Our server Lee was great. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The bread basket is unique and the pretzel bread is our favorite. Lobster bisque was not as sweet as most, which we liked. Some of the best beef in town!
Service and excellent food quality is consistently exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful birthday celebration. Always a favored place to dine.
Food was not good. This restaurant used to be good but it is not anymore.
Fabulous food and excellent service! We always have a wonderful experience at Stonewoods.
Lucy was attentive and not obtrusive as we met for a meal as we hadn't seen each other in a while
We didn't feel rushef
It was just ok. Service was good but good was average especially for the price.
Great server. Food just OK
Great experience as always. A goto place for a great dinner when in Orlando.
Love Stonewood. It is a fine restaurant in a neighborhood environment. Nice variety of menu selections as well. Many nice restaurants on Sand Lake Road, but you are competing with the tourist crowd, which can be loud and over crowded. We have reserved the private room for special occasions, imbibed and dined at the bar, eaten in the restaurant, and outside. We find it to be a gem in the neighborhood and one of our favorites.
We love the stonewood grill, they never disappoint.....we had a great server and a lovely meal.
Excellent atmosphere for a very nice dining experience. Always consistent in quality and service.
I don't normally write reviews, but, we came away completely impressed with this restaurant. Was the best we had all week in Orlando.
Food ok but over priced. Lucy was a Great server. She knew the food.
While the severe was very gracious and attentive, my dinner was so poorly prepared I had to send it back. While it was prepared okay the second time, asking for meat cooked rare shouldn't result in receiving near that is well-done.
We were very pleased with our entire evening. We had the lobster filet combo and it was outstanding.
We enjoyed the Valentine's Day special dinner which also included a desert. The food was great and the service was also. Enjoyed our anniversary dinner!
An excellent experience for Valentine's Day. The staff was courteous and extremely attentive. At my request, the table had been specially set and flowers that I had ordered were in place at our table. The food, steak and lobster, was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for a special night. Stonewood created a lasting memory for our group. I'll be back.
The service was Great and both our dinners we Graet also, we
always go here for Special Occasions because we know
it will be a great evening.
Good value. Plenty of food options to meet all tastes including gluten-free for date. Good service. Plenty of seating.
Valentine dinner special was delicious with a perfectly cooked steak and a good size lobster tail.
We have visited this Stonewood many times over the last ten, plus, years. We love it for it's consistent food quality and excellent service and ambiance. We love that it has maintained itself as a pleasant place to dine.
Poor service...food was not prepared as requested, had to hunt down our waiter, food was incorrectly charged on the bill. We will not be rushing back.
The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and gracious, polite staff. The food in my opinion lacked seasoning, but was cooked well.
Always like going across the road for a great meal. We, and our neighbors are so glad to have a great restaurant so close to our front doors.
Big variety and good food and a pretzel rolls are the best
We were seated next to a large group that were so loud we couldn't converse easily. It also seemed to take a long time to get any food, bread etc. The onion soup is one of their best menu items!
Went for the first time on a Saturday night. I had a reservation, but one wasn't needed as there was plenty of seating around 9pm. Our server was very knowledgeable and provided several recommendations. We started with the steak bites with horseradish sauce and toast points. They were cooked perfect and the dish was great. I would've liked to get a few more bites of steak though as there was more than enough horseradish sauce and toast for the amount of steak bites. For the main course, I had Short Ribs w/ butternut squash ravioli. The meal was delicious. The short ribs were tender and the ravioli/sauce was amazing. It almost tasted like dessert to me. My girlfriend had the boursin stuffed beef medallions and they were excellent as well. As we were leaving, we both noticed the bar had a pretty decent crowd. We'd definitely come back.
My wife and I found this online, and we were totally impressed with the meal. Our server made some great recommendations on our appetizer and meals, and we were not disappointed. The food was outstanding, and the timing of our service was spot-on. The server was very attentive to our needs and friendly. On top of not being in a tourist area, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Can't wait to go back.
We had a great time in a comfy place with really good food. Their happy hour drinks were good and priced really well. The highlight, though, was our server, Anthony. Ask for him - he will not sisappoint!
Four of us went there for a birthday dinner. I had not been for a couple of years. Out of the 4 dishes, one was rated excellent, two very good, and one good. I had one of the entree's from their seasonal menu. Unfortunately, they took the title of the menu a little too far. It was over the top with seasonings. Ironically, two of the other dishes lacked a little flavor.
I don't want to sound too negative, as I still have an overall positive impression of this restaurant. I would definitely go back again based on my past experience, the overall atmosphere and service, which I find to be excellent.
Delicious food, perfect service, good price
Had the steak medallions with wild mushroom sauce and it was wonderful. Wife had ahi and it was seated perfectly.
Outstanding food and ambiance as allways. I am local and return quite often to Stonewood.
We enjoy Stonewood for the highback booth seating that gives you a more intimate setting, The menu items are always well prepared, the servers are pleasant and attentive. Their steaks are excellent. Sea food is properly prepared and the deserts are very good. There is an ample variety of items for both of us and the prices are moderate for food and wine.
Good service and good food. That's why we eat there regularly.
Excellent steaks, cooked exactly as requested. Service was also excellent -- attentive without being intrusive. Also, the tables are far enough apart that you can have a private conversation.
I have going to Stonewood since it opened. We went with neighbors we felt the food was rather salty this time.
Otherwise we like to go to Stonewood because it's a great restaurant and it's across the street from our subdivision. We're glad it's here.
New Year's Eve dinner was excellent. Felt a bit rushed which is unusual given our experience at Stonewood.
Overall, very good!
Excellent food and service. Mickey and team are top notch!!
