The cuisine at Storico Fresco is very good and portions are plentiful. There are many interesting choices on the menu. The two things that made the evening less than ideal were the high noise level and the 'overly efficient' table service. Some of our plates were whisked away before we could even put down our forks and knives from the last bite. The wine bottle was whisked away with about a half glass remaining inside. We finally had to ask one of the servers to leave us in peace. The rush to clear a table is very common in American restaurants (sadly!) but this was extreme even by American standards.
Great food. Small place that can get loud when it is full.
Excellent food. Good service. Quite loud. Ambience is minimal.
Food and service were absolutely awesome.
Great food. Much better than most southern Italian restaurants. The ingredients were fresh, and nearly as good as that you’d find in NYC. However it was just a bit shy of perfect. Overall a great experience.
Food was amazing. We’ll definitely be back.
I live nearby and have been a steady customer. The staff is well trained and tend to stay adding an element of predictable and consistent service. I have enjoyed my ventures there and frankly, if someone doesn’t enjoy the menu, the should go home and eat Chef Bogarde from a can.
This place is an awesome authentic pasta place. It gets kind of loud but I guess thats a good thing with so many people in the restaurant.
I had the fried chicken and it was salty. So I took the skin off but still it was a bit salty, but everything else was superb. The meat and cheeseboard was excellent and the squid ink pasta was excellent as well.
Always great food and great atmosphere
We had an amazing experience the first time we went here and were excited to go back. Unfortunately, there will not be a third time. Our server was incredibly rude, waited over 30 minutes to take our drink orders, and we waited for nearly two hours for our entrees and had to hunt down another server to get our check. Also, very loud acoustics (at least on a Saturday night), so not a great place for conversation.
Great as always. Good food, good service. Thanks, Dan!
Food was great. Just extremely loud.
Food took forever and it was not it when it got to the table.
Great food. Went early so could talk inside but by 8 PM it was too loud.
Best meal we’ve had in Atlanta in a long time. This was our 4th visit to Storico. Everything from the appetizers (squash blossoms, salmon bruschetta, artichokes) to entrees were incredible! Best cacio e pepper in life, divine! Service was great, cocktails delicious- overall amazing experience. Will be back soon!
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent wine, but the noise level was rather high for conversation
Service was fantastic. Fresh pasta was great. Decent selection of wine.
Food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Will definitely go back. Place was packed for a Thursday evening. Great concept of having retail to buy homemade pastas and sauces.
Monday is 1/2 price off bottles of wine, wonderful food, service and atmosphere!
We enjoy the food. I’ve been three times so far. The food is always good and is sometimes great. The desserts are fabulous and it’s a great wine list.
Ordered the same dish twice, the portion of the dish was very different - half the size second time. Waited for an hour for our main dishes.
I love the food here and they have a nice wine selection. Its a fun place, but my only complaint is the noise level is really loud and the tables are so close together it is difficult to hear.
Got there early to grab dinner before a show. 5:30. I had a reservation but chose to sit at the bar because the dinning room was empty. Food, wine and desserts were all great
The food was very yummy. The squash blossoms were tasty! It was very noisy though..
Outstanding Food, great atmosphere!
Been meaning to try this place since it opened. Loved the atmosphere and the service was great. Our waitress last night was so knowledgeable and recommended great wines and some great entrees. Went with the meat and cheese board and the ravioli spinaci. Definitely a great Italian place ITP.
Wonderful Food. Attentive service. Your mouth will think it's in a Tuscan hillside restaurant. Your ears will think they are behind an airliner. It is loud. And every chef's table in the kitchen area occupied with at least one birthday party it was louder than normal. The food is fantastic. All fresh-made pastas. The fried chicken (Italian?) may be the best thing on the menu. The hanger steak is excellent. Desserts were tasty and the Stuffed Squash Blossom appetizer is always impressive. But it is loud. We often go for lunch. Not as many people. Quieter and still amazing food. It's not a fancy place but it is stuffed to the gills with people excited about eating great food.
This was our first visit after a friend recommended it. The food was delicious. I had the Cacio e Pepe, which was outstanding, and my wife had the Ravioli Spinaci, which was also fantastic. We plan to return very soon.
Daniel, our waiter, was not attentive. Did not bring us grated cheese when we asked; pasta got cold.
Steve was amazingly gracious, and the food was delicious!9
Food was very good, ambience ok, noise level much too loud to enjoy any conversation. Tables were extremely close together in a very small space.
This place has great food and wine... it is just really loud! Staff are knowledgeable and attentative, it is fun... but just be prepared, it is loud!
We love Storico. It is our neighborhood go to. Pietro was so gracious to accommodate us when we needed to add our daughter to our reservation. Also wonderful meal!
Delicious food! Noisy for dinner. No good place to wait if you arrive early...just a note! Also need more outside seating for dining and waiting!
Our group had mixed reviews about this place. The noise level on Saturday night was a detractor which probably affected our opinion of this restaurant.
Great dishes included the spinach ravioli - delicioso! The appetizers were excellent from the brussel sprouts to the cauliflower to the meat/cheese tray (they need to give more bread from the start - too few pieces for our hungry crew). Less impressive was the cream pasta with mushrooms - not too flavorful. And, the lasagne was just okay. Desserts were very good. Wine list was also impressive. Overall, our group of 6 gave it a 3.0 - 4.0 rating on a 5.0 scale.
Probably better to go when you don't have to scream to be heard with everyone saying, "what did you say" before engaging in a conversation.
We went on a Saturday evening and were seated outside on the small patio outside the restaurant entrance. We heard car buzz throughout the evening in busy Buckhead. Lunch might be a better time for the patio experience. There was a good variety of pasta dishes on the menu and the food tasted good. While I enjoyed the lasagna, the homemade spinach noodles were very thin and the bolognese sauce overpowered the dish.
I have had lunch twice at Storico and really enjoyed both experiences. For dinner, however, on a Saturday night, the noise level was too much. The food was wonderful as always but our table was right beside the bar, despite having a reservation. I am not sure though, whether a different inside location would have been any better. Will return but only for lunch.
Our experience was incredible. We had some really delicious pasta, wine, and dessert. After dessert we had a few cocktails. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to go out for a fun night with tasty food.
#ChefBoyardee. Seriously this place has a fancy name but the food was awful. Both mine and my dates were bland and not properly cooked. I highly recommend La Tavola if you want great food and service.
