fixed the wobble in our table. It felt very hectic, but I was hopeful, even though I could barely get or keep the attention of our waiter and I'm not sure I was ever given his name. A thorough read of the menu revealed it was very heavy on ravioli and ricotta cheese in many of their dishes, two things neither I nor my date were fans of, so we tried the tagliatelle with a mixed meat sauce and the cacio e pepe. It took quite a while to receive our meals; the couple next to us received their meals first even though we had been seated quite some time before they arrived. The presentation of the pasta was lovely, and it had a nice chewy texture, but we weren't huge fans of the flavor. Understandably, the cacio e pepe is a simpler dish with few ingredients, but I expected the meat sauce to have a richer flavor; honestly it tasted the same as the sauce you would find in a can of Spaghettios or Chef Boyardee, which was very disappointing. Having had very similar delicious meals at another fresh pasta shop, we had high expectations for our dishes here that we felt ultimately fell flat in flavor.
Great place to eat! Loved it! Just make sure to tell the employees that you’re still working on your plate because some employees were a little much with the “clearing of the plates”. Other than that, fantastic and super yummy!
Food was fantastic!
Noise level unbearable. We left as soon as we were seated
One of my favorite restaurants in Buckhead - the pasta is top notch and the focus is on quality of ingredients. I recommend Storico to friends and to out-of-town visitors on a regular basis. On this visit, we had fried squash blossoms that were handled with delicate care for an excellent result. One of many reasons to love this restaurant.
We came on a Monday, not knowing Monday’s are half priced bottles of wine. The food was excellent, and the wine was twice as good at half the cost. Our only gripe is that it’s very loud inside. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience. We’ll be back again soon!
Great food. Great waiter. Half price wine dinner on Monday was super except noise level is deafening.
Came with family
Delicious food from appetizers to main course to dinner
Branzino and the Burnt Ricotta Pie are amazing
Very high energy place so expect it to be loud and lively.
Food was excellent. We split clams and mussels appetizer and it was delicious and plenty. We also split a pasta and dessert. All very good. Only downside was size and price of Dewars on the rocks. It wasn't outrageous, just poor value. I would go back.
