3 year anniversary
Honored reservation. Excellent service, good food.liz, was a wonderful waitress. Only go with a reservation.
Great food as always. First rate. But for some reason waitress was in slow mo.
Good food, good service, Craig the Manager is very attentive makes sure things are to your liking.
server was very slow - we were seated in the bar area & she was never around
Very good as usual
Nice good service
Pleasant atmosphere, reasonable prices, menu has great variety from salads to chops. Very consistent in quality of food and service Just a go-to place when you want more than fast food and less than a pricey dining experience
Always have a very satisfying meal and good time. Manager, Craig and wait staff do a good
job...have been at Stonewood with family many times ......mention often to visitors.
Very disappointed with reservation; restaurant must have been overbooked as we had to wait 20 minutes for our reserved table. Once seated service was pleasant, quick, informative and efficient.
All the entries were properly cooked, presented and delicious. Wonderful dinner.
Overall experience was good. Really felt our waitress was pushing us at a fast pace and always trying to upsell. Other than that I would probably go back
Always good food, great waitress, had a very nice time. Highly recommend,
Great time, as always. My wife specifically asked about the pork chops, and they made them for her, even though they are not officially back on the menu. Soooo good! The lamb chops are still not back on, so I hope they do that, because they were always superb. I had the pot pie, and it was fantastic - again. Tracey was our waitress and did a phenomenal job.
All in all, another great visit!
Based on the overall high ratings at Open Table , I guess this is what passes for haute cuisine in Wellington.
But its more like a glorified diner with very unimaginative pedestrian food aplenty.
Probably gets high ratings form those who are mostly interested in stuffing their stomachs rather than enjoying their food or from those who don't know the difference between MacDonald's and The French Laundry.
Also the service can was askelter.
The dining experience was fine but the issue with the Open Table gift card was awful.
1) Our preferred restaurant was not on the Open Table program.
2) Although we received a confirmation from Open Table, the restaurant had no record of our reservation or gift card activation.
3) If I did not have my phone with the Open Table confirmation with me to prove we had a legitimate gift card we would have been unable to use it.
4) Although I had listed the event as a special occasion (birthday) again the restaurant had no record of it
5) As it was the whole transaction was time consumung and embarrassing.
6) I would not use Open Table again nor would I give an Open table gift card. A regular cash gift card would have been much easier with fewer problems and we could have used it at our preferred restaurant.
Our food, as usual, was excellent and fairly priced. The acoustics in the restaurant are excellent, so you never have to shout and you can hear everyone at the table. My only comment this time was that our server may have had one table too many. She was very nice and helpful, but she did not check on us too much and we had to hunt her down for water.
Went particularly for the prime rib but was every disappointed. It was tough, tasteless and had to be sent back...kind of ruined our evening.
Very good waitress, friendly and responsive to our requests. My dish “seafood cavatappi” was over cooked. Pasta was overboiled and veggies were mushy. To be fair, I did not complain right away because we had concert tickets and a time limit. Other members of my party had salmon special which was ok, and a salad with chicken which was fine. I will try Stonewood once more and hope for better results.
As usual our dinner was delicious. Our waiter, David was polite, professional, and efficient. All in all our dining experience was very pleasant
Normally love this restaurant And give it all 5’s, but they were off their game this night
Great spot for meetings and get togethers.
Celebrated my 40th birthday with family and friends. Menu selection is great because it took us forever to decide what to order. For a Wednesday evening, it was busy. The decor is nice but I did not see any tables, only booths. Drink selection is really good and drinks came out delicious. Our food was amazing and portions were big!! Service was good, but we had to ask for bread. We liked our experience overall and we will be back!
Frequently dine at this restaurant & usually service is good & food is decent. Two guests at our table ordered prime rib. Ten minutes after ordering the server informed us there was no prime rib available, so the guest then ordered rib eye which also was not available! Also prezel sticks not available! Server made a rude comment "weekend was busy & delivery is on Tuesday so you a out of luck for dining on a Monday!!!!
Food and service always excellent. They need more room!
Superb server and excellent food.
Other than the salmon being a bit over cooked every else went very well as usual.
Enjoyed our meal. Very reasonable pricing. Some wines on a Saturday night were 50% off. Our server Scott was excellent. Our first time and we plan on going back
As always a great dinner. And wonderful service?
We enjoy dining at stonewood at Wellington. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. Our server, Miranda was professional and pleasant. The manager Leslie keeps a good eye on the running of the restaurant.
Fabulous. We haven’t been here in a while. Just because it’s not that close to home. We each had a special. I had the salmon with blueberry compote, asparagus and quinoa, etc. the salmon was cooked just right & the almonds were toasted to just the right crispness - super tasty. Hubby opted for the steak & shrimp special with an upgrade to filet (from beef medallions). There were even some shrimp ravioli. His steak was cooked to perfection and very tender. Lots of garlic. The app was just ok. Grilled shrimp on garlic toast. Shrimp really was only warm & the toast was ho-hum. Could have done without. The pretzel bread sticks, warm from the oven - yummy. We passed on dessert. Very nice. We’ll be back.
We were greeted when we entered & seated promptly. Shay, our waitress, took our beverage orders. We weren’t rushed to place our dinner selections. Salmon on the special menu was moist and delicious. Two soup, onion the other was clam chowder were large portions. Wings were great. Shrimp appetizer was filling. Lesley, one of the managers, stopped by to make sure we were satisfied. We would recommend Stonewood.
Wonderful burgers we had were delicious, the ahi tuna dinner very good. Onion soup delicious. The crab & Brie appetizer a little salty. Service was good. No complaints at all friendly staff etc.
Food was wonderful and loved the varied menu including casual foods like burgers. Especially loved the creamy chicken over bow tie pasta. Incredible. Good service as well and comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommended.
The food and service was excellent
Thought waitress was not the nicest. First time that’s happened at Stonewood.
This is about the 4th time here, we like it occasionally for special occasions because it's a bit more upscale than outback. Did the sirloin steak this time, the cut didn't seem as good as previous time I had it here and was a bit disappointed. Everything else was great that night though, service, bread & pretzels, tavern wings, salad and the chocolate cake.
Phenomenal evening from start to finish as per usual we absolutely love this restaurant!!
We had a 5:30pm reservation and it took 10 minutes to seat us. Once at the table our server was very attentive, answered our questions and did a good job making sure our meal was prepared properly and to our complete satisfaction. The quality of the food was excellent and I thought the value of the meal was excellent as well. We visit Stonewood occasionally and will probably go more often. Good overall experience especially on a holiday night.
Always enjoy the food and atmosphere. Service was a little off this last time but that was the exception to the rule. Highly recommend.
